I was staying at the Holiday Inn Orlando East - UCF Area for work and it was the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. There was an issue with my reservation when I arrived and the staff was helpful and courteous making sure things were resolved quickly. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. I highly recommend staying here.
Hotel itself is wonderful. I've already written a review, it's asking me to write another. The hotel is clean, the staff are amazing. The food and drinks from the bar and restaurant are very well made. Our only complaints are noise, both from outside and other guests.
Book late online and get a discount. Really big king size bed, very clean. Nice lobby.
The rooms at this hotel are probably the best I have ever stayed in and that is comparing it to Disney and other premium hotels in very popular areas. The staff and everybody that I met there was very nice and generous.

Very disappointing. Had to check out super early because the room was so filthy and the staff waited on their general manager Brandon Fragale who is not competent and will not even call you and do anything to resolve any problems. The room was unsanitary. The toilet which doesn't flush was disgusting and the peeling and chipping paint all over the bathroom ceiling is hazardous. The AC does not work and does not cool the room. Set at 72 degrees the room stayed at 80 degrees. The linens smelled and appeared to be unwashed from the prior guest. And don't even try to ask for a special accommodation if you have an injury or a disability because they will tell you the handicapped accommodations are for disgruntled guests who have serious problems in the room. Stay away from this nasty place.
First time at this location.. Gave us keys to the wrong room, no worries. Went to the desk,: all was corrected.. went to our event. Jessica was GREAT before and after the event!!!

A typical holiday inn- business conferences and business meetings are held here. It isnt for a luxury stay, just work work work. There are lounge areas and sitting areas.
Went for a friend's party. Staff was lovely, accommodations were good, food was average.
Overall okay. Customer service was good, but my tub faucet non-stop at hot as hell. Otherwise a good stay.

The rooms are nice and the staff is extremely helpful. We have stayed here with a large group of numerous occasions and they always take excellent care of our group. The hotel is reasonably close to UCF but it a long drive to Disney if that is what you are planning.
The worst experience ever.
I booked 2 connecting rooms, when I arrived the front desk told me I didn t book 2 rooms regardless I had an email that said different. Finally the manager John came out and said yes we over booked and since you are here with a group maybe you could put your kids in a room with someone else. Never in my life would I have imagined some one tells me to put my kids in a strangers room. When I said no he offered extra pillows and blankets.
They sent 2 sheets up to the room and said we are out of pillow, blankets and towels. They offered more advice and said use one sheet as a blanket and the second roll up to use as a pillow.
The second night they found a second room
Not connected or close to the other room but enough beds.
The second room had a broken air conditioner. That the maintenance man said need to be replaced. The air would run until it we got so cold and would wake up. We would turn off the air conditioner to warm up and wake up sweeting. When I
Saw John the manager he said rather then refunding me he would give me enough points for 2 free nights the next time I need them. I said ok
When I saw I never got the points I called and said I wanted a refund , he said no I will give the points .
I never got them.
I contacted customer service
They said the manager John said he refunded me for one of the 2 rooms the first night ..... the room he gave to someone else he didn t charge me for.
Also he then said he gave me a group discounted rate another lie
I booked the room with a group and paid the group discounted rate .
Nothing to do with the horrible experience.
I urge everyone to find another hotel to stay at.
The hotel needs to be updated and they will want you to pay regardless of all their errors . Worst they will make you promises and apologize and months later say maybe you miss understood.
If I could give a negative number of stars I would.
Again not only was the hotel terrible but the manager John is a con artist and tells you what ever he can just to make you happy but I assure you will not and did not follow through.
Clean and staff was friendly. For an Affordable place to stay it was great. Everything in this part of Florida is pricey so this was a good place for families. I would stay there again.

Been staying here for years for the company I work for my truck has been broken into twice and the owner does nothing about it every few months the hotel gets hit they smash and grab at least 10 vehicles everytime they have cameras but refuse to turn the footage to law enforcement

This hotel is always clean. Staff is friendly and it's definitely an added benefit to have a restaurant on location so after working all day, we don't have to leave for dinner.
The front desk crew were awesome. My problem is the sound coming from the street. Y'all need to put in "sound proof" glass. And, these certainly cannot be hurricane windows. We can hear every motorcycle, place cars chasing after cars. It is as though they are in our room. How can anyone sleep at night when your room is facing the road. The road noise and it is constant has given me a terrible headache. I cannot stay here again with all of the outside noise.
Lobby was beautiful. Rooms were nice. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Bathroom was dated. No free breakfast.
Decent Holiday Inn, clean, good staff, etc. Unfortunately my room overlooked the pool, and for some reason two drunk couples decided to have a loud swim at 12:30AM.
The restaurant and common areas are very nice. An interior bar is a fun place to watch TV and have a drink. The staff is very friendly. The rooms themselves are a little outdated. The beds are comfortable enough, but each room I've been in has had some issues. The AC didn't with very well, a button was missing on the thermostat, a light had been out (not fun when it's the entryway light and you don't know where you are going), and the carpet was worn through to the tack strip.

Such a beautiful hotel. The rooms were really nice, the kids enjoyed the pool area and the adults enjoyed the bar!
We had breakfast and dinner on site and the food was very reasonably priced and good. We didn t have a lot of interaction with the staff but the little bit we had everybody was very nice.
The hotel is located near several restaurants and stores, so it is very convenient. The lobby was very clean and was easy to navigate. I was there for a professional event, so I did not see any of the rooms.
Location is close to Waterford lakes area that has lots of amenities. Close to ucf too. Free printing in the lobby, and on site bar and restaurant. The rooms were clean and spacious. Will definitely stay at a holiday inn again.
It was a nice place to stay but they have issues answering their phones at customer service and the HBO started having problems on day two of staying there and they didn't get it fixed after I told them it was messing up, Other than those two issues it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable

Can't say enough nice things about it. The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The location was ideal. Our son moved into his apartment right down the street, attending UCF. The Black and Gold restaurant/bar had a nice breakfast, our server Kiara was great, great personality!

Rooms are updated and very nice. The restaurant is pretty good.. I am kinda wondering about how convenient the location is and the area of town it's in. Heavy traffic and panhandlers.

The staff was very accommodating for our very large group. The facilities were fantastic. Beautiful area, very close go UCF. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I'd happily stay there again if I'm ever in the area.
