While staff was apologetic, this was the WORST hotel stay I've ever encountered. We had 2 rooms. One wasn't even CLEANED first, and we are in COVID! Empty water bottles, used soap, and HAIRS in the bed. A half of a roll of toilet tissue per room. Paid $100 a room for the pool/slide, and it was closed. After being put in incorrect King room, we got our whirlpool room...and the whirlpool would NOT TURN OFF. And there were TOENAILS on the edge of the tub!!! Had 5 charges to my account for the 2 rooms, and had to deal with THAT. A neighboring room had toilet issues, and a bucket, plunger, and POO sat in the hallway for over an hour!! Vending machines were joke. They just took money without giving product. VERY disappointing to pay $220 for a night of stress. Maybe all COVID related??? Hard to tell, but I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Amber grill has great food and a friendly staff, rooms are nice, well maintained
Had my wedding here. It was awesome. Great service.
Bathroom very dirty, and Amber Inn was very expensive
The rooms were very clean and the only gripe I had was eventually there was no more parking
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean bathrooms
Room was not cleaned and sheets and pillows were dirty. Notified front desk who spoke with manager. Never heard from manager. Stay in this hotel at least twice a month.
Working with a 3rd party company who has a contract with Hampton inn, in stevens point
Staff was very friendly. The pool and hot tub were very disgusting also the hallways and elevators were nasty. Restaurant and Bar were awesome. Room was ok.
Rooms were outdated for the price. Everything was under construction and did not let us know. They had no continental breakfast. They also charged full price for the rooms dispight all of the issues. Staff was unfriendly and the waterslide was only open on the weekends.
Called the night before and wanted a certain type of room and the front desk Clarissa was able to arrange all our needs at the last minute! She was wonderful! Our whole experience was great one of the best night sleeps I ve had in a while, will be back!!
Decent place for an event. Rooms are big. Typical event buffet breakfast food, nothing special. There was a lady changing toilet paper in the event women's bathroom early in the morning. Why were they not prepared the day before?
Well-stacked and nice attendants, but the restrooms were Not clean
The rooms were clean, decor was well done, food was tasty, and perhaps the most important is that the beds & pillows were very comfortable. I will come back should the opportunity arise.
Nice size rooms with plenty of space to stretch your legs.
Was a standard conference hall. Could not have asked for too much more. Walls were a little thin between sections.
Nice hotel. Extremely understaffed and they need training. Refrigerator had a science experiment in it we had to clean up. Toilet seat was broke off the bottom. Rooms did not get restocked. Asked multiple times to.get toilet repair with no luck.
Very nice and affordable. Highly recommended. Super clean, quiet, no smell. Bad was very cozy and conferrable. A+++
Walking in, the first thing that you notice is the general feeling of comfort and are welcomed by the person at the desk who usually has a smile. Beautiful lobby, great rooms, the beds can sometimes be too soft but overall amazing.
Overpriced with paper thin walls - complained of noise in rooms next to ours 3x in one night. Horrid experience, not worth what we paid per night - outdated and my honest son complained it smelled badly
We stayed overnight while attending a wedding in town. The rooms were very clean with more amenities included than most higher end hotels. There were in room safes, microwave, small refrigerator and Keurig coffee makers with coffee. We would definitely stay here again.
Terrible experience with reservations. Going to this hotel for a wedding and they were not helpful at all. Would not give a wedding block discount even though several rooms were still open.
Should have asked for a room further away from the elevator. Could hear the elevator, bell, and people talking all night long. The room was very small for a 2 queen bed room. Other than that it was a very nice hotel.
Very fast check-in, close to shopping and restaurants. Pool area was crowded at times.
Everything was great! Had to wait for our room but the front gave us beverage vouchers...again...great service at the bar n grill located inside
While attending a convention, our rooms were promised to be
ready by 3 PM. We were NOT able to get in to our room until
7:30 PM. We were not the only ones this happened to. There
is 150 rooms and with 300 attendees at the convention, this
is very bad customer service. This is unacceptable.
The Hotel is very nice, but they need to get more help when
there is a convention there.
The main representative at desk today was assistance to my wife and son who was in great need do to the power outage. If her certain medicine is not kept cold it becomes ineffective. The lady at the desk was so kind to my wife. I am in Iraq and had no way to help her. But this angel lady working at Holiday Inn front desk helped her without a second thought. No words describe my thanks to you dear lady for possibly saving my time wife's life. Many thanks. Inshallah
Room was clean, however we booked our room and paid for 2 queen beds. Got there and there was 1 king bed for us. Not going to work for 2 adults and 2 kids. A rollaway bed was brought in for 2 older kids, not large enough so requested a second rollaway. Just wasn't very practical for what we paid for. Also, in the water park area the life guards were sitting on their cell phones watching videos with their feet propped up on a chair not even paying any attention to the pool area they were supposed to be watching.
I attended the WPW show, it was very nice. They had a little bar which was nice but a little pricey.
I've never had a bad stay at a Holiday Inn and this is the case here as well. The lobby is really nice and there are plenty of rooms to fit your individual needs including King suites or rooms with bunk beds for kids. This hotel is connected to the Convention center. The room I stayed in was near the lobby as well as connected to another room, so it was loud at night and in the morning. It was a fine stay overall.
Note: Did not go to the pool or experience any breakfast (not sure if they have a continental or not).
My stay has been excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything was as expected from front desk hospitality to great food at the restaurant.
The convention center was clean and staff was fairly attentive but the food quality and ambience could use improvement
Solid convention center with good amenities and the Amber grill is good to have right there
Terrible place to stay rooms are very hot to stay in breakfast is terrible just terrible
I attended a work meeting there. The staff and facilities are top notch, the did is usually pretty good too. We were provided with coffee and then a buffet lunch of a few varieties of pasta and sauces. The desserts with lunch were great!
Very clean and accommodating, the room was large and worked well for what we needed
They let us check in early which was nice. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was expensive and not good. Pool slide not open hours said it was.
Just rented a room for the night and we all had a blast
Great meeting space, nice clean rooms, very comfortable beds, very good restaurant on site and friendly staff.
Attended an event here 2 years in a row. Excellent staff, clean rooms. Only downside is no breakfast. But the on site restaurant has reasonable prices.
Attending a wedding reception. The venue was great but the steak dinner was raw.
Nice enough, but the housekeeping staff did not stick coffee, tissues or toilet paper for some reason
Very nice conference center very accommodating. Wi-Fi in the conference center was marginal.
Very helpful people at the front desk and a great place to host a convention for 100 people or so.
Setup was nicely displayed, waitstaff was excellent, food was great also.
Nice and clean rooms. Minor updates were needed to the bathroom. Otherwise still a nice place to stay.
Lovely!! We booked through the phone which takes you to a booking location not the actual location. They booked us in a king suit but when we arrived it had bunk beds and a king bed. We where expecting a king with another room or something. So we told the front desk and they moved us to a king whirlpool room and took money off. It was appreciated. The front desk girl was great and helpful.
Good stay. Rooms clean. Pool area not great, disigned more for little kids.
Convention rooms are nice and spacious. Overall nice looking center.
Clean rooms, not very good complimentary breakfast at the Amber Inn though
We were there for a sportsman banquet. Food was food. Atmosphere was good. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible.
They just held Breakfast with Santa ! the Employees at the Holiday inn Express were Angel's and My Granddaughter Had the time of her Life
Very nice room, pleasant attentive staff, restaurant has real good food.
The nicest place to stay in Stevens Point. Beautiful lobby and convention center.
Great facility. Very friendly staff. Super clean rooms. Huge convention hall.
Nice convention center. Big rooms, clean, well setup. We had a very good experience at the convention we were attending. Nice on site bar and grill s well.
Newly furnished and helpful staff. I've never been disappointed in the hosting of events.
