This is the second time I ve stayed here and the staff is amazing!
From the crew that cleans, to the front desk associates, hands down the best place to stay in San Antonio. It s just clean! Everyone is friendly and informative. I will be back to San Antonio often and I ll stay here every time!!!

Water is money, accommodation does not include breakfast, you can consider sending at least one bottle of water.

Our family stayed at the Holiday Inn Northwest in San Antonio as a hotel partner for SeaWorld. We had the best service there including the shuttle van which was a great amenity since the parking lot is so large. We were brought to the main entrance and picked up when we called within minutes. The hotel staff was very friendly and quickly responded to our needs. I couldn't get the TV on but they sent someone up to get it for me. Also had a light out in the foyer area and it was replaced when I called. Beds were comfy and clean smelling. The indoor heated pool was nice as well as the outdoor one had an area for smaller children that wasn't deep at all. I loved this since I have a toddler. There was a hot tub also next to the pool. Towels were provided. The restaurant had a good breakfast buffet with a lot of variety where the kids ate free when I mentioned that we were quests at the hotel. I had to fill out a card for that. I would recommend this to my friends.

It was fairly easy to get to, the lobby was clean and quiet, the restrooms were also clean. I was there for a sales presentation, the atmosphere was not too cold and we weren't interrupted by other guests or staff ever, which was nice.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I come to San Antonio. There are other hotels in the same chain but this one best one by far. On this trip, I accidently checked into a Holiday Inn not too far from this one and was ready to transfer as soon as I walked in their room. I didn't stay but just long enough the make reservations at this Holiday Inn.

I checked in late in the evening you would expect the room to be clean for the money you pay. The bed looked like it had just been done they didn't replace it with clean sheets (had a lot of small hairs). The carpet wasn't even vacuumed you could see crumbs and a dead insect. The restroom shower was dirty and AC unit was completely dirty with a lot of lint or dust. I had to call to get my room serviced that night while being completely exhausted. They fixed everything but it shouldn't have been like that.

A very nice hotel conveniently located to amusement parks, health facilities, and easy to traverse to the downtown area tourist sites.

Class A hotel in my book. They have a restaurant and bar, indoor pool, gym, clean room, friendly associates to answer any questions.

Visit has been ok.
Update: I am beyond annoyed. Just about every time we leave and come back our key cards don't work (no the cards aren't next to my phone). Nobody seems to care and its poor customer service blaming me. I can hear the people next to me like no tomorrow. I can't connect to the internet, it keeps kicking me out. They have yet to fix this. The AC unit never turns off. We have to turn it off. And our TV keeps turning on by itself.
Only good things; breakfast staff is great in the restaurant. Shuttle to Sea World is convenient, granted... the drivers aren't very sociable and its awkward.
I don't find this hotel to be worth what we paid and I don't think will be coming back since nobody bothered to help in fixing any of these issues.

Great service. Albert in the grill was a friendly and caring waiter. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Every other holiday inn I have been to offered free breakfast. Not this one. No coffee in the lobby either.

This hotel is good (at best) , i am forced to stay at his hotel for buisness. To start i would recommend cleaning up your dirty clothes ahead of time because room service will put stuff in drawer or suitcase. Room service doesnt always give you fresh shampoo/conditioner. the restuarant is way over priced, dont get the chips and salsa they are almost always stale...... also the fiesta potatoes are always mushy in the buffet. I ordered the buffalo wings and it looked like they were sitting in the freezer way to long......

Great location and beautiful hotel. Just needs some tidying up when it comes to new guests. The TV remote didn't work and the comforters needed to be changed. But it was a good experience overall for the price.

Made it to the room and nothing worked. Lights didn t work, phone didn t work, and internet wouldn t connect. Tried taking a shower and couldn t figure out how to turn it on. Finally went back down to front desk. The guy had a demonstration on how to work everything with actual props to a thing by the front door you need to slide your card in to turn on lights to the faucet in the bath where you had to pull on a washer right where the water comes out of the spout to activate the shower. He sent a guy to fix phone. Internet never worked. Restaurant sucked. Very little selection and everything was overpriced. Service was poor with one girl working the bar. She never came out to wait on me. I left hotel to eat. There s nothing decent for a few miles from this place. Really had to drive to find something. Breakfast was a buffet with the waitress damn near busted my balls to do it as she and I guess the cooks not wanting to take any orders. So if I had known how to work everything in the room from the get go my stay might not have been so bad. I was exhausted from driving and working all day though. All I wanted was to get to room and take a shower and relax. Don t know what happened to Holiday Inn but this is just not the hotel I remember.

I visited San Antonio for my first time and I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable; I didn't miss my bed at all! The next time I'm in town, I will definitely consider staying at this particular Holiday Inn!

Love it neat and excellent customers service .goods food we really enjoyed ourselves my kids still talked about it. It was fun till our last days

Pleasant accommodations, my only complaint is that I was not provided with a DND tag.

Amazing hotel to stay at for sea world! Great hotel and staff can t beat the kids eat free in the hotel restaurant.

This hotel is amazing! They have a indoor and outdoor pool they have a hot tub outside and they also have darts and a pool table open 24/7 in the lobby only $1.00 to play. My room was very clean and nice no stains (I was in room 511)! The service was awesome and always answered my calles and questions no matter what time. Bathroom is huge and the bed room is big the bed is super comfy and soft like suuuuper soft. The price is great for what you get. They have shuttles that come every hour starting at 9:20 AM to go to seaworld and they also pick you up from there starting at 2:00 PM every hour on the dot. They have a workout gym inside also. I would definitely recommend to anyone 5 stars!

I had accidentally booked at one of the other Holiday Inns near SeaWorld. The front desk called and got me switched to allow me to stay at the same location as my ride. Thanks for your help.

Had our 20 year high school reunion there. Nice place. Great ballroom. Delicious food.

Beautiful and clean hotel only superseded by the outstanding customer service. The rooms are nicer than expected. Shower needs more water pressure otherwise it would have tasted 5 stars. The onsite grill has good food. Prices are reasonable and the service is awesome. I was pleasantly surprised the hotel had pool tables and a dart board. I would definitely stay here again

Nice and quiet. Drinks got a bit smaller than they used to be.

This is a fairly new HI and in good condition, but is tailored strictly for vacationing families with small children destined for Sea World. With all the screaming wet kids running around it is fine if you are vacation, but if you are on a business trip you might try another location.

Need bigger fridges and more equipment in weight room.

Great hotel. To bad auto crime from stealing to break in's are on a daily base. Wish security would be their main focus to keep the auto theft down. To bad my husband was a victim last night. Came out to have the truck stolen from the parking lot. Right next to the main doors.

Had a wonderful experience. Staff were helpful, and very nice. Super clean facility. We will be returning soon.

More comforable than holiday inn express ! And they have a great discount for military .. actually im sad that i didn't come to here when i just arrived to san antonio , thank u so much

Our room was not ready at checkin time had to wait about 30 minutes for our room. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Had extra pillows and towels as I requested. Fridge did not close all the way I had to put my suitcase up against it to keep it closed did not complain about it. Shuttle service was nice , only complaint with that was there were so many families using it that there would be a wait. I'd take the wait over paying for parking at sea world. The hotel was close to alot of resturants as well. I would use this hotel again.

This hotel is very clean, every member of staff I have met have been kind very professional. It's so relaxing to know that the hotel you are staying in care for the guests. The women and men cleaning rooms are very diligent and I see them through out the day cleaning rooms each room at least 45 minutes. Has to be one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at. All of the Amenities this hotel has to offer honestly I could just stay at the hotel all day and never be bored. Also is in a great location.

As advertised with decent rate and free shuttle to the park. Only issue was that my room was not cleaned the first night of my stay for no apparent reason. Front desk offered extra IHG bonus points to remedy the problem.

Stayed over the last 4 days for my vacation to visit family, it's a great location for me, close to SeaWorld. The hotel itself is very clean with many amenities, including a small convenience store (you pay at the counter), pool tables, and a very nice bar & grill. There are both an indoor and outdoor pool, the outdoor pool is AWESOME.
One criticism: Given the current pandemic they were lax on the mask policy, which is currently Bexar County law.

Stay here for 3 days with my family for our visit to Sea world 5/28/2014 and it was much better than i expected. The room was a little nicer than the last few Holiday Inn's ive been to this year, the lobby was very nice, pools were great, AC was nice and cold.

We didnt use the free shuttle to Sea world, we did go swimming and the indoor pool was nice and warm, the outside was a little chilly. P.S, dont order pizza from Uncle Bebo's which they left a flyer under out door. Pizza was extremely gross and out of the 60 reviews on yelp (under an older name) all 60 were bad.

Breakfast and service has been great! Room service has kept my room clean with clean towels and bed made when I come back. One suggestion would be to have a ottoman or a recliner in the room. Clean facility.

Paid $140 for 1 night, supposedly that was with military discount. What a joke. Stains on the sheets. Hair on the pillows. Beds were noisy and uncomfortable. Room was small and claustrophobic feeling. Stay away!

Super friendly and accommodating staff - booked our vacation through the Seaworld site and didn't have a single issue like you so often do when booking through 3rd parties, rooms were great and the free shuttle to and from the park was a major plus!

Breakfast was not free. We paid for it and it was just continental breakfast buffet. Not worth the money at all. Nice hotel. But every other holiday inn we haven't had to pay for breakfast. Ended up going and getting McDonalds each day. It was better than over priced buffet. Rooms and pool were nice.

Only stayed for one night due to a family emergency but would go back to this location when in town again. Rooms were clean and fresh loved the complimentary k cups but would be nice to have at least one bottle water to make them. Beds were comfortable and spacious. Rooms are a little snug but good enough just to shower and sleep. Also they can upgrade their shower heads they are pretty old. Lol Breakfast was good and great variety but would have been awesome if food was a little warmer and not cold kids missed the waffles since it was a buffet that morning they didn't offer waffles.

We left hotel when we came back parking lot was full, hotel was hosting some event!!! I ask the front desk about the parking conditions they said it wasn't their problem!! We park on a mud field next to parking lot. They put up signs saying we are responsible if you get stuck in mud, I wasn't the only one that had to park in the mud!!! If that's the case shouldn't hotel guest have a priority on parking spots vs visitors??? Never staying again here!!!

Good central location from San Antonio downtown and Sea World. Very clean hotel.

The room was perfect for a family of four and the shuttle to Sea World was so convenient. They have an indoor pool perfect for the kids to get energy out and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Excellent place for families! Made our trip to Seaworld great and virtually stress free thanks to the shuttle and comfortable accommodations.

Close to Sea World. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Disappointed in the breakfast buffet. Expected more food variety and better quality for the price.

Attended a wedding and reception. Everything was wonderful. The staff took care of everything quickly.

Very friendly staff Narcy greeted me upon checking in and once she found out I was visiting to celebrate my son's 6th birthday she sent a goodie bag for him. The shuttle driver to theme park was super nice. The room was clean. The food at the grill was a surprisingly delicious, we had ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Over all good food, good people Awesome vacation. Will visit again.

One of the lights in bathroom not working. Floor lamp just sitting there not plugged in with no plug nearby. You can either plug the coffee maker or the microwave it, but not both. Don't count on the internet provided by the hotel...it constantly has "too many users" so you cannot get online. Elevators are VERY slow to respond. Check-in/loading/unloading lanes are full of pizza delivery guys. Plan a good 2 hours if you choose to have dinner in the restaurant--it's not quick and easy. Don't count on the shuttle to Sea World...the early times are booked up a day or two out. And, to commemorate our stay, the antenna of our van was stolen while parked here overnight.

Staff has been excellent for our stay, wifi is spotty, but overall great hotel.

Rooms are nice, staff is friendly. Hotel bar is a little awkward, but everything else was great.

PSA: please keep a lookout for this hotel! Their managers are "scammish" I booked with a 3rd party & SPECIFICALLY stated i wanted to "pay at the desk" (like i always) & these trifling people charged my card almost $300, managers refused to even answer my calls when i redialed 6 times & not only that it interfered with the hurricane laura relief plans we had! they held my money they stole for 20 days down to the millisecond where i had to dispute it with my bank they're sad as all hell dont recommend it at all

Waited at the front desk for more than 10 minutes and never got any help. Ended up leaving and going someplace else.

Very clean and quiet. Remodeling while we stayed and they were still very accommodating. Room sizes were big.

Here for a conference. Very nice staff. We needed coffee water and cream and they were excellent at meeting our needs.

I'm giving this Hotel a one star because I can't give it anything less. I spend 50% of my time traveling for business and personal. The first night I checked into the hotel my vehicle was broken into they stole my shoes my son beats headset that was in the glove compartment. I go to the front desk let hotel staff know what happened she wasn't shocked or anything just asked what room I stayed in that was it. So I asked the lady do they have cameras she said no. So for her not to be shocked it must happens a lot so I call the police get police report give the case number to hotel she says general manager will call you Monday it's Tues night going into Wednesday no call for the GM. I stay in a lot hotels they usually have cameras and this hotel that seemingly like it has a high crime rate and the hotel isn't doing anything to startle the thieves like they invite to come break into your cars. I never had my car break into at hotel until now . I will never stay at this holiday inn again. I recommend you find another hotel where its a little safer. One more thing the hotel staff tells me oh we put a little brochure from the police department. The paper says high crime rate. Lock everything up. The lady said the cops printed it out to give to guests. I let her know it would be better if you tell your guest because at 11pm no one is looking at no brochure.

Best hotel!! Super clean. You can walk around anywhere and it smells like fresh linen. Newer, green energy building. Good food. Friendly staff. Non smoking building but each floor has a community balcony for smokers to use. There's a trail to walk outside. Shuttle service to local spots. Only negative is the parking. Will return here again!

Nice room, very clean. Kids loved the pool. We'll be trying out breakfast in the restaurant and post again tomorrow. So far everything has been great and the staff here is outstanding!

Our whole experience was amazing, our server Ernesto was fantastic during dinner. Would recommend Holliday Inn NW SeaWorld San Antonio Tx. Great management Kathy Tomas has issues with my Debit card and she was the one to resolve it for me.

The hotel is very close to the highway and Sea World. The beds are very comfy, so are the pillows. The dining area is clean and the breakfast and dinner options are great. So far the best Holiday Inn I have used in San Antonio.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at for the price. The rooms are very comfortable and the rooms are the perfect size. There is a restaurant downstairs with a bar and there is an outdoor hot tub, outdoor pool, and indoor pool.
