Small rooms. Undergoing a refurbishment. Mix up over my booking. The first time I encounter a service added to my meal for eating in the bar, meant to be discretionary, but it was added to the bill! Unable to print my bill and they had to email it.
My young children and I attended the hotel for a family wedding and then stayed on a family room there. We had a fantastic time and found the staff absolutely lovely, especially the lady who showed us in to a side room when my toddler got upset during the wedding service.
The room was lovely and clean, and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
Fantastic, just a business meeting but snack and coffee were provided for no extra charge. Future meeting will be here
Stayed for 1 night while visiting legoland. We had the best sleep and rest. Food good and staff friendly

We were on a coach trip and this was our overnight stay.
Here was the worst evening meal ever had, absolutely foul! We didn't expect a banquet but we did expect it to be edible.
The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was ok - plenty of choice - but that evening meal....ughhh!!!!
Considering it was the New year's day rush for breakfast and the whole hotel turned up for breakfast at the same the team managed breakfast very well.
General decor and service from staff was very good. I frankly expected less from holiday Inn and the price!

Half of the electrics, eg, lights and sockets did not work, the tv constantly lost signal, the evening meal was very poor quality, my 9 year old could of done better. The breakfast again was poor quality very very greasy, bacon and eggs were under cooked. Thankfully we only stayed 1 night.

The whole place was nice and clean, the staff were really nice and the food was brilliant. Altogether this place was amazing and I really recommend going there! Really enjoyed my experience staying there!
The coffee is Starbucks, but they don't have vanilla powder and Cinnamon wasn't on the counter. Hotel and staff are customer orientated and well trained.
Convenient location to the m40. Clean and cosy room with free WiFi. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good for the price. I would recommend a visit to nearby Aston Rowant nature reserve for a scenic walk.

Good location and the rooms were very comfortable. The food could be better...the dessert at lunch was still frozen.
Met here for lunch and had a perfectly good club sandwich. Others in my party had burgers and fish & chips. All enjoyed their food.
Really handy location, right around the corner from an empire cinema, tgi friday, asda and mcdonalds. Brilliant froendly staff. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious and clean. There is lotion handsoap, shower gel, shampoo and More

Generally nice rooms, tidy and clean. Bar is well laid out and a good atmosphere. Food is pretty good and overall it was a pleasant, if not parricularly outstanding, stay.
Considering it was right next to the motorway it was reasonably quiet. Good lovely.
Good value for money hotel. Wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be, being on the M40. Staff were very helpful. Clean and tidy. Good bar area with comfy seating for end of night gathering with friends post our night out.

Okay place, they really need to re think how pedestrians can access the hotel. Long long walk unless you sneak in via the sign on roundabout.

This is a good spot for a business meeting. Just off the motorway, plenty parking, nice big bar area with several small areas for a bit of privacy. Overall well designed for the purpose. Also it was a roasting hot day and the air con was perfect but there is a nice courtyard garden if you want some fresh air
My family has happily stayed at this hotel many times on holiday, however this time I have just wasted 30 minutes trying to book a room through a very nasty woman that barely spoke English and refused to patch me through to the manager. We planned on staying for 3 weeks but now we will be staying somewhere else. Don't waste your time with the hostile staff. I still haven't heard from or spoken to a manager.
Reasonable rooms, good staff as well as breakfast and dinner options
I would of honestly given this hotel 5 stars of it wasn't for the temperature of the room. It is freezing! A little bit too uncomfortable to easily get to sleep. However the room is beautiful and very clean. The meeting rooms are very lovely and much better in temperature. I am also very impressed woth the food here. I wouldn't of expected a holoday inn to have such good quality food. 5 stars if the room temperature gets sorted out next time
Been honest I was a little gutted that I stopped at this hotel. I've never had any problems before with any other Holiday Inn's however with my stay here I was a little annoyed with a few things.
Firstly the Air con in room 23 didn't work. Not normally a problem as I leave the window open however the window been open was difficult as the M40 was right beside it. When I let reception know I was kindly given a Fan by house keeping which was covered in dust. Upon turning this on the room filled with dust from the fan .
On another note I think the room could have done with a really good hover as there was quite a lot of debris and dirt around.
On a whole it wasn't the worst stay I've had in a hotel and also wasn't the best.
Visited for Handycon boardgame convention. Good venue. Food and drink expensive but good quality.
Lovely stay, staff really friendly, room lovely, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and lotion provided for you. Tea, coffee, biscuits, wine glasses provided! Breakfast lovely, but no veggie sausages, soya milk was available, gluten free was available too! Main menu was on the expensive side! But would definitely recommend this hotel!
Rooms very nice. Some of the corridors are a bit to be desired but this was a big improvement on the nearby premier inn. Plus i got a good sleep in a decent bed so a thumbs up from me. Would have been a 5 but the restaurant had to check what we'd ordered 4 times (and I'm not exaggerating) other than that no issues.
Staff so helpful and friendly. Always get a good nights sleep and food in restaurant is of a good standard, tasty and not overpriced. So once at the hotel can rest, have a meal and a good coffee without having to go out searching for it.
