Great hotel and staff. Only thing I noticed is the food in the restaurant is very bar/grill oriented and lacks a substantial vegetarian/vegan option other than hummus or some form of salad.

Love the dimond sports bar. One.of the best happy hours in all of Oakland. Great crowd, workers, and staff. Food is great,and beer cold. What eles can I ask for. I'm a weekly customer and will be for a long time....

Everything was Amazing! We had reservations because it was a big group(60 people) but check in was s breeze! Excellent Customer Service, Room were super clean and spacious! Everyone loved the King size beds! Thank you so much for everything!

We chose this hotel while staying in Oakland to see some Athletics games at the Coliseum. The biggest draw was the free shuttle service to and from the Coliseum (and the BART station located there). We used it every day and it made our travels very easy. The ding for service was for the rather late housekeeping. We returned late in the day to find our room unmade and the cart still two doors down. A quick trip to the heated pool and it was all made up.

The location was great. About a 2 min walk to bus stops or 5-7 min walk to the Pimlico Tube station. Tesco Express and other small convenience shops within walking distance as are restaurants or craft pubs.

Dated room. Needs to take care odors in room. Needs better sound-proof walls. Can hear neighbor conversations and parking lot.

Ok rooms, little gym, but breakfast was not included and pretty expensive.

Rooms were dirty and the headboards were peeling and the walls were cracking. Very dated hotel in need of a major renovation!!! The breakfast was good and they deliver it to your room!

Nice room, comfy bed, loved the shower. The hotel was under renovations during our worktrip stay, so it was interesting getting around but overall a good experience.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the pool. The pillows were great, and our rooms are quiet.

Very convenient for Oakland International Airport ,the hotel offers a comfortable stay. The breakfast offering is a multipurpose area that doubles up as the bar and dining room at other time. The food offered is standard fare and nothing to shout about, it's what you would expect in a holiday Inn. The staff however are very friendly and can't seem to do enough to make life comfortable.

Welcoming staff. Nice clean room, and I got upgraded to a suite.

Amazing room. Super clean. Big area. Would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the noise. Motorcycle party happening next door till 3 am. Racing and loud music people drunk and loud. We had just flown in after being on a 5 hour flight wanted to get some rest. That didn't happen and the person working the desk was not sympathetic at all. Wouldn't even move us to the other side of the building. Oh the on site restaurant was very tasty. A little pricey but at least it was really good. So was the server.

Convenient location. Quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. However carpet was dirty/dingy. Also fabric on headboard was ripped and gaping open and hanging down. Grossed me out. For almost $200/night including tax I wouldn't expect to see something like that in a room.

There is no continental breakfast, you have to pay $10 for parking daily, and the cost at the eatery is a bit pricey.

I'm from Chicago, so to experience that was a bit annoying.
