Water slide in the pool area is only open on certain days so minus a star for that.
Other than that, it wad clean and pretty comfortable. No free breakfast.
Nice room. Responsive staff. Ate at the restaurant. Fish was excellent but the chef needs to find a new recipe for the potato pancakes. The ones served to us were inedible.
This is a very typical convention center hotel. It was easy to get to with large banquet room and several smaller rooms for breakout sessions. Seems like a great place for any training convention. I didn't see the pool, but understand it was pretty nice.
i liked it but it would be better if the water slide was always open
The location was in an okay, service was kind of snobby, it was probably bad timing to check into a place that was under construction (which I was never told about upon booking the room). Housekeeping did an adequate job on the room, nothing to be tipped for though. I suggest the Holiday Inn Express right next door if you need a room to sr in for a few nights.
Great rooom! Service was above and beyond. Our banquet in a conference center was amazing. Staff was prepared. Food tasted grades.
We arrived before our banquet and had reserved a room through the event. We thought we had a reservation for a king bed + pull out couch as we had 2 adults & 2 kids. When checking in I was asked how many of us staying in the room, which I answered 4, 2 adults & 2 kids. The front desk was prompt and professional asked how many keys I wanted, & gave us 4 wristbands for the pool/waterside area. We went to our room on the 3rd floor walked in & realized it was a king bed with a chair, no pull out couch. We quickly went back to the front desk and I explained the room only had a king bed & there were 4 of us on the reservation. She said that's what you reserved, to which I said I believe it stated king bed with pull out couch, that is the room I reserved online as I knew there would be 4 of us. She said well we do have some rooms like that. Thankfully she said there had been a cancellation so she could move us to another room, but that they were fully booked. The good news is we were able to get a king bed & 2 bunk bed room which worked great for us, had it not been available I'm not sure what would have happened. I booked through their website with my IHG rewards club membership and even prepaid. We enjoyed the rest of our stay, and I found the bed comfort to be excellent. We will most likely need to book here again next year for the same event, I'll try to call and confirm my room with someone hopefully who actually works at this particular hotel. We also stopped in at the bar after our event with friends & family and I found the bartenders to be very good.
The service was very good. Was attending a game convention. Cold water was always available, and the lunch offered by the hotel was delicious and satisfying. All in all, a pleasant experience.

The location was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and super helpful. The room was huge with one of the comfiest beds that I've slept on in a long time. Also the shower had great pressure and a shower head with multiple options.

The convention center is pretty nice. Lots of room for events. Hotel rooms are nice too but the pull out couch mattresses aren't great.
The hotel was very easy to find. It was clean and confortable. The staff at the front desk was friendly and funny! I had no issues with my room. I also went to the connected restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was delicious!
This is a well appointed and updated Holiday Inn with a good restaurant attached.
However, the last 2 times we stayed here the over powering smell of sewer gas made it almost unbearable.
This was especially true and worse on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but the smell was really everywhere.
Staff was not able to explain the cause on either occasion. Our kids ended up feeling sick because of this and since there was no explanation , we would probably not stay here again.
I would also point out that like all Holiday Inns they do not offer continental breakfast... but most Holiday Inns I have stayed at do offer coffee and tea free to guests in the lobby .
This location for whatever reason scurries away the cups and does not offer coffee or tea after 10am.
If you ask they will tell you where you can find the cups but remind you that its not something they offer after 10am.
Overall, not impressed.

Nice look, horrible staff. Jessica is a super mean and power hungry lady. Came in for an interview and couldnt remember the name of the lady I was supposed to interview with. Ten minutes after that the director of housekeeping came to tell me that she didn't want to "waste her time" with me because I couldn't remember who i was supposed to interview with (we're all human, I forgot one person's name I've never met...not to mention, a concussion i had last year left me disabled and im unable to access much of my short term memory, not that it mattered to her)..and she said for two i was 4 minutes late after being pulled over because my blinker went out and had to stand behind several guests checking in... she looked me up and down very rudely and told me we were wasting each other's time again and when I tried to explain myself she gave me a nasty look and spoke over me and then shooed me out of the hotel...this is how the people there treat you if you're not paying them big bucks to stay in their overpriced rooms. I seriously felt so judged and disrespected and insignificant. I'm not mad they wouldn't even interview me, to be very clear I was upset because of the way she treated me and the sense of superiority she used to act like she was better than me..I wonder if she knows her position title lol...
Very, very disappointed! We booked here on the basis that they had a"waterpark" for our kids! We paid $120 to stay here based on this ADVERTISED amenity; Only to get here to find out the SINGLE WATERSLIDE is only open on the weekend...Friday evening through Sunday early afternoon. What a SCAM! When we presented to the kid who was working at the front desk he cpuld careless, his response was well it's on OUR website..we can't control what 3rd party websites don't list. So I went on "their" website....the only thing listed is buried in tiny print it states height restrictions & limit hours may apply.

It's a convention center... Large room with inoffensive colors. There's either no sound system or the wedding expo chose not to use it.

The Holiday Inn in Stevens Point hosted the WORS racing season banquet. We spent the evening to avoid a late drive home and to relax. The hotel was clean, comfortable, had all the right amenities, and a friendly staff. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed both the pool area and fitness room. Seems like a great place for a banquet, conference, wedding, or weekend getaway.

Clean, quiet, wonderful restaurant (surprisingly super affordable), friendly staff, nice lobby space, great workout room, and nice indoor pool (caution the slide is SUPER fast and the life guard spent most of his time outside smoking).
It is a very fine hotel, and the Convention center is very suited to our event.
While attending a conference and trying to check in today the individual at front desk was rude multiple times to customers. Certain customers were able to get rooms ahead of check in time. While waiting in the lobby this staff member stated he hated to answer calls about reservations already made. Then after a delivery same staff member stated his day has been so bad because people keep asking to check in and check in is not until 3 p.m.
I went to use the swimming pool with my 3 kids. I was super impressed! It was cheap, there were pools of varying depths so my kids could all participate. There was a tiny frog slide & a basketball hoop & a big slide for weekends. It was super clean and nice!

This was my first trip to Wisconsin on business & I loved this hotel. The reason for three stars was housekeeping. I stayed for four nights & they only made my bed ONCE even after I complained! The front desk did offer to take $10 off of my room for the rest of my stay, but of course there was yet another issue. I went to get ice & discovered my ice bucket was dirty! I took it to the front desk to complain AGAIN about housekeeping & the agent told me she couldn't give me a new bucket, but she could wash it for me! I agreed & went to get ice, but the next day housekeeping left the water in the bucket & laid a new liner on the counter next to it AND didn't make my bed AGAIN!!! By this time I had had it & called the front desk to which a nice young man brought me a voucher for breakfast. Overall, it was a really nice hotel, but housekeeping left A LOT to be desired!!!
Have been here multiple times and the experience was always great. Many little children made it difficult to enjoy the hot tub, though.
Great TV, the AC was extremely cold and kept us cool all night. The bedding didn't appear comfortable at first, but I was surprised how well it feel and I slept. Clean, great amenities, and friendly people up front. This was an enjoyable stay!

A very nice place except for the open candles at our tables for supper. Open candles (not enclosed) have been a Fire Code violation for a very long time.
Very poor experience trying to book a pool party for my son.
I originally spoke with Ed, who assured me they do not fill up fast and that it would be perfectly fine to call back later that day to pay. Which I did, and could not reach him (for a week) before someone eventually told me he only works ONE day per week.
I was then told this lady Jessica can manage the pool party schedule and she worked most days, yet she NEVER returned any of the multiple messages I left her during a week long period.
I would never try this hard or long with a business who s customer service is so terrible, but my son was very excited to have his birthday here.
When I finally reached Jessica today, she told me it was booked, in fact the entire month was booked. She was unapologetic and uninterested in hearing why I was upset about this.
I am very unhappy with my experience. Jessica was rude and unresponsive to voice messages, the front desk staff either didn t know Ed only worked once a week or else didn t think it was important to tell me (and apparently neither did he), they also sent me to the wrong voicemail at least once (that I know of).
The convention center is well lit, temperature was great, plenty of bathrooms and the staff are courteous and polite.
it's easy to get in and out of the parking lot and parking is ample.
What a great place for meeting or training.

I did not stay at the hotel as I only had a couple hour commute, however, the conference area was very nice. Plenty of room to meet the needs of the various classes offered as well as the vendors tables. Everything was very clean, lunch was provided and the staff did a great job at flipping the room over for the next events. There was also coffee and water out for us to have throughout the entire day. I would highly recommend this conference center.
Seemed clean but small rooms and for $177 a night should at least have a continental breakfast and it was very loud all night from rooms next door And people yelling in hallway from pool till 11pm, Won't stay here again.
Went there for the pool, it was nice bc it had basketball hoops but there was no deep end and the slide was closed on the weekend? C'mon man

I was there for a large dinner meeting . . . The supposed steak for the entree was so tough, it could have been mistaken for a 30 year old chunk of overcooked horse.

We spent Thanksgiving here last year and this year. My dad made all arrangements and informed staff that my husband was disabled and used a wheeled walker. The staff suggested we come early so we arrived at 10. The food was freshly put out and staff very warm and welcoming. We got up to get our food at the buffet and Laura asked my husband if she could help him at the buffet fill his plate so I could get my own meal. Her random Act of Kindness filled my day with Joy. Laura checked back in with our table several times while we were there. What a wonderful staff member providing excellent customer service. Tia was our waitress who was also very kind and cheerful for the holidays. We will be coming back.
Have visited for confronted and events. Building is clean, and staff has always been professional.
Nice place the life guards on duty were a joke there were 2 17 year old boys yelling at the kids judging by the way the lifeguards looked I doubt if it ever swim a lap in the pool did not feel safe with my children being watched by 2 kids for life guards who look like they should be sitting on a couch eating Cheetos playing Halo
Everything was very nice. Rooms were great and the kids loved the pool.
Very good location for a meeting, lunch was roast sirloin and salmon with all the fixings. The meat was season and was very tender.
I come usually three times per week just to swim & enjoy their hot tub/water basketball course. Clean/Immaculate facility!
