Must see for NHL fans.

Must see for NHL fans.
The interactive activities are okay, the videos shown give goose bumps, while the trophy room was amazing.
The 3D movie wasn't groundbreaking, but good to kill time.
Always fun to look at all the historical memorabilia, but after a while, it's just a lot of jerseys over and over again.

We actually came all the way from Denver to see this and it did not disappoint. So glad they had something about Patrick Roy and getting our picture taken with the cup was the highlight of our trip.

Amazing memorabilia! Staff was helpful and very nice. Lots of games, movies, 3-D movies. They let you touch the Stanley Cup. You can have the attendant take your pic with the cup or you can take your own with your phone, which most places do not allow, helmets (hats) off to the Hockey Hall of Fame!

Great place to get lost for hours looking at all things hockey. The only way to make the locker room feel like the real thing is to have to smell like one (which it does not.) The interactive displays are interesting, especially the TSN desk.

Love coming to the Hockey Hall of Fame when I am in town. The games area is lots of fun for people of all ages. I love the hall of the goalies masks, loved the Howe and Gretzky exhibit and the Great Hall is a must for all hockey fans. My personal favourite spot is the vintage Montreal Canadiens locker room.

I come here with my father every year and it s a great father/son bonding trip. Also took my wife here for the first time and she had just as much fun.

A great visit for hockey families. A must do.

Would highly recommend very interesting. Lots of fun for this wife of an avid hockey fan. Who really isn't into hockey but is a supportive wife. There were games to play no matter the age. Elevators too. A stand in type Stanley cup. The staff left us alone to view, were around to answer questions. Also, a short information video on players from the past.

Anyone who has ever enjoyed the game or still enjoys the game should make the trip here.! Kind of small in comparison to the Baseball H.O.F. in Cooperstown, N.Y. , but still a wonderful place to see the legends and memorabilia of this grand game.!!
Getting to the actual entrance is kind of tricky for those who assume that the spirit of hockey store provides an entrance, it doesn't, only an exit from the Hall...
you go downstairs in Brookfield Place, the mall that houses the H.O.F. to the food concourse and there you will find the entrance.

Very nice place to visit especially if you are an extreme hockey fan. They have a lot of interactive stuff for the kids like shooting on a net and even a small rink. There is also a lot on each team and all the people who were accepted into the Hockey Hall of Fame

The HHoF was a little odd to locate. What you would think to be the entrance is street side, but you actually enter via the Brookfield Place. You might then think the souvenir shop is the entrance, but don't be fooled. Find the escalator to go downstairs (located in the awesome Allen Lambert Galleria, the 6 story steel & glass atrium), go down into the food court area (part of the PATH, so if you're there not during business hours, it is eerily quiet), take a 180 and you'll see the HHoF at the end of the hall.

The HHoF is massive. As I was wandering through, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was more than just NHL. There was an entire hall dedicated to hockey across the globe. There was lots of detail about the display items posted on placards in the displays. For those travelling from international locations, the majority of the display placards are in English, while the larger displays are in both English & French.

For interactive options, there was an area that was operated by the HHoF where you were provided a stick and had to guard a goal against pucks. For those with better understanding of hockey than myself, you could go into a pretty impressive mock tv studio booth to narrate a play-by-by/Sports Center segment. If you have a knowledge of hockey trivia, there are several interactive quiz type displays to test your knowledge of great hockey plays/etc. There is also a movie hall for an additional fee (I did not partake of this option).

And for the best & most important part, The Stanley Cup. Located in the former Bank of Montreal building (part of the HHoF complex), it is surrounded by glass etchings of persons that have been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Surrounding the etchings are all of the trophies that are given annually for various position/leadership/volunteerism/etc. acts within the hockey world. In a side room (actually a bank vault) you can see the original Stanley Cup. Across the room, in a place of honor, is the current Stanley Cup. There is an attendant that will take your photo with a nice DSLR for a fee, or if there is no one doing that, you may approach and take selfies if you so desire. Just remember, do not touch!

And for those of you that are into architecture, don't forget to look up at the beautiful stained glass dome that is above the Stanley Cup & inductee etchings. Absolutely gorgeous!

Overall, if you have even a small understanding of hockey, I think you will enjoy your time at the HHoF. If you have never seen a game of hockey, and/or have no interest in the game, you will be in information overload/bored out of your mind. Your loss.

Final thought, kudos to the display designers as there were sections dedicated to women's hockey solely, but at the same time interspersed throughout the collection when displays discussed specific achievements.

The Hockey Hall of Fame has something for everyone. Personally, the history and the artifacts were intriguing. I appreciate the variety in the exhibits, there is a lot to learn related to all aspects of the game. If you have kids they won't be bored either, there were interactive parts like the goaltending and shootout games and videos games as well. We spent about 3 hours there and really could have stayed longer.

Originally coming from Australia, ice hockey was not something that formed any part of my growing up - hockey is something that is played outdoors on real or artificial grass, not indoors on ice. But seeing this hall of fame whilst on holiday in Toronto, I decided I should check it out. While my lack of hockey background meant that some of the exhibits here washed over me, this is undoubtedly an amazing collection of hockey memorabilia and information that any hockey fans would appreciate. While I didn't try them, the interactive displays add a further reason to visit, especially for those with children.

I had a few hours to kill before catching my flight home and I knew I wanted to come to the HOF. I had been to the US Hockey HOF before and it was a let down. I had heard this was much, much better. It was! There was an incredible video display with Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe. They also had all the NHL trophies on display which was awesome. There was a great international exhibit too, with tribute to all nations with hockey fame. I really enjoyed the games area. I watched some young kids shoot pucks and moving targets. They were having a blast. Overall, I had an awesome time here. I don t think I necessarily need to come back. I feel like I saw it and would do other things if ever in Toronto again.

Was a fun experience and the staff were super nice. They let my friend and I in even though they were closing very soon. But we explained to them that my friend is only in town for the day and didn't live in the country. They let us in for a reduced fair and allowed us to walk the entire premise, take pictures, and have great memories.

Amazing Hall of Fame. The basketball hall of fame could learn a lot from this highly interactive, informative and friendly HHOF.

Amazing artificats, cool trivia and a chance to take your photo with the real Stanley Cup!

No one rushed us and we spent several hours wandering around.

The 1 star ding is for the shop. Limited number and types of hockey sweaters. So far, the baseball Hall of Fame had the best and most unique merchandise.

All in all a great visit. Not too expensive either.

Park down the block for better deals on parking.

Great memorabilia. I've read some reviews that said they only spent half hour here..... then they weren't true hockey fans! My son and I spent over 2 hours here and still had a ton of information to take in! They also have a few interactive games here as well which are free to play. We absolutely loved it! (Didn't hurt that the Stanley Cup was on display when we went)
