Buffet is fine. It is great that the food is prepared fresh and that it is so busy that the trays are not full for long.
Quite massive and busy hall, relatively few bothering. Lots to do for children which makes it ideal for family outings etc.
The hotel is large, but have come into the years, the front area around the lobby and the conference rooms looks ok, the hotel rooms and other areas are quite used. The hotel in itself smells on some points weird. The breakfast buffet is small and is without love to the details. The restaurant in the evening is average for such a location with a slightly elevated price for the given performance. There are longer waiting times until you get your order. The hotelbar is ok, the hotel service personal is ok. For business travel ok but not for a holiday. The fitness room is ok, the swimming pool is much chlorinated.
Nice hotel, clean, comfortable beds. Great buffet for breakfast. I was in business trip but I saw a lot of families.

In the evening my son became ill, which the hotel could do nothing about. Because of this we decided to go home early in the evening. After a long wait at the reception, the bill for the food turned out to be much higher than expected because I should have made a reservation at the reception and not in the restaurant. I was not told this when I asked at check-in how dinner and breakfast was arranged. A lukewarm sorry just came out but that was it. I have rarely experienced such bad service and customer friendliness I would have expected otherwise from a 4 star hotel.

I think it is a great hotel really super nice only if you sit next to the fan or something with your room I would ask for another room because otherwise you hear the entire time hum.
Great starting point for days by the sea and the old town of Leiden. Good hotel. One point deduction for the outdated swimming pool which our children liked anyway! I can only recommend the hotel.

Hotel is outdated, dirty, and overpriced. The layout is something from the 1980s. There were two different types of mold growing in the shower. The carpet in our room was disgusting, and the beds were uncomfortable. They charge additional fees beginning with 2nd adult, 5 a day for parking, and 17.50 for a breakfast buffet that is worth about 7.99. With all of the money they are gouging their customers for, you would think that they could put some into cleaning and renovations.

Good friendly service, especially in the garden restaurant. However, opening times are somewhat limited (6:00 pm - 9:30 pm). Rooms typical Holiday inn, the quality is just not. Business stay excellent by location.

This is a gem of a hotel in Holland , this hotel is massive with indoor swimming pool,gym and a big restaurant.
Rooms were very big with table space and sofas.
The best part is the vast spread of breakfast buffet.
It has almost every possible thing you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Hotel is a bit old, seems partially worn. The beds were ok. Price for breakfast was overpriced and Wi-Fi only limited. For Holiday Inn claims too little.

We ve spent 2 nights in der Hotel in Leiden with our 2 kids. This hotel is just perfect for families. Great Swimmingpool and Fitnessroom was the best I ve seen in a Hotel. We will come back.

The rooms are a bit small, nice bathroom, very clean, cleaning every day, pool is good, breakfast is the same, there is where to run for the kids.

The room I was in was fairly dated but clean and sufficient, the pool and sauna were very nice to relax in and food was good. In room service was good as well and was relatively quick. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Perfect for families. Nice pool and play area. Room and bathroom were spacious. Special S/O to breakfast crew, esp Sandra and Yolanda, for friendly service. They made us very happy customers :)
We spent a night in this hotel. Absolutely no complaints about the room service. a quality-price ratio more than correct. (I would add that we had a good flair that offered us breakfast and the evening buffet for the same price as the hotel.
The buffet itself is correct, for a buffet. But we expected a meal with real service like in a classic restaurant.

The rooms are OK inside, however I find it absolutely disagreeable that most of the rooms have no windows to the outside, either the room windows are facing the plaza-style restaurant-area or they face the corridors. You hear lot of noise from the other rooms. Rooms are hot, air-condition doesn t work well (even mid May) Breakfast is good. All in all not a pleasant stay

Logistically great - right on the A44 - but still quiet. You can park directly in front of the room by car (in the outer rooms). Attention: park 5 / day.
Wi-Fi is chargeable (okay - 4 MB are included free of charge but how far do you want in times of Facebook & Co with 4 MB come?)
Rooms are clean but not the most modern and relatively basic. Bathroom ok.
Top: breakfast room / restaurant. Selection at breakfast gigantic, fresh and delicious with international dishes, which round off the very good European selection.
There was no time for pool / spa so I can not comment on that ...
