Great little soup and sandwich shop. Also have beer and ice cream. Highly recommend.

Decent food but horrendous customer service. There is plenty of other places with excellent service and wonderful food in Northfield. I was denied 2/3 of my order by a staff member. This same staff member continued to stare and gawk at me during my entire visit.

Great small town sub shop. The meat is hot and moist. The bread is baked fresh. The decor is nice. The ice cream cones in healthy portions. I liked the root beer float.

Amazing deals, food, service. Very neat building... not alot of parking.

Had the tuna sandwich and chicken chili. Tasty! Friendly staff. Seem to be handling Covid19 really well.

Good sandwiches for a great price. I ordered a ham and salami sandwich and it was great. I think you'd have a hard time finding a better value as well. I got my sandwich to go but the restaurant itself seemed like a really nice casual, relaxed atmosphere. Service was very friendly as well.

Get the chili with the beer cheese soup mixed together, it's delightful. If the person behind the counter tells you they can't do that, then they're lying and just being a prick.

Hogan Brothers hands down has the best hoagie/sub! The wait time is typically very short (unless there are a lot of people in the shop), the atmosphere is wonderful- it s just an overall great experience. They have local art hung on the walls for purchase which I think is very unique! Don t trust any poor reviews on here because it s definitely worth it to try!

Sandwiches are amazing. Service is great. And good selection of ice cream. Would have gave 5 stars but there should be more pride in keeping a business clean especially a food business.

If you are looking for a delicious local restaurant with an urban feel, Hogan Brothers is the place for you! Delicious hoagie sandwiches and soups. If you show proof that it is your birthday you can receive a free hoagie!

The food here is great for what it is. You essentially can only get one sandwich (with different types of meat) but that one sandwich is very good. They have a rotating selection of soups and ice creams as well that are also reliably good.
It's a shame that the service here is absolutely terrible though. I have waited upwards of half an hour for a single sandwich here before, and the wait is reliability 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, you can see the workers lounging around, chatting, and not looking at all concerned with their orders or the people waiting for them.
So if you have a while to devote to a good sandwich and soup, I recommend it, but don't count on getting out of there quickly.

Delicious but a little bit overpriced to be taking my kids with. I also wish the pop dispenser wasn't behind the counter.

Every trip to Northfield needs a stop at Hogan Bros for a whole hummus hoagie. Don't forget the soup.

Very fun atmosphere, short wait for food, smells are awesome and sandwiches were great. They make their own bread and everything is fresh! Great for a college town and prices are reasonable.

As far as sandwiches go, Hogan's are some of the best. The wait is usually very short. Staff is constantly changing and is usually college students, as this is a town with two colleges. Usually the service is good but I have had poor service.

Who doesn't love Hogan brothers! We love to eat here. Today the line was short so we got to order quickly. Food came to the table in a timely manner and was hot. Sandwiches tasted perfect! Love it!

Really good food but quite chaotic with regular large groups. Get backed up, but worth the wait.

We eat here quite often. My wife likes the gluten free wraps. I love the chili. The hoagies are great depending on the day/time when you come in. Well, they're always great, but certain times they're made a lot sloppier.

We used to love coming here for lunch, but the, manager lady is usually really rude, so we dont come and eat here too often! If we see her working we leave!

My husband and I were very excited to try this place before my niece's swim meet. According to the reviews it was fast, hot, and delicious, exactly what we were looking for. Going into a historic place was quite charming and the prices were decent so we had high hopes. Ordering was fairly simple and the staff nice. That was the end of the pleasantness. After that we waited for 30 minutes for our food while watching people who ordered "to go" that came in after us get served well before us. I suppose I should mention that we did not order a lot of food... 1 half sandwich, 1 whole sandwich, and a cup of soup. My mother was also along and ordered nothing but a cup of soup and had to go to the counter demanding her soup 10 minutes after we had gotten our food. Mind you, she ordered before us. And it was literally just a cup of soup. This was incredibly frustrating in and of itself, but seeing as we had a time limit, it was especially upsetting. Would I go there again? Probably not, but I understand why others who live in that town would.

Soups and sandwiches were really good. Our party tried 3 different kinds of soup, chili blanco with chicken, southwestern chicken and beer cheese, all were delicious. Best subs around! Combo heated is all you need to know. Good service, clean tables and a warm atmosphere.
