I had good hopes in this hotel, a very good price is about 40min from downtown 1 block from beltway 8, it is in a very nice area full of very quiet trees, a lot of office around (luckily they touched me on vacation they tmb ), area full of trees, but if you go down 3 blocks to the center the area begins to be a little more modest, good parking, indoor pool, the best staff, super advisable to get there would definitely return ...
Mikintosh was the best front desk personnel I've ever experienced. I may be incorrect in the spelling of this gentleman name so I offer my apologies in advance. However, the quality of promptness, courtesy, and accuracy performed by him need no apologies but be rewarded and recognized!
Now the hotel itself had a very modern day feel. The smell hits you of aromatherapy scents and ambience. The room cozy and clean. The proximity to stores, restaurants, and the interstate.
Love, love, love this hotel and would've given them 10 stars if I could! Me being from Florida where the pride of life is the hotel's and amenities. Houston, TX you got them beat! Keep doing what you're doing. It is working very well and this guess appreciate it!!!

The hotel was undergoing renovations so there was no access to the fitness center or restaurant but I didn't plan to use either. The staff was very accommodating and the room was spacious. I would probably stay again.
Good place. They where remodeling so no pool and food was served in the conference area. When they have a event you have to eat in your room

The Sporting News Grill had a really good beer selection and attentive staff. The fries were pretty good, as well.

Had an incredible nights sleep. The room was so clean and comfortable and the staff were so welcoming. And the price couldn't be beat!
Restaurant went from good quality lunch food to garbage quality cafeteria food for the same price. Buffalo chicken sandwich went from real chicken strips and fresh cut french fries to frozen hockey puck chicken "tenders" and fries.
If you used to like this place for a quick lunch, find another spot.
We were not happy on this stay. Went into the room and the heat or air didn t work. Staff took an hour to come check on it. Never mentioned anything about pool being closed when we booked. Staff wasn t very friendly. Room was good and clean though.

Great hotel and staff.. what ill never understand as a business traveler flying every week is why does almost every hotel bar close at 10pm? When its our only escape from the day to day business of our life... last call is 2am but hotels close the bar at 10? Why not 11 or even 2am its sad the hotels dont get why we as travelers need more access and time to bars. Its our only release while traveling. And have to uber to another location when we could spend that money at the hotel rather than search for a other location that is open off property. As a example my bar tab at another property was $235.00 what if the hotel got that times 5 or more every night? Its a revenue they are losing every day. Id never ask or suggest my company give that profit up. #stay open later . Give us a light for the end of our day.. business travelers are your biggest income.. dont short us.

A/C in room not working properly, the internet is terrible when it's saturated. Screen in room, old and 720p. It's a nice hotel, staff friendly. But It has been left out lately needs more maintenence.
salt water pool, comfortable beds, very nice and spacious rooms mkae this hotel a choice place to stay, especially with the moderate price range.
The Jacuzzi was not working....which was the main reason I choose this place.but service was great and parking was not so bad.....the hallways are loooong and there is only one elevator.but I would still come back.I will definitely call to check if the hot tub is working.....I just can't enjoy the indoor pool without also warming up in the hot tub,but that's just me.
I sent a package to my boss (we work in food sales) via FedEx and it delivered to my boss after he had already checked out. The front desk made sure to reach out to me to let me know as well as print out a new label for me as I scheduled a FedEx pick up. It was so nice to have such great customer service, even after checking out.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I didn't sleep until 5am from people screaming in the hallway fighting to the room upstairs and to the side everything was just so loud I tried telling the morning front desk person and he didn't care DO NOT STAY HERE
Nice hotel but the shower looks like they took it from a budget Super 8, really needs upgraded.
BEWARE - Staff is not helpful in assisting it's customers with cancellation of reservations due to extenuating circumstances. DO NOT book a reservation at this hotel if your plans are not 100% in stone because you will end up paying 400$ for a hotel stay that you cannot use.
Our stay was made enjoyable by the amenities available at this Holiday Inn. They have an all-day restaurant where the chef cooks delicious & flavorful meals. Lunch is buffet style with a different themed menu for each day. (Ana at lunch and Daniel who serves at dinner stand out from the waitstaff because they give 5-star service.) Another convenience is their 24-hour gym; it's small but it has all one needs to get a good workout. The indoor pool & jacuzzi is right next to it and looked inviting. The business center was very useful; it has 2 newer computers connected to a color printer that worked nicely. The spacious lobby has an appealing design and offers a relaxing place to sit. They also have a shuttle that can drive you around. Rooms are clean and, as expected, beds are very comfortable. Parking is not a problem at all. The manager and hotel staff are nice and willing to serve.

Awesome TriAthlon way point. The establishment is clean and the folks are great. We stay here every time we have a TriAthlon on this side of town. Disregad all negative comments as a competitors feable attempt at driving your business elsewhete. This Holiday Inn serves the chain proudly and honorably.

Best hotel iv ever been too. Great service, wonderful food and the cleanest rooms iv ever experienced. All those people telling you the food is terrible and there are bed bugs, THAT'S A BIG LIE. If anything the bed bugs are in that persons house. I have not been disappointed with this place at all, iv been here for two weeks and I have one more week, I would'nt trade this place for anything else. When I come back in February, March and May this will be my spot.

Stayed here on a business trip to Houston. I wasn't able to make it to the hotel until around 10 but the staff was still super helpful and kind. Room was nice and overall environment very professional. Only thing that could improve is for room service to deliver past 10 PM.
The breakfast was probably on the list for the worst one I've seen. The eggs were discolored and mushy. The gravy looked awful. Even the French toast was bad in flavor and dry... Some of the bacon didn't look like it was cooked, while other pieces looked over cooked. Oh yeah, it's also $12 a person...
The room was nice and the bed was comfy, but it just felt like the breakfast weighted down the stay...
Location is close to work, rooms are clean, sheets seem a bit thin but it is Houston in the summer (although with the AC the rooms are very cool). My reason for 3 stars is for the unacceptably slow WiFi and the lackluster breakfast options. Using the WiFi was an exercise in frustration as my devices continually failed to load simple websites and pictures, interrupt streaming services etc. I have not used the WiFi for business yet but I can imagine what may happen hosting a meeting off of the service - being a business hotel I would expect this to be better. The breakfast is an expensive buffet with pretty poor options (Almost $10 for some fruit, pastries and cereal). The menu is limited but decent.

Let me tell you about this Holiday in. I cannot stress how awesome my experience was here. They are well organized and very personable. One of the general managers Sylvester didn't even need to be there to greet us but made sure he checked on how our event we hosted was going. He as well as director of food and beverage Ramiro were tracking us down to hand us bottles of water to make sure we stayed hydrated in a room packed with people. It's kept very clean and all the staff I met while there from the bartender to the front desk staff were friendly and hard working. They even took it upon themselves to direct traffic for our event to help out. Then you have Bob who is one of the most hilarious and awesome guys I've had the pleasure of working with. This guy had several days off, all of which he came in for just to help us out in whatever capacity he found he could. There was also Matt and Will who also helped us out randomly as they could and these guys were just as awesome!

Nice rooms but no vending machines, no microwave, and the restaurant is closed.
I was very pleased with my stay, especially after unexpectedly receiving a double bed room. The rooms were very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. This location had some of the softest towels I have ever used in a hotel.
Also, my husband and I overslept and were late checking out. We simply signed up for IHC rewards and were allowed to check out at noon with no extra charge. I really appreciated the staff being so kind to grant us that reward perk so quickly, and to put points towards our rewards program.
I did not explore the entire hotel because our stay was rather short, only 2 days, but it is located in a very beautiful part of town and close to a wonderul vietnamese store with great bahn mi and boba teas. I would defintitely recommed this Holiday Inn location and stay again.
