Me and my family stayed here when I went to go visit UTSA. The hotel is new and clean. It's close to the mall and right on the highway about two minutes away from you UTSA. It's a comfortable place to stay I recommend it.
I don't live in San Antonio but I visit San Antonio to watch the Spurs season every year and every time I come to watch the game I stay at this Holiday Inn. The rooms are clean and the price is cheap compared other high end hotels.
Clean rooms. Well-stocked. Gym is relatively spacious. Customer service was considerate. Small portions on dessert items from Ken's Restaurant.
Nice modern rooms. Great hotel, with friendly staff. Room was spacious and well furnished. There was a mistake made by the staff with payment, but it was quickly resolved. Will stay again.
We moved from California and needed to stay somewhere for a few nights until our house closed. The staff is terrific. Very accommodating. It is a very well kept property.
I'm guessing that the hotel didn't like my review so they removed it! I stayed for 10 days and upon checking in, I wasn't greeted and the desk agent was very rude and nasty to me so I reported it to the mgr and she apologized for it. The agent also tried to embarrass me because my room was paid for by my attorneys. It DOES NOT MATTER who pays for the room, all they should care about is that their hotel was the one that was chosen for the stay. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AWFUL PLACE TO ANYONE, I WILL, HOWEVER TELL EVERYONE TO CHOOSE ANYWHERE ELSE TO STAY!!
Nice place...nice food...nice servers... problems with billing....but they fixed their error. So 3 stars could have been 5
I attended a seminar here and the facility was nice.
Worse experience in my life! No exageration made a reservation thru priceline for 2 double rooms when I got there they gave me 2 king rooms. I pointed out that was not what I reserved and they told me that that was they got requested from priceline and cant help me because I didn't do business with them. I asked to checked me out after a long battle with them an Priceline over the phone and the answer was that they wouldn't check me out until 4 am and I was not getting refunded by the hotel. Maria and JR were rude an very unhelpful no humanity in that hotel I have 4 tired kids in the car at midnight and they took my money and refused to help us. The manager Rene Vasquez was at no show and the answer when I asked where the manager was " I don't know I'm not her husband" HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN!

Very nice. Walmart is close by and several restaurants are nearby.
I enjoyed the hotel's flexibility and hotel service. The rooms however were contested and really compact. Also there are problems with the cleanliness in some places.

Very quiet. My family had the 1 bedroom suite which allowed more room for everyone to spread out. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a shower and tub. The shower's water pressure could have been better. I would stay here again.

The rooms were average and the location was fine. What made my stay great was the staff. The general manager, the front desk ladies and the restaurant staff were great! The restaurant was also a great plus!
Loved this place. Very clean & contemporary. Ms. Gloria (the receptionist) has the biggest smile & she makes you feel so welcomed. When traveling to San Antonio, this will certainly be my choice of stay. Thanks again Ms. Gloria you are so professional & nice!
The hotel was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and I would definitely stay there again. The hotel staff was very nice. I forgot a pair of pants in my room upon checkout. I called the hotel and informed them. They had my pants waiting for me downstairs when I arrived 9 hrs later after a trip to SeaWorld.
I booked a standard room. It only had one bed. Every standard room I have ever booked elsewhere was 2 beds. So we asked to swap to a room with 2 beds and they wanted to charge for difference. Sure, no problem. The price difference was $60+! Ridiculous! They finally said they could give us half of that. But that was for a STANDARD 2 queens room. Plus, the ad said breakfast was served every morning. It failed to mention that would cost an extra $10 per person. Very unhappy with our experience here.
Stay has been great, but I think breakfast is a bit overpriced. They have an all you can eat buffet like an express but they are a full service hotel... Other than that staff is very friendly, rooms and common areas are very clean.
City center and good rooms for the price. Better reception than embassy suites.
Check in was quick. My only complaint the soap. It has lotion in it so I felt weird washing it off.
I would give it five stars but one employee there stayed on the phone and wouldn't answer when we needed them to pick us up from six flags, left us out there for a hour. Even when I got back and needed assistance she still was on the phone! The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and roomy, the location is right in the middle of everything. They can train their employees better on customer service
Touristy, not worth more than 2 stars. The entire 4th floor smells like lamb soup for some reason :)

Only visited an event room. Normal room, nothing special. Wallpaper was kind of ugly. Hotel itself was brand new, so no complaints

Had wonderful time. This hotel is centrally located to great restaurants and easy to get to museums, shops or downtown. We dined at several places that were unique to the city and priced moderately. We enjoyed a quiet room with wonderful amenities.

I stayed at the holiday inn san antonio northwest hotel last month. The hotel is located in a good area, very close to restaurants and highway i-10. Getting to the hotel is a little confusing because they are doing construction on the roads nearby, so GPS will take you wrong way. The hotel is clean. I stayed for the weekend in San Antonio, TX. The restaurant in the hotel was good. They serve breakfast in the morning, and lunch and dinner. There is no free breakfast, it is something like $2 to get breakfast. The restaurant is open during certain hours only. The drinks at the bar is average price. Bartender and staff were friendly. I used the workout room a couple times. They have free weights, but they only have a few machines. If there is lots of people working out, you may have to come back later. I think the hotel can improve on some things. The WiFi speed is little slow and cuts in and out at times. If you are trying to stream from YouTube, you have to wait a little while. There are computers in the lobby with good internet. Overall, the price I paid was well worth what the hotel offers. I would stay at this hotel again.

Stayed here while visiting Sea World. Location was about 15 minutes away from Sea World. Rooms were clean and check in went well. They have a restaurant and bar on site so no free breakfast. We did order some quesadillas the first night and they were delicious. The do offer free breakfast or dinner for kids 12 and under with a paying adult.
