Great place to stay. In town for work. Great location, easy parking at Wolf Point. Phenomenal city views. Across the street is a great place to take it all in and enjoy the site's and sounds of Chicago.

Staff was amazing from the doormen to the front desk. I m an avid Hilton Member; but this location completely took the cake. My corporate office is in the Mart. Being able to be close and completely comfortable in a clean room and AMAZING view

All staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel itself is in a great location - close to river walkway, restaurants, and House of Blues (reason for overnight stay). Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Would absolutely recommend this Holiday Inn and consider returning in the future.

Nice hotel. The conference space was somewhat crowded, but it was mostly due to the organizer's choices. The views are great and it's actually very central to both the loop and river north. Convenient to CTA trains too. The hotel facilities are very nice- lobby, coffee shops, restaurants etc.

Super-great customer service. I had to both cancel and reinstate my reservation, and both customer service representatives took care of my needs with patience, grace, and efficiency. Check-in was also a breeze. Thanks, Holiday Inn!

The restaurant is expensive, we are out. The position is great, you are near of many interesting places. The room was ok, I could not see the city, my view was to the inside pool. The pool is great, warm and bigger than many others.

The people at the Mart Plaza Hotel handled our tour group of 150 plus students beautifully. The hotel itself was immaculate the rooms couldn't be better and all of our students felt like they were being treated like kings and queens. Hats off to the staff at the hotel you are one of the bright spots of the trip.

Stayed here from Sunday to Monday in early 2015. We arrived quite a bit earlier than check-in but were still given a room right away. Comfortable room with a gorgeous view! Room service was prompt and delicious. Food here is a bit pricey, but I'll take the convenience of late-night dinner in pajamas over wandering in the cold for a place that was still open.

Our stay was excellent up until breakfast. From the start, the woman at the front desk looked bored and and annoyed that she had to get up to seat us. There was about a 10-minute wait until our waitress arrived, even though the breakfast area was sparsely populated at 10:00a. We had breakfast credits as part of our hotel package and could order anything off the menu (the food was perfectly fine, though the Hollandaise had more lemon than I'm used to). I let the server know beforehand that we had these breakfast credits. Literally halfway through our meal (each of us had half of our meals on the plate and were still clearly eating), the waitress arrived with the bill. We politely said thank you, even though it made us feel rushed (this was not lunch hour). However, the waitress didn't leave; she hovered at the table expecting us to handle the bill straight away. We were looking over the bill (mostly out of curiosity) and she said "The voucher covers your meals except the tip." Still, she stood at the table until I said that we would be leaving a cash tip. She walked away, then returned not even 5 minutes later and inspected the receipt right in front of the table. She made small talk about the weather, then grabbed and squeezed both of our coats to determine whether or not we would be warm enough. Asking? Fine. Touching and squeezing? A little weird and uncalled for. After that, we did not see her in the dining area again (we would have both ordered some juice to complete the meal). Neither of us are fussy diners and mostly prefer to be left to our own devices, but her service was mediocre at best and the insistence about the tip really put us off. Very poor ending to an otherwise lovely stay.

Convenient location to various attractions in the city, rooms were adequate, 12 noon checkout made us feel rushed and even had staff knocking on the door in the morning to check if we were leaving.

Had a great stay. The only issue was that the left over empty tray of food ordered from other guests could be taken out of the way asap though. When coming into the room, there was a tray of dishes outside the door and it was still there the next morning.

The location was great. Smack dab middle of where you need to go. We went after the holidays so we didn't have to deal with a lot of people which was nice. Only issue was before we checked out, the maids kept knocking and to try to clean pur room before check out. I was hungover and just didn't want to be bothered. But wasn't a game changer. Other than that it was close to perfect.

Had to switch rooms because of a possible bed bug problem, everything was way over priced!! Didn't realize we had to pay extra for parking per day! Overall this was NOT a 4 star hotel at all!! I would say 2 star at most!!
