My daughter had braces on for the last year and a half. Therefore, we wanted to wait to get her senior picture made after her braces were removed. The school gave us extra time for her to get the braces off. But they did ask us to make a decision on a picture for the annual the day the pictures became available. My wife went to Holland that day and chose the picture without me seeing them. Because she ordered the picture and paid $225 for it, she was not offered the proofs to take home for me to see. I just went to Holland and spoke with a Terry Moore, who identified herself as a manager. I explained the situation and asked if I could get the proofs to see if I wanted to buy more pictures. I was talked to in a very condescending manner and she finished her comments with "Well, I can see this is going no where" and turned away. I seriously encourage any parent thinking of using this organization for any photograph that is important to the family to choose another photographer. I cannot imagine there is not one with better customer service.

We are fairly new to the Memphis area and were told that we needed to use Holland as our school's photographer for our senior. I can only say good things about my dealings with the studio. Our session ran on time and our photographer made my senior feel at ease and welcome. After our session was over the front desk was more than accommodating to get our proofs prepared for us ahead of schedule so we could meet the yearbook deadline. After bringing our ordered package of pictures home we were not happy with how the photo looked in the frame. I called and visited with them about my options and they happily offered to do some cropping and reprint the package at no additional charge. As if that was not enough when I picked the new package of photos up I forgot my sunglasses. Within ten minutes I received a call from them offering to mail them to me so I would not have to make another trip to their studio. It has been a very long time since I have had such outstanding customer service. Thank you Holland Studio for restoring my faith in good customer relations!

We had a great experience at Holland Studio! Taylor was our photographer, and he did a wonderful job! He made the experience so much fun for a teenage boy who ordinarily hates taking pictures. I would suggest him to anyone!

We booked a photography session at Holland Studios...

We booked a photography session at Holland Studios for my son's senior pictures, expecting only backdrops. We were astonished at the grounds - so many places for interesting photos. My favorites were the antique doors and the rocky stream. The photographer did and excellent job - we loved the photos, and the staff was very helpful!

Beautiful pictures and a comfortable and welcoming environment. I just had my third child's Senior pictures done here and I couldn't be happier with them. Gorgeous! Everyone is very nice and very helpful. I definitely recommend them.

I would like to leave my opinion on the most recen...

I would like to leave my opinion on the most recent review. I have been a reoccurring customer of holland studio for 3 years, and as an African American woman, the holland studio photography staff is far from being racist. Not once have I seen them show racism towards any African American customer, not to mention that they have blacks working apart of their staff. Referring to the part where you said that police were called; I just so happened to be there that night. Waiting to view my baby s proofs. I watched the entire thing happen, it was completely outrageous to act out that way and the staff handled in a very respectful manner. They were threatened and I would have reacted the exact same way. It just shows the ignorance for someone to sit here and try to put down this business when they ve done nothing wrong. Sad to say that this Is my last year at holland but I haven t regretted having my kids pictures made with them. Although, I must say they do have a few issues. considering the small space, they do need more proof rooms to view the pictures and I wish we were able to access our photos online. It would resolve a lot of conflicts within the studio.

Absolute worst. As a professional model, I know how it all works. Not all angles are going to work with everyone, and if you're already in a bad mood, other people that are in a bad mood do not make it better. Extraordinarily rude staff, poor photos, and ridiculous prices. It's a shame that they are the only place that take basic senior photos, and if you can take your pictures anywhere else, I would suggest doing so!

Unbelievably terrible customer service. Management was beyond rude, I am so disappointed and humiliated. I have never been treated with so much disrespect as a PAYING customer. Do not get your pictures done here, it is not worth it.

This poor excuse of school photography has monopol...

This poor excuse of school photography has monopolized our school for far to long. After years of receiving aweful pics of my kids, sometimes not even sitting yet, we are forced to pay for yet another photo sessions for senior pictures. The photographer refused to snap the pictures unless my son had an unnatural and awkward smile. The two photos that were not a complete waste of paper, time, and money were not even options for the year book. They why were they taken????? This company has outlived its ability to have a positive impact on our community. They stopped caring about capturing children in photos when they were taking mine- which was over 20 years ago.

Holland studio took pictures at my children's scho...

Holland studio took pictures at my children's school recently. When the proofs came back, I only received one of my daughter's proofs. I was told that the studio could not find her paperwork but she did take a picture. Upon calling the studio that evening to speak to someone regarding this matter, I got the receptionist who was very rude, unapologetic and not accommodating. She finally found my child's paperwork but told me I needed to come and pick it up. The other proofs were delivered to the school so I asked could they just send this one there also. She said no. I received no apology for the mix up, was not accommodated for the inconvenience of having to leave work to take care of this.

I went into Holland Studio to pick out which pictures to order. I had a wonderful experience with a very nice lady named Sheila Ray. She calmed a very sentimental Mom's nerves and helped us pick out all the pictures that we truly needed rather than just trying to sell us a package with more than was necessary. I couldn't have had a better experience! I have never left a review before online but I felt like I needed to in this case!
