Really bad experience on my second visit. I got there at 3am and there was no parking . There were 4 parking spots with cones by reception told me they were reserved... He told me to find somewhere out there on the surroundings... Place is very nice, but an answer like this, for what they charge... Upsetting...

Very nice location for food options. Rooms are clean. Only disadvantage, doors to hallway are very thin and if you like quiet, stay further from ice machine and elevator. Overall, good!
Hotel has onsite restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. However, with larger meeting groups lunch can be arranged. Clean rooms and decent room rates. Staff is revolving so service is fair. Good parking. Papa John's pizza just around the corner.
Update Sep 2019: My second visit was about the same. I wanted to add that this hotel is really set up for business travelers. So romantic getaways may be lacking. Higher floors have issues. For example, during this visit, elevators had issues, best I could get was luke warm showers, and housekeeping was minimal. Additionally, this hotel has many meeting spaces available for small to large venues. Shout out to the front desk! Mohammed was extremely helpful during setup, thank you!
Staff were friendly. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was great. You could get either free buffet or free menu item if you got it with your room. Rooms were not very sound proof and I found my tv on when I wasn't there and no one had been in the room itself. I think the remotes can change tv's in other rooms. Overall nice hotel and comfortable beds.
Bedbugs!!! Checked in to what appeared to be a typical Holiday Inn, first clue of what was to follow was a room that felt unclean, which we overlooked as our booking was one night. Then when we retired, there was unmistakable body odor on the pillows. It was late so one night of nasty we were going to try and live with. But not bedbugs; felt crawling on my skin at around 5am. Called front desk who sounded surprised, operator said he d never heard of this in 10 years. Eventually maintenance and housekeeping came in. They were on the defensive and downplayed the dead bedbug that I saved for them, in addition to a new swelling the size of a quarter on my forearm from a bedbug bite. Customer service was terrible, but they did give us the corporate contact to forward complain. If this happens to you, then you can read this review and see through their denials and gaslighting.
There was no hot water in the shower although there was hot water from the tap in the bathroom sink. Because of the recent change in my work schedule I travel to UCF area 2 or 3 times a month. I won't be staying at Holiday Inn again. If you have to stay at this hotel, don't stay in room 706
Great location in between all Orlando has to offer and Kennedy Space Center close to Daytona and Cocoa Beach
The hotel is actually great, the service is great, the staff the food the bar are all great. I have no complaints at all, restaurants, convenience stores and gas are a walking distance. Would recommend for anyone on and 1-2 night stop over.
By way of background: I stayed for two nights, on very short notice. The room and bathroom were not particularly clean. The windows do not open (for me that is an issue, for others it doesn t matter) and the beds were not the same quality I am used from other holiday inn s. Other than that, it was all fine. Small gym with weights, breakfast was good.
I was there for a holiday work party. The reception area of the hotel was nicely decorated for the holidays. The ballroom was very nice and the food that was catered was delicious. It helped to make for a great event.
Very nice hotel, it has restaurant inside, outdoor pool, and sala to reserve for weddings and parties, very nice atmosphere.
Continual room key issues daily; rundown hotel with a welcoming musty smell in the room. Do NOT use the heat. First visit to Orlando area, highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express down the road instead.
This hotel is one of the best in the area. The location is perfect for research park or UCF. It is newly renovated, and it shows! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are always clean. This is my hotel of choice when I am staying in the area!

As an elite member customer of this hotel group there are certain things I'm supposed to get, offered and automatic, like room upgrades and executive level floor when available, this hotel does not follow the protocol of the IHG group, when I stay at this particular hotel I never get, or even ask any of this things that should come automatically and when I ask them about my upgrades they make me feel like I'm asking for free stuff without deserving it at all, like I'm begging for this things, it's not the staff members fault it's the person who runs this hotel, they offer me to be in the executive level at a 30 dollar up charge, I said no, I spend on average 30,000 (yup that's 30 thousand) a year in hotels 90 percent of that with this hotel group how much more executive can I get and they try to up charge me, come on guy who runs this hotel, how money hungry can you be, need less to say as long as I can avoid this hotel I will.
Clean and nice rooms. No view due to location. Breakfast is not included. Would recommend it and stay there again if I have to be in that area, but the hotel is basic and if I could find something in the same price range with included breakfast or other amenities I would skip it.
Today, the Holiday Inn Orlando - UCF hoatrd the final luncheon of the year for the Central Florida Navy League.
It is always a pleasure being here for events. The staff is kind and professional. Our meals are always delicious and very nicely prepared. Thank you. See you next year!

I forgot to mention the room as the staff stood out so much. It was very nice, clean, comfortable, well decorated, and the pillows!, I loved them, I forgot to ask who is the company/manufacturer. The bed was perfect, not too soft nor too hard. I had a great night sleep, didn't move an inch. When I awoke, I had to remember where I was, as the whole experience was exceptional.
The lobby was nicely decorated.

Hotel was average from a hotel stand point, nothing stood out as above any beyond. My room was clean, the bed and pillows not so comfortable. They give you a breakfast that starts service at 630am, I had to be in the road at 630am so I was hoping to grab and go but it's a sit down breakfast only but I wish they offered some quick and easy stuff for those that work and have to hit the road early.
I was there to pick up a client. I drive for uber and getting in and out of the hotel and getting my guest was easy.
Had automatic lights that would turn on when you got up from bed. Love the little details like that. Not stubbed toes on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
4 stars for the room and price. The room was very clean and was great. The staff I encountered at front desk didn't seem as exciting as I expected. I'm sure there are some other great workers there. They weren't mean or rude they just weren't friendly like they didn't want to be there.
From check in to check out it was a delightfully enjoyable experience. Alaina warmly welcomed me into the hotel and informed me of the on-site restaurant where later that evening I was greeted by Omar and delivered a wonderful meal. Both Jonathan and Craig in sales were extremely helpful in local to-dos and the GM, Amber, followed up with me personally to make sure that I had enjoyed my stay. Definitely the place to stay when doing business on the east side of Orlando!
Very clean hotel. Lobby is gorgeous and staff was very helpful. Location was nice. There were many restaurants around and a very large theatre with IMAX. Since it was on the east side of Orlando, it was easy to go to the Kennedy Space Center as well as going downtown.
Only con was a poor fitness center. It was clean, but there were no sanitary towels and the equipment was falling into disrepair.
Overall it was a great hotel and I would stay there again.

It's a very nice and new feeling hotel. It had a good size mini fridge, microwave and the room was good size as well. My only complaints would be the doors are pretty thin sound-wise, and the internet was 5 up/5 down. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Did not repair dripping shower on request whole night it was making sound plus the road traffic sound not very good if you have low threshold for sounds to sleep , shower was giving extremely hot water and was forced to use it since front desk was helpless . Breakfast is paid about $13 per person and has very very limited and basic selection . Staff was good but had very limited capability like saying everything will be fixed after you leave

I was there for a sofial event and the room was kind of small and I wouldn't recommend this for a big social gathering maybe for an event with it 30-35 people. Other than that staff was friendly and everything else was good!
I got exceptional service from Shaleeza and Delainah. Hotel was very clean and centrally located ,to various stores and restaurants.

Lobby area is very clean and modern. Space is comfortable for several guests and baggage without too much cramping. Meeting space rooms vary. One rather large banquet hall and a very small meeting room not mention for more than a dozen. Choose wisely.
This is a very gorgeous location. You can definitely tell they take great pride in their business! Everything was impeccably clean, very up to date and comfortable. This was a very sporadic stay and we was happy with our choice even though it was a lot further away than where we need to be. (My fault lol) I most definitely recommend this location. The only thing in would advise the owners to change is to offer a continental breakfast!

This hotel should be considered as a 5 star because they have flipped out the whole hotel and it's real nice...it look like how holiday Inn use to be back in the days like the early 80s...
My daughter left her stuffed animal at this hotel on our vacation. I called a few weeks later and this is how her lamb was returned. Thank you Amber for taking the time to make a little girl extremely happy.
Amazing staff! Everyone at this hotel, no matter what time of day or night and no matter what area we were in was so nice.
We were greeted each time we came in and as we left, the front desk and dining staff were so nice...we felt so welcome.
This Holiday Inn is updated and very clean. We stayed five nights and housekeeping did a great job, our room was very clean each time we came back to it. I read the reviews before I came and requested a room that did not face the road and we had peace and quite all night long.
This was a nice surprise to see how well run and clean a hotel can be... a definite 5 Star Review!

Claudia and Jessica from the front desk are top notch front desk agents . This hotel is like family to me everytime I go they welcome me as soon as i walk in the door . Somebody give them a raise keep them they are jewels in this customer service world.
Not enough staff at front desk. Took forever to change room from 2 queens to 1 King.
My stay here was quite nice overall, staff are pleasant. Stayed in the King Superior room, which was a good size. Bed & pillows were comfortable, bathroom was clean with the usual amenities provided,the buffer breakfast was good value for money. Only drawback is the hotel restaurant, the quality of the meals (dinner) can be improved.

Stayed there when it was a Radisson years ago. It has been renewed by holiday Inn and they have done a great job. The whole facility is very nice. I especially enjoy the fitness room. This will be my go-to place whenever I'm in Orlando.
