Overpriced food and service was lacking. Couldn'tt watch a movie, because the sound did not work right. Then they did not want to refund it.

Great place, great location. My only problem is that all their pillows are very thick.

Love this hotel. Location in River North is great with easy access to the train to the airport and the business district (The Loop). The rooms are comfortable and clean. I love the atrium architecture of the hotel. Room had a great view of the river and was quiet.

Quiet, well appointed rooms, in a great location. Additionally, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was walkable to most downtown attractions as well as very near all public transportation. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again.

Absolutely not impressed. I called ahead of time and was assured I could get a bottle of wine here when I arrived. I got here and discovered that was false. I got up to the room, and I m totally not impressed with the room. Bathroom sink looks like it belongs in a jail cell or trailer park. The shower head is way crooked, sprays on the side of the shower and you can t center it. There s water stains on a picture they put right next to the shower, rust stains on the vanity, curved shower curtain rod is loose and rotated down so the curtain sags in the middle, the toilet clogged through normal use. Coffee makers are disabled. Very Hard to believe that this is an expensive holiday inn. Hotel.exe is broken here.

This hotel is central to where I needed to be in Chicago. The rooms and amenities we're clean and well taken care of.

Front desk was extremely friendly. Parking was good except for us not being able to use our keycard to enter and exit the garage. Room was awesome with a spectacular view. Cannot attest to the pool or gym as I didn't use either.

I went to a Charity Gala here and the food and drinks that were available were very good. The banquet room we were in was also very good and the staff did a great job. The event turned out to be great.

Really enjoyed our stay. Our room had been recently remodeled and was very nice.

Fantastic event support. All of the spaces we used for our event were prepped perfectly in advance, and the event catering was above and beyond what you'd even hope for from a hotel.

Hotel is super convenient to the brown line. Lots of food and drink nearby. Haven't tried the bar/restaurant, but the view looks good.

Rooms are nice, clean and have a refrigerator. They can also be connected via a shared door so it makes it easy for a large group to stay together. However check in time was about 15 minutes, so be prepared for a line when you arrive.

This facility is great, stayed here with company for over 3 weeks.
only bad experience I had was the guy next to me who dropped his bathrobe in the hallway to get some action..
They removed him from the hotel and gave me a new room,
service was great, missing the bible in the drawer cuz of covid..

Really neat hotel in the city! Once you get to the lobby (on the 14th floor), there is an open atmosphere with waterfalls and really nice ambiance. Cosy, comfortable and friendly atmosphere!

The staff is welcoming. Great place for the whole family. Work events or even a date. The bar has a great view of the city as well as some of the rooms. Theres a internet cafe in the lobby. Room service is available as well as a swimming pool.

The rooms are clean, cozy and with a great view. Great location. The entrance and way to the guests floors is a little confusing but you figure everything out after the first day.
I am sure I was told that my breakfast was complimentary but the staff forgot to give me my coupons- learnt later that it was needed and you couldn't simply add it to your room's tab. Unless you have those, you might want to check out food options outside as it is a but pricey. The sky deck and other amenities are nice.

This past weekend we booked a room for two queen beds for Saturday evening. Last minute we decided to drive up a night early and I called to book a second night. The woman pulled up my confirmation and stated the room was for two doubles. I explained I had asked to be booked for two queens, my significant other is a bodybuilder and we barely fit comfortable on a queen. The woman on the other line was silent. I asked to cancel if she couldn t correct my reservation. She said she could get her manager to help further. I waited on hold for 13 minutes. The woman came back to the phone told me her manager was busy and that they would call me back. I gave the woman my information and waited for a call. I had to rush to book another room and the manager from this hotel never did call me in regards to my Saturday stay. It was clear they didn t care that the error had caused me to be inconvenienced. They still attempted to charge my card. We won t be staying with them in the future. Terrible customer service, the manager should be held more accountable to follow up with dissatisfied guests. I would have been reasonable had she attempted to accommodate us.

This hotel is fantastic. The location is perfect, you can walk to pretty much anything. It's affordable, the rooms are clean and up to date, and the staff has always been helpful and polite. I stay here any time I'm in Chicago.

The hotel itself is in a pretty good condition. There are a few places to eat. Some rooms have a beautiful view although we were very disappointed because of the person that works at the front desk.
I found this hotel on the Google Maps. We decided to stay there because it s located close to the highway and you won t stuck in traffic. Unfortunately I haven't found all information I needed online, so I've decided to stop by the front desk and ask them about everything. Once we got there I asked the woman that was there about the room types, parking Pacages and amenities and she started giving us the worst options of rooms saying something like Yes, we have rooms with a view but they are going to be $124 plus tax but we have cheaper rooms without a view, also you know we offer parking package but it s going to be $60+ but I don t think that You are going to take it . Then I ve mentioned that the prices are different online and that it says $49 for parking on the website as well as the room we wanted. And her answer was extremely unprofessional and rude: Well then you have to go online and do everything there and do not ask me. After saying that she just turned around and left.
Unfortunately we had to stay there because all my stuff were with me and I had to do everything online since we already had a meeting by this hotel on the next day.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening and wanted to enjoy the beautiful view with comfort and not caring about the prices and people who have no idea how to work with people! It was highly unprofessional. I don t know how people like her can even work in the hospitality industry.
I travel a lot and sometimes we book a hotel on the weekends just to spend more time in downtown itself. I m very disappointed. Won t go there again.

Nice hotel but a little hard to find. The entrance is via an elevator hidden at the back of the building lobby.

Holiday Inn owns a great pool and the rooms are really comfortable with a awesome view to the Chicago river.

We were here attending a wedding and even though we didn't stay, the venue was nice. The view from the banquet hall was fantastic overlooking a part of the city. The food was better than average. If I had to point a negative, the bar staff were unfriendly. I think overall the venue is great to have a wedding at.

My experience at the hotel was pleasant. Its location was definitely a big factor in my choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is on the 15th floor, so getting between ground level and your room involves some walking and 2 sets of elevators but that's the only real fault I could find with my stay
