Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha Review

Everything is okay. Breakfast was good. Good location, walking distance to the big mall.

It is very clean everywhere the connection in all directions is perfect.

Decent hotel, there's a bar on the ground floor and food is at the lobby is great.

Quality business hotel. Excellent staff both at front desk and room service. Great food and excellent restaurants - Gharana & Little Buddha. Proximity to the Mall of the Emirates and to Dubai Metro.

UPDATE: Stayed here again and the experience gets better so upgraded the rating to 5*

I think it's an underrated property. Great overall service and the Q-Bar is a great watering hole!

Edit, 2019-01-10: The above brief review was posted 2 years ago. Since then, The Q has become my regular to-go place. Friendly staff providing excellent service, a 9-hour-long happy hour with fairly good drink selections, and an ENBD credit card discount on food and non-happy-hour drinks ensures that I will keep coming here! And, did I mention: Friendly crew who provide excellent service, always with a smile too!

Many days of good attention and very good food. I will be back

Nice hotel, good location . You have almost everything around this place. Emirates mall near by, restaurants lot of them , metro station at walking distance. Rooms are nice and clean, food is ok. Though I didn't like food from Thai restaurant they have there.

Looked like a good hotel as I visited to meet a friend. Good room rates especially during the summer months with low tourists traffic.

This the WC of the hotel in the reception down the photos can describe everything I don't know about the rooms up but this it was my first time here . So ....

It is very difficult to speak in Arabic because there is only one staff member speaking, Brother Ezz El Arab, and the pillows, quilts and towels are very, very consumed and should only be used in first class apartments

Nice and in good location, can find good food near by area.

Within 5 KM is Kite Beach and public Beach, within 10KM Marina beach

Didn't like that I had to pay the fees upfront not in check out

Holiday Inn Dubai is a good place to visit and live in. It is located at Al Barsha which is close to emirates mall - one of the largest malls in dubai. This hotel has lot of eating place around it. It also has mosque near it. Daily rates of the hotel is also reasonable.

Went there for an event.
They have a parking at the basement which most of the people came for the event didn't notice.
Staffs are not that friendly. For their behaviour itself you could make out that this is a budget hotel.
The meeting room was very nice. And food was also manageable...

The hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the nearest metro station, just off Sheikh Zahed Road, which runs through Dubai in its entirety. The staff is exceptionally friendly; speaks fluent English and is always ready to assist and help. The rooms are spacious and well equipped; In particular, the shelves in the bathroom are big enough. It is very clean. The breakfast buffet is excellent; many international dishes, but especially oriental and Indian specialties. Until shortly before the end of the breakfast time is always replenished and arranged appetizing, very pleasant. There is also alcohol in the sports bars on the ground floor.

The hotel is near Emirates mall. There are restaurants nearby the hotel. The staff is friendly. Guests are not allowed in to the room.

I've lived in many hotels of this class in my life. This one did not surprise me, but only disappointed. Breakfast not very tasty. Nice service but not competent - I had to ask at the reception for toilet paper. Internet wi-fi non-stop, especially in the room (and the room was delux). It connected better to public amphibians. Location nice because close to the metro and the Emirates Mall, but as you step out of the hotel is the only view is the construction around. In the bathroom a mushroom on the ceiling, tiles not washed. Drama, I do not recommend. At this price I could have a room in Atlantica and even a cell under the stairs would have a better standard.

We arrived at the hotel very early and were able to check in and enter the room in advance. While tidying up the room for clearance, we had an excellent breakfast (very good variety) and waited for a while in the roof area, where are the pool, a bar and the gym. This area of coverage has very comprehensive views of the city, despite the great distance to the central region. The general structure of the hotel is very good, with several bars and restaurants. The room is very spacious, with great facilities, good closet, large and comfortable bed. It is located very close to the Sharaf DG metro station (300 meters) and a 10-minute walk to the Mall Of Emirates, an excellent shopping mall. Our stay was short and the metro was a great option for touring the city. If you are going to stay for a few days, the suggestion is to buy the daily pass, as you do not need to know the destination station or the number of zones. Taxi is also an option for attractions near the hotel, it was cheaper than Uber. Depending on the amount of luggage and flight schedule, the subway may be an option to go to the airport, or ask the Concierge for a car that will take you for the same price as the taxi.

Lovely hotel, we had a very nice room and the pool on the roof is amazing. Metro is nearby for the shopping malls. Special thanks to Fida who did everything to make our stay as good as possible.

Convient 4 star hotel with nice resteaurants and comfortable places to spend your weekend

Booked a trip at the hotel last month Took up the Executive room and hospitality was great. Reception gave us a good room facing good view. Breakfast was also good and people were helpful as we had an infant. Overall, we had a great experience and lifetime of memories to cherish

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff are excellent, very helpful and genuine. Location is great. You can walk to Mall of Emirates very easily even in the heat. The rooftop pool has a fantastic view.

Like someone said it is a 4 star hotel with 5 star facilities. Variety of cuisines available at the food court and taste is very good. Well located for both business (internet city) and tourism.

Holiday Inn continues to surprise me. I recently started using them more often and I must say I have had some pretty comfortable stays. When I arrived the bellman was promptly available to take my luggage out of the car. I was upgraded to an Executive King room from a regular King room and it had plenty of space. The lobby area is cool, they have 4 restaurants on site, spa, salon, well equipped gym, a rooftop pool and Shisha bar. LOCATION: I LOVE being near Mall of Emirates (MOE) because it has tons of food, entertainment, shopping and a metro station. MOE is only a 15 minute walk to the right. Sharaf DG Metro station is a 5 minute walk to the left. Every person on staff that I have encountered has greeted me with a smile. My checkout was annoying. The lady seemed to be a little confused. She was having issues with the card machine, then she went over to another desk to ask someone something, but she never talked to them. She came back and processed the charge with no problems. I had already given her all the information so I ordered my Uber and my Uber was about to leave me because she was taking so long.

Great dining choices such as the royal budda with Thai food one of the best in Dubai and attractive bars very well presented and good staff

Excellent I asked for a room close to the Emirates Mall close to the Mall of the Emirates price is appropriate if you take it from Badri where the position below the building is free

Good place if you think you need a drink with some really good snacks . Go for beers , they always have offers running.

After 9 days stay we are going back excellent hotel, cooperative staff, service and delicious breakfast nice experience good bye holiday Inn and Dubai.

They may have rebranded years ago but when you stay in a hotel, this is what you expect. We stayed for three nights in a group of 14.
Easy check in-out,
Consistent tasting breakfast,
Good service at rooms and concierge,
Clean and spacious rooms and proper bathroom with all amenities.
Also, Their rooftop shisha bar are humble but quite cozy
