I would not rate this dealer at all. I was renewing my motability car and because their motability salesperson was not in, the salesman would not even give me the time of day. He did not even have the courtesy to come over and discuss or offer me any literature. He just walked away - so am I..... Little do they realise that if a motability customer gets good customer service, they will recommend the dealer to their friends who are interested in buying a new car. Customer service at Hodsons is abysmal - would NOT recommend them.....

Recently purchased a car from here and everything went smoothly, got prices via carwow and communicated with the team who gave me all the information and time that i needed. Would definitely go through Hodson Ford again.

Service and MOT carried out 6.3.2020. The price for the work and an advisory was cheaper than non franchised local independent. Vehicle collected and returned. Examination video of vehicle sent to me via email link. Payment made via phone. Very happy and will use again for vehicle acquisition and servicing.

I recently had a great experience buying a used Ford Fiesta from Hodson. I was interested in a car on their website which hadn't yet come in from its previous owner, but they let me reserve it and test drive a similar Fiesta to make sure it would be a good fit for me. They explained their optional extra services to me without being pushy. I can't fault the service I received.

My Honda went in here for a accident repair ( strange I know but it was an insurance repair ) anyway the car was done in 2 days and they cleaned it too

A little bit ago I decided to have my Ford Fiesta Serviced here for it's regular yearly service. Nothing special just oil, filters and general health check.
Instead I come back to find they had covered the entire engine bay in oil and attempted to charge me to rectify it.
The customer service was dreadful so would not recommend this garage for servicing any car in the future.

Ive only been here for warranty work on my Ranger so far but I cant recommend this dealership enough, they have been first class from start to finish. They are not my closest Ford dealership but I took the time to check out reviews and it was well worth it, will now use them for everything

The only downside of buying through Hodson is that as a small dealership there is limited access to demonstrator vehicles to test drive. When you know what you are looking for the dealership is difficult to beat on price and is excellent at keeping the customer informed and making the purchase as smooth as possible. Well done.

Hodson Ford offer and excellent service. My wife and I have previously purchased two Ford vehicles from this local garage and the salesman Brian Smith has been very attentive to our requirements. So much so that due to a shoulder condition I have changed my car from manual to automatic transmission and Brian has been most helpful in finding me a very acceptable vehicle. The change-over was extremely smooth, with Brian dong all the necessary paperwork for me. The servicing and service department are always of a high standard.

As every other experience with Hodson Ford (Penkridge), vehicle dropped off for its regular service, and first rate service given. Vehicle returned on time, and kept updated by their staff accordingly, thanks again.

Having had a small argument with a post Hodson Ford was one of the choices given by my issuance company for the repair from the very start to the very end the service was well in excess of what you would have expected by all, they completed the job excellently. I will in future use them for all my car needs and servicing as soon as my current servicing contract expires.

Unprofessional and such a waste of time! I took my car to be fixed with them as part of an insurance claim. The car was kept 2 weeks more than what I ve been told initially because the satnav had to be checked also.
The car was returned to me with the leather upholstery full of black oil which indicates there was no protection used when mechanics had to go in. The tyres were changed and wheels were balanced, 6 months down the line I can t open the caps from the valves due to them being fitted incorrectly by the team.
The car was fixed nicely but all the additional problems I had made me leave such a poor review. I would certainly not accept to have my car repaired there again.

Recently received very poor customer service from this dealership. Having spent a good sum of money on a full service, brake fluid change and full disc's and pads around the car, it then developed a fault which having owned from new and with low mileage was too much of coincidence for my liking. The staff showed a lack of knowledge and understanding and certainly not value for money against other franchised Ford dealers for a quoted repair. I will not be using them again and certainly would not recommend them...

Very nice place to view cars and the waiting area is very nice with sofas not the usual plastic chair, didn't give it a five star as I thought they would have given my car a complementary clean other then that, Very good customer service from calling up to book the car in, the reminder call the day before and the excellent attitude of the staff face to face. Poor customer service.

I've had my issues with this dealership and felt that they had been resolved, perhaps not the way I would've liked them to be but still the had been closed as far as I was aware.

When I initially took my car to them I had a number of issues, one of which was a squeaking window. I had been told that this had been repaired.

The squeaking sound has returned to the window and when I asked if I could return my car to have the window permanently fixed so the squeak wouldn't return again, I've been told to visit another dealer!!!

I wouldn't have to waste my time in going to another dealership that is further from my home if the repair had been carried out properly in the first place!

I took my vehicle for a software update yesterday and the service that I received was excellent. Good customer waiting area with drinks machine, TV and newspapers; polite , friendly staff and the job was completed quickly.

Really brilliant service. I ve been using Hodsons for over 20 years now. Thanks so much to all the staff

Our car was damaged by someone in a car park, I left the details with insurance, Hodson ford contacted me to say they would be repairing it. Communications were 10/10 every step of the way, very helpful at all times, the repairs to my vehicle were amazing, no one would ever know it had once been damaged. Superb company. Will recommend. We had very good experience with Hodson Ford. One of our company vans cab doors was damaged in an accident and required replacing. Hodson's accident & repair manager, Richard, was very professional & helpful from the outset. The door was ordered, delivered to Hodson's within the week and painted the next day. The van spent only 2 days in their workshop and the end result was first class. Richard kept in touch on a regular basis. We would recommend.

I have now used the body shop twice at Hodson Ford, both times I have been very impressed! After my car was rear ended Hodson's put my mind at ease straight away from when the initial assessment was done to when I picked the car up I couldn't tell anything had been done, virtually the whole rear of the car replaced and I couldn't tell the difference ! The spray paint on the boot is a perfect match and everything was fit back together just like new ! When it comes to my car I'm a bit of a perfectionist so top job Hodson's! After this I knew they would look after my car in future so decided to have my front splitter fitted by the body shop. It fits perfectly and looks amazing ! The staff are very friendly at Hodson's and will go out of their way to help you and explain things to you. Great customer service! Will be using Hodson's in future for my cars needs !

A great Ford garage with excellent sales experience with Mark Friendship easy ordering and setting up fianance and the car was delivered on time and looked amazing with an excellent follow up service would highly recommend Hodson Ford to anyone looking to buy a Ford vehicle.

After buying two cars from Hodson Ford recently we were very impressed with the sales staff, Dan Griffiths and Brian Smith, but when viewing one of the cars in the rain we missed some stone chips on the bumper and bonnet. After we agreed to buy the car it went into the workshop for Diamond Bright application and pre-sale prep.

When we came to pick the car up later that week we were disappointed to see that the stone chips had not been attended to. As the car is a black Ford Focus and the chips were showing through as white, they were very noticeable. These were attended to on the forecourt by a very apologetic sales rep with a paint stick.

The second car we bought was a Ford Fiesta that had a stone chip in the windscreen that was also missed in the presale prep and was eventually repaired on our drive.

Overall, the sales representatives were excellent but the attention to detail in the preparation shop was disappointing.

Spoke to Richard after a truck hit our parked car causing substantial damage to the boot and wing. Although the other party originally wanted to pay cash for the damage (hence the car was taken to Ford) he later decided to go through his insurance and have their repairers fix the damage. Richard advised me that they could still carry out the repairs and that I didn t have to use their repairers, which I prefered anyway! Seemless from start to finish and was kept updated regulary throughout the whole process! Everyone at Hodson Ford (sorry I couldn t name check everyone) took the hassle out of a very stressful time, especially when you consider the current Coivid-19 situation. Would definitely recommend!

Returned my 6 month old V8 5 Litre Mustang in perfect condition after 2 weeks work repairing it after accident. Staff support and comms excellent. All very smooth. I don t do reviews but they earned this.
