Amazing service and employees. I called several days ahead and the employee over there was very helpful and honored a special for a suite room. The shower and room were well kept. I have paid as much or more for rooms that skipped on the details. In a very quiet area as well. Will definitely be staying there again when in town.

If you enjoy hearing stomping all night long, then this is the place for you. Hearing the constant beeping from the hallway was exceptional in its cadence and pitch. Also very pleased with paying $137 for a room with an intermittent A/C and no continental breakfast.

Absolute horrible service. First stay we were told to have a seat (we were the only people in the lobby), waited 20+ minuets. Finally got our room, bathroom was had mold all over.
After talking to the manager we were asked to give them a second try. So we did. Walked in the lobby (once again the only ones) asked to have a seat AGAIN! Someone else walked in, she helps them before us. 10 minuets later we re finally asked to check in. Horrible!!!! We will NEVER stay here again!

Fitness center is small and filled with a few pieces of equipment so there's not a lot of room if you're not on one of the treadmills etc. They have some things you can checkout and bring back to the Room though, like yoga mats and blocks.

I booked the Holiday Inn Houston Westway for a mini-Comic Con event which they hosted for 3 days. I have booked many hotels in the past including Hiltons and Marriots for this event and I have never received the service I received from the staff here at Holiday Inn Westway, many who worked on their day off just to make sure we were happy which we were. The manager Bob Kenyon, the General Manager Sylvester Bowden and the Food & Beverage director Ramiro Mejia were wonderful in bending over backwards to help with any needs we had. The front staff were great as well. From this point on, I will always look to book a Holiday Inn in place of the other hotel chains.

They allow busses to park IN the tiny parking lot. 20 spaces gone. We had to park elsewhere. Woman at counter could not show that she cared any less. Also I find it strange that at 2 am you can walk right in to the back pool door from the outside without a room key but to exit that way you have to have a key. That is a hug gap in security.

Worst stay ever. (A jazzy motel 6) Where do I begin between the musty smelling room, the noisy air condition that sounded like change had dropped in it , I had no cold water just hot, and my bed had a bloody pillow in it. So I had to share a bed w my daughter smh. I brought these concern to there attention and have yet to here anything back. Went through a third party that recommended this place and have already to reached out to them. Do yourself a favor find another place to stay.

It wasn't worth the $. The restaurant was closed but they had a conference room with some tables so they could serve food. I didn't feel comfortable sitting in that room so I went back upstairs and decided to order room service. I called down to order my food when I was done I was told they only had one server on staff and would have to go down to get my food. None of this is the servers fault in fact he was very nice it's a management issue they should always have two people on staff especially if they are serving alcohol. The front desk staff was not so great i felt that i was a waste of time to them. I originally had a reservation at another Holiday Inn property that had been overbooked so they sent me to this place. I expected at least a little nicer reception at the new place. That was not the case. After I got checked into my room I got my stuff and went up. The hallway carpet had looked like someone spilled a milkshake on it and was never cleaned up. I get to my room and open my door and was blasted with some kind of smell I can't even explain but it made me nauseous and gave me a headache. I was under the understanding that this was the only room available. So it knew that my only option would be to find yet another hotel and I really didn't want to go through that again. I took some headache medicine and stayed. Then that's when the whole room service thing happened. I went to the restroom and noticed the commode had a big chunk taken out of the lid to the tank not the biggest deal but for almost $200 a night I should have been fixed.

Located near just about anything you could need. The pool was empty besides my family, though we had to wait until 8pm to use it. The room was nice. Cosmetically it could use some upgrades, but nothing terrible. One drawer had to be taped shut since it kept opening on its own. Also the sink faucet overshot the edge of the sink when turned on full blast.

While booking it showed complementary breakfast (through Priceline) and when we asked for it, they denied and the price in the resturant was very high. Really non professional approach.

I was parry of a team giving a test to about 30 people. The conference room was adequate and comfortable. However, there was another function going on in the next room which was noisy and distracting to some of the test-takers (we were divided by a partition) . It couldn't be helped, and they were a bit quieter after having someone let them know they were being too loud.

If you want to save money, don t eat breakfast there.I thought they got complimentary breakfast as what it shows when I booked it.Ended up we got to Pay 34 bucks for 2.The woman from the restaurant seems unhappy, can t even give a simple smile. The Cleaner can t even smile or look at you.You can t feel that you are their guest.Infairness to the Room,it was really clean.

Lots of issues with the building. The staff tried but A. C. was out in my room and several other people that were in my group. I can see not knowing that one room's A.C. wasn't working but not knowing about 6 or so. I doubt that. There were other just little stupid thing that you think would be common sense like every drink vending did not have water. It was all just sugary sofa on every floor. Come on, this Houston its hot.

This holiday inn is on the back-end of recovering from Harvey. The restaurant is newly re-opened, and while some people might find a mostly empty restaurant to be disquieting, having a mostly empty restaurant that is quiet enough for me to enjoy a meal in peace without blaring music or 15 conversations trying to drown out a quiet conversation is something hard to find these days.

The restaurant food is fairly typical hotel restaurant fare, but the chef is meticulously attentive to detail with preparation - vegetables can be oversteamed, understeamed, or inappropriately seasoned, and the steamed vegetables in this restaurant are worthy of a Michelin star restaurant.

There are fresh cookies available each night for check in, and while the spa is still out of commission for repairs, the pool is heated, in magnificent shape and maintained very well - I've been swimming each day.

My room needed a maintenance call when I checked in because a drawer wouldn't close and the office chair was on its last legs, but they were replaced promptly, and the hotel manager slipped a "free drink in the lounge on the house" under my door by way of apology. I took up the offer and the bartender/server Daniel made an exquisitely impressive Bloody Mary for me - bit of hot sauce, bit of pepper, his personal flair of A-1 and lime.

Its conveniently located across the street from GE Houston HQ, so its a business hotel, and I'm grateful that there was a complete lack of screaming children and drunken college / young adults.

I'm a rabidly loyal Hilton member, but this Holiday Inn is giving my Hilton membership a run for its money.

These hotels are telling peoples their pools are open but when you get there from another state you have no choice but to accept the room. If you call thinking about going swimming make sure you get name of person who said the pool was open.
