Made reservations and went there, but wouldn't allow are service dog in

Very worn, located right next to the street and poor indoor climate in the rooms. Breakfast in the building next door is included and is ok, by US standard. Small swimming pool, but ok.

I ve stayed here twice now and each time was excellent. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are extremely clean. Prices are very good for the location. Stay here if you like to support local businesses and value a personable experience.

*no carbon monoxide detectors* Do not stay here if you value your life!!!! I stayed here 10/18-10/21. They gave us an apartment next to the hotel instead of the room we booked. The day after we checked in, the owners came into the room without knocking saying the maid smelled gas in the hallway coming from our room. That was 20-30 mins after the maid came into our room without knocking. So we breathed in gas an extra 20-30 mins when the maid could have told us this or the owners could have come straight to us. The owners blamed me saying, they accidentally turn on their own gas on their stove all of the time and told the friend that booked the room that I turned the gas on. It was very strange to be blamed for something like that repeatedly. I explained to them I have had the same type of set up in my homes for over 18 years and I have never turned the gas on accidentally and if they do that in their home they should look into getting a new stove and I lectured them for not having carbon monoxide detectors in the room. We never used the stove and the smell traveled so far it must have been on the whole night we were there.They had an excuse for everything and blamed me over and over, I'm guessing because I was the only woman out of the 3 of us. They didn't apologize or offer any refund or discount. We had to make them change our room. They wanted us to stay in the gas filled room. They were the rudest most passive aggressive people I have ever been in contact with at a hotel/motel. I travel a lot and this is by far the worst I've ever been treated by any establishment. They could of killed us and our friend was sick the entire day from carbon monoxide poisoning. This could have all been prevented by a simple carbon monoxide detector and an apology goes a long way in customer service. If we would have lit the stove or clicked a lighter in the room we could have blown up. The owners acted like gas poisoning is no big deal. They said I did it probably 40 times. It was the most insane conversation I've ever had in my life. Please choose to live and do not stay here.

Older motel and in a not beautiful area at night. Room converted from an apartment, with full but rather dirty kitchen. I would have expected better to be in downtown Los Angeles. Breakfast included but we opted not to have it in the motel, it is in fact served in an adjacent room, only salty breakfast of poor quality. Only from the smell you could smell upon entering the restaurant could you imagine the amount of fat and grease that those mini burgers contain. Still quite convenient location and good price. But you can find better, for sure.

Did not enjoy this hotel. Staff not friendly and clueless. Room was minging. Breakfast was mediocre in a club down the road. Not recommended, use a last minute website and stay somewhere else!

great spot but dirty, but where is a clean spot in hollywood thats in my price range?? i would go again. parking was never an issue and the food next door was ok. the guy was super nice and let me change rooms, 2nd room was much cleaner.

Room complex with double beds has coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer. Breakfast is 50 meters from the complex, in a cafeteria.

The whole hotel has a very interesting layout, kinda like an appointment complex. Overall it was very nice and quiet place. Close to a liquor store and Starbucks.

Rooms are alright but please do not take rooms that are closer to the road.Hollywood Blvd is busy through out the day.These rooms aren't insulated properly and you will hear noise from vehicles all the night.

This cute little yellow motel was great for an affordable place to stay in Hollywood. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. The central courtyard surrounds the pool and the yellow/blue contrast and the pops of color with the plants is a charming combination. The room is a little less "fun" looking but everything was in good shape and clean. Bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it.

Very vintage, the room not very large. The whole structure is old. The rooms are clean but not very nice. Good location, near subway and not far from hungry Hollywood. Breakfast included in a local 10 meters away, breakfast with eggs, potatoes, hamburgers and slices of bread with jams.

They were from France and thought that mixing drugs and alcohol and having fight right outside our door is right way to carry on... shame on them

The front seat girl Charlie was very helpful. She knows the area well and is very friendly. Michael is awesome to. He is also, very nice.

Decent for what it is, an affordable motel near a metro station, grocery store, restaurants, and not a very long stroll from the walk of fame! Run down but clean, a decent place to stay if you're looking to be out exploring for most of your trip. Cute balcony. The breakfast is not much to boast about however.

Good hotel, good location, clean rooms.Small pool little exposed to the sun so cold. Breakfast is offered, you have to exit the hotel to take it and it's a short walk. Very good overall.

Don't let the pictures fool you. This place is dirty. I left the bathroom feeling even more dirty than when I got there. It's like nasty truck stop quality. Save yourself the money and go somewhere nicer

Simple, comfortable, cheap hotel, in the middle of everything and from which you can visit hundreds of historical places, it is nearby. To the subway so you move easily from there, on the street there are skateboards to rent so you can make your transfer fun

An absolute pleasure to stay here. After a long drive in we checked in very late, around 1AM. The staff was so friendly, answered our questions with a smile and gave us the scoop on the surrounding area and where to find fun stuff to do.

The room was spacious, very very clean and very very comfy!

I can't think of a single reason for this hotel to earn less than 5 stars. Great staff, great rooms, great location! A+++

This spot is a little run down but overall nice. The rooms are clean, hard wood floors, big TVs. For the price and location I'd def stay here again. Only main complaint is that their free breakfast ends too early. Who's done eating by 930

Absolute dirty and run down Motel. One point for the situation.

The rooms are not that great, the extra bed in the room is a fold down bed and hard as a rock the only air is in the main living room, the only TV is in the separate bed room! Will never stay at this motel again this is my first time in California.

Not worth the money. Paid full price for two nights, got stuffed in a crappy room in the unmarked building next door. Room was filled with furniture that looked like it was found on a curb. Location was further from tourist trap than expected. Not worth half of what I paid. Wouldn't recommend.

This is not a luxury hotel. The room is nice and breakfurst is ok . Good Coffee, scrambled egg, american panncakes, hsmburgers etc. And just 10 min walk to walk of fame

DO NOT waste your money here!!! First of all, we arrived a few hours before check in time and the lady at the front desk said it was fine on the phone and told us our room would be ready when we got here, however when we arrived the room was not clean. The bed had been made but there was hair in the sink and shower, opened soap bars that had been used laying everywhere. Consulted the front desk and they came and cleaned the room. The same night I noticed an extra $124 charge on my debit card that was not mentioned and when I consulted the man at the front desk he seemed very frustrated and did not want to deal with it and they did not give my money back, if I would have had the money I definitely would have left this place and found another hotel. Today I walked down to the front desk to ask for some towels in our room since there were only 2 in the bathroom when we arrived. The man at the front desk tried telling me to wait on maid service. When I told him we were out he said maid service would bring them to my room. I have been waiting for more than 15 minutes and no clean towels yet. I will never stay here again, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Close to lots of major attractions and downtown Hollywood. Clean and affordable. Definitely worth staying here.

A perfect motel in the middle of Hollywood! The rooms and prices are great. Breakfast quite good (scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, fruit, coffee, drinks vending ...). The metro stop is half a minute away. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and a drinks and snacks store is just opposite. Highly recommended!

Nice place but after I tried to check in with my reservation I explained the desk clerk that I have a digital copy of my DL on my phone and said since you're going to make a photocopy of it I can make the copy for you and send it over she replied she has to have the actual card and I said I'm obviously going to pay for the room with my debit card and the room had been paid for and that I was going to have a hard time getting a refund etc but she wouldn't budge and I had to call another cab and spend the night at my friend's place I think this is unacceptable I'm still trying to get a refund I worked as a concierge and every person I dealt with was so on an individual basis

This Motel is truly an architectural Landmark! room was very spacious, clean , best breakfast ever in the AM and the people working there are simply amazing. Neighborhood is so central!

Toilet pressure sucks. Deposit required. The amount of your stay is the deposit. Returned the day you check out. NO smoking rooms. You can smoke outside.

If you are looking for a dingy hotel, with walls where you can participate in neighbors' conversations with deplorable service or breakfast is served by shrek's wife then you have come to the right place I looked for positive points but it there is none because even the price is unthinkable
I did not use the pool because I thought it was the tub because it is so small.

Parking lot is tight, but is free. The room was clean , but somewhat dated. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I ve always stayed at large hotel chains, but lately I ve decided to try individually owned hotel/motels that have good reviews and have been pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the charm of this older, clean, centrally located motel. Give it a try!

Went to go pick up some friends at the hotel. The place looked clean and the man at the front desk was nice.

The owners of this place are fantastic! We booked our rooms last minute 2 nights in a row. They allowed us to check in at our convenience and then stored our bags for us as we went out exploring for day 2 days in a row. Very friendly with a very decent breakfast right near the action of Hollywood for a good price! Highly recommend!

Pretty friendly. Pretty clean. Pool looked not that inviting. But the place all in all was pretty cute for the price.

Pictures of the rooms are not accurate. The sheets were stained and the blanket had burn holes in it. The bathroom was so dirty, shower curtain was old and the tub was dirty. The headboard was broken on the bed just so bad that my friend and i left! We slept in our clothes for one night and left. I wouldn t recommend this to anyone!

It is a nice Hotel with a small pool close to a Metro Station. Because of a traffic light in front of the Hotel it was a bit noisy.

Was amazing! At the beginning, check-in easy and fast, secure parking. When we got to the room 204, the surprise was big, spacious, complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, a living room with a sofa, table and TV and the comfortable room. The breakfast is also included in the reservation, it is simple but sufficient and tasty, it has bread, eggs, sausage, wafle, potatos, coffee and juice, it is 2 doors away from the hotel and the guy who welcomes us for breakfast is good nice. About the location, it's great! Close to everything, shops, restaurants / fast food and tourist attractions such as the walk of fame. We love our stay and hope to be back soon!

Good quality for the price overall. Fairly simple, and not the most fancy neighborhood, but ideal for budget travelers.

This place looks like an old time 60s hotel, but the rooms are clean, spacious AND have almost a whole kitchen (no stove, but fridge, sink and microwave) it was worth every penny! And cheaper than most other hotels close by. Plus, free parking...which can be priceless!

I have a little boy with cancer. Ever since Covid hit we have been staying here one or 2 nights when we come to LA for him. I have always paid the same amount $60 and the room has always been decent. Well when I check out today I will never stay here again. Yesterday 3/22 when we checked in it was $157. The towels were dirty and nothing was in the bathroom. The sewage had backed up into the parking garage making all the rooms smell horrible on the inside. The still have not started giving their free continental breakfast again nor have they opened the pool. So what am I paying $157 for. ? Other than that the staff is great. But they just lost a monthly customer

Property owner, both husband and wife, are very friendly. For Indian guest the hotel is very suitable since the attached restaurant provided me the very good indian breakfast i.e. scrambled egg, veg rice, fruits, bread & jam... Sanjay Kundekar (Badlapur 421 503, Thane, Maharashtra)
