Clean rooms, quiet, good breakfast. However one light didn't work.

Very nice hotel, outstanding beds and room was nice. Front desk staff was awesome, greeted me with a friendly smile. Just a great place to stay

Rooms and spacious and clean. Great shower pressure and excellent atmosphere. Complimentary breakfast is more than just a continental and everything tastes fresh.

This is a fairly nice hotel, the rooms are quite, can't here any noise from the surrounding rooms. Unfortunately the rooms are rather dim and the appointments are dated. The rooms are in need of a make over. One huge downside is that they still allow smoking in some rooms, the smell permeates throughout the building. All in all, not a bad value for the Chicago area.

Had to deal with some critters in our room, but they made it right.

Room was not cleaned at all, see photo of cuetip left on floor. Also found peoples toenail clippings, clothing tags and other unidentifyable garbage on the floor and bedding. Smelled of cigarettes in the room, pillows, bedding, towels and bathroom. Elevator floor was sticky and disgusting. No worth the money, stay somewhere else, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Nothing overly special. Decent price. Acceptable room.

I only went there for a social event. The venue was nice. Service was above average.

Older hotel but clean rooms. Attentive staff. I've stayed here at least 10 times. I'll be returning!

No swimming pool. Other than that, I'd give it five stars.

The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast was good.

The hotel lobby was clean as well as the rooms. But the most important thing about this hotel to note is that the service was exceptional. The front desk staff Latrice and Andrea were extremely accommodating, going out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and easy. Thank you holiday inn downers grove! Amazing hotel, affordable price. Five star experience.

The hotel was ok. But when we got back to room late that evening, the whole hall smelled like marijuana. It was obnoxious. When I told the guy working that night, he said there was nothing he could do and I had to call the cops. He said if he doesn't see it, he doesn't care. Just terrible

Sadly to say I will not be staying at this location again. I had been coming here for almost a year now as it is very convenient for when I am in town visiting family. But after being so poorly treated last night I will look for a different Holiday Inn prpoerty. My issue was attempting to log my laptop onto the wireless WiFi network, which I had done in the past. After many calls to thd front desk about it I was finally asked to bring my laptop to the libby so someone could help me. I sat for nearly 30 minutes without the slightsdt concern from the front desk. I was also told that the manager would assist me, I never saw him. The only help I recieved was from the maintenance person who xame to my room to resolve the ac not working. He was great and he too called the front desk about my connectivity issue and he was told to tell me tgat it was being worked on. I was eventually told that the WiFi here only worked with cell phones and not laptops..... I xalled BS to that as I had used it on my laptop on all other previous visits. I checked in at 3 and finally gave up looking for help at 9:30!!! So as stated abive I will NO LONGER stay here!!!

I cannot say enough nice things about JoJo! She really helped us out of a bind and we will be forever grateful. Thanks for being such a caring and understanding person!

I have stayed at alot holiday inn express. This one is the worst I have stayed at in quite some time. Rooms are dated and not clean. Entire hotel had a terrible odor. We only had one clean towel. Guest services seemed overwhelmed and not friendly. HI express should shut this location down.

Decent hotel with easy access off of 355. Rooms were clean and checkin was easy. Bed was comfy. Only issue was bathroom is small but having the wall mounted shampoo and body wash is a nice thing.

Room was clean and comfortable. There are not enough power outlets easily accessible in the room the way many newer hie have. Staff was friendly and helpful

Absolutely the worst service and professionalism. Booked a week with them decided to cancel and book somewhere else with another IHG location instead of cancelling my booking they took over $700 before the booking date. Continued to process the booking.when I confronted the situation they offered to give me one complimentary night. After all the hassle about this with my bank and there management I decided to at least redeem there complimentary night. The manager himself decided to refuse the night. Basically what I gathered from this was they had double booked my room to increase there profits during covid taking from my families mouths.

The hotel was nice overall, though a little dated. The continental breakfast had a good selection, and the coffee was pretty good.

Dirty, dated and not attentive. Considerable overpriced for the condition. Next time hopefully I won't be greeted by dirty washcloths hanging in my shower, or an elevator that has an automatic air freshener in it!

at check in, CHAR the attendant was rude and acted like she hated her job granted the internet was down, so she had to call in the credit card authorization made her attitude even worse. Place is old and outdated but the bed was comfortable.

Rooms need some updating, but they are clean. Great breakfast spread.

It was a quick overnight stay. The staff were friendly and made it pleasant. The location is little tucked away but approachable. The breakfast is standard Holliday inn format. The WiFi was a little spotty. Overall, a pleasant, standard Holiday Inn hotel.

Rooms were nice bathrooms were stylish but no hand soap. Beds were perfect price was right!

The room was cozy. They had everything I needed. I wish they had more options for breakfast though.

Nice location. Near many choice of restuarant, shops and highways.

The overhead roof in the front is very helpful. Here, they don't have a recreational pool, which is kinda okay. The gym center area looks good and functional. The lobby area is very nice and it was very cozy. Only thing is, the bathroom doors are VERY light. Make sure to keep young childs from getting angry near the door, you'll be just fine!!

Nasty hotel rude employees don t rent a room here nor stay here bed bugs

Stayed for a weekend for my nephew's graduation. Continental breakfast in the morning was very good. It was extremely busy while we were there, the staff was amazing! Very close to shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Very happy with our stay

It's a little dated. Time for a refresh. Otherwise very nice.

Convenient location and lots of restaurants close by. Staff was very friendly, especially the breakfast attendant Diana. Loved the cinnamon rolls. Room was clean. The carpets we're cleaned the day of arrival, so it felt a little damp. Would recommend new sheets, as they felt a little old. Would stay again, if in the area!

I only give one star for it's location.
This place should be condemed. Toilet stopped up. Manager brings a plunger then leaves. The plunger was wet and dirty. Freshly used,, poopy.. desk would not help with my need to get company credit authorization. That same girl with the dirty plunger. Look at me as though I reminded her of an ex or something. Very rude....
Woke up every morning with bug bites all over my legs. ???? Seriously the worst hotel I've been in. One step below motel6.. with a rate of a Hilton. Never again..

Don't clean the rooms, they want to clean it when they want, if they clean it has to be at 8am in the morning when you're still in bed, book are lost, and Managers Sean and Robert make premises they do not fulfill. Very disappointed in their service.

The cleanliness leaves much to talk about. The corridors floor is really badly maintained. The hotel phone was not working, even internally to contact the reception. Jn addition, after 1 am there were so much noise we woke up at least 4 times with bumping and screaming. It was a really bad experience.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. King room was large with small couch. Mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot available in the room. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of options. Location was easy to find. Only complaint was that the A/c heater would not turn off, so loud fan was running the whole time.

No fridge or microwave in the rooms. Those amenities are staples of Holiday Inn Express . The room smelled like musty water. The breakfast wasn't always stocked. It was like staying at a Days Inn.

First time when I come in the door I saw Sam I saw him very generous person it s a good person TO owner of the hotel you have to PROMOTE THIS guy and is going to make you a lot of business because it s a good good person you have to make him a MANAGER very attentive, professional, best experience I ve had in a long time

Gonna make you wait 30 mins after you checkout so they can "inspect the room" I like Holiday Inn , but this is the most unorganized one I have been in.

Picked this hotel based on reviews and photos which I will not do again. While it was convenient to where were having an event, the Hotel was not as I expected. It was well worn and tired looking putting it nicely. Most people walking into a hotel may go..oh this is nice but walking into this hotel I went oh is THIS really what we picked???

Can a place be clean but look dirty at the same time??? The answer to that is YES..

SO bottom line is for the price I guess it's ok if your not concerned with how it looks or feels or having a few bugs on the bathroom floor..hey just step on them, lol!!!
The outside of the Hotel is dirty and strewn with cigarette butts. That was disgusting.

On an upnote, mist of the people working here were nice.

Perfect place to lay your head at an unbeatable price. If you only need a hotel for a place to stay and sleep, this is a great option. And they have new Beautyrest beds!

They allowed late check-out for us.... Awesome guest service....

This hotel has a great location right off of I-355, and a friendly staff. However, it's age is starting to show and needs renovated. Just a short drive from Morton Arboretum and a variety of food and shopping options.

Can t say nothing bad about this hotel service was great we had a little hiccup in our room But Ron,Danielle and Desiree , maria (housekeeper) they all made me and my family vacation/stay wonderful thanks so much the staff is very attentive to your needs ... wish I can issue everybody a tip ..I will be back sooner then later ...wish i could give 10 stars ! But I will give you guys a big shiny star!!

Dirty, in disrepair; understand they are renovating but still too many things not up to par for the cost, fix 15 rooms and open those to the public .. instead of trying to take money for 10 BAD rooms...

Not bad, we had some issues with the room kets, and then the toilet not working, but other times our stay has been fine so I think it was just bad luck

Im a Paraplegic in wheelchair, I booked for three nights, First night I was there I realized beds were super high, but I tried to get on bed from my wheelchair and fell, so next morning I tried to cancel next two booked nights but was denied. I even tried with help from Priceline and they were of no help either. The managers Sean and Ron were uncaring #@%**s

This place is amazing! It s clean and highly maintained, the staff is very friendly and exactly knows how to treat their costumers. I will definitely be back next time and will also recommend others.

Loud guests playing music well past 1 am. Also an obvious smell of marijuana was coming from one of the rooms.

Rooms and service was horrible and when I asked for a refund because of how horrible the room was Mani the front Desk Worker told me I had to contact the third party site I booked with and when I did they told me the hotel is the one that gives the refund Meaning Mani the front Desk Worker is a liar and when the third party company called and asked to speak with Mani regarding my refund she Lied to them and then refused to release my refund to me but luckily I had evidence and sent it not only to the third party company but also to my bank.

I would give this hotel ZERO STARS if I could. This was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. Food stuck in carpet, toliet had stains, pubic hair in bath tub and when I went to the front desk they said sorry, we're out of rooms. I went back to my room, pulled down the comforter and the sheets were stained.....I left the hotel and I've since disputed the charges.

Nice holiday Inn express, I stay here whenever I am in the area for work. Friendly staff, within walking distance of many options for dinner. Only downfall was their computer system was down this time so checkin was slow but I can't hold that against them.

Our room did not have a shower curtain. Other than that, everything was good. Excellent customer service.

The staff here was incredibly friendly and they all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. This was great. My room was as described, ready early for me, and very clean. They do offer free breakfast in the morning too. Price seemed a little high for this caliber of hotel a but I would stay here again.
