If you are a hockey fan in any way this is a must see. The collection is housed in a great location and very well laid out. The exhibits vary enough that it is exciting for all ages of hockey fan. Across the street from Union station basically so it is very accessible.

Went from 3 to 4 stars after the kids found the interactive section deep into the exhibits. Best of all admission is for the day. Come and go as you please in one business day.
Great surprise at how awesome the Hall of Fame was. Even though not a hockey fan it was exciting to see the Stanley cup and the architecture of the building it is housed in. It is surprisingly big and has a number of fun interactive things to do for the kids and adults alike. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Not worth $20 entrance unless you love hockey but with free entrance was definitely worth a visit.
Super cool afternoon! Google deals to find a coupon. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to do the goalie and shooting game as much as we wanted. Will visit again!
Place is massive, and, while navigating can be a little confusing (tip: there's a floorplan right next to the goal on exhibit if you follow the signs to the restroom/wash room), a hockey fan must do.
[CORPORATE VENUE REVIEW] We hosted a half-day morning event for 30 people at the HHOF, and loved every minute of it! From the first contact to getting things organized to the event itself, the team was super friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions quickly and diligently, and were always finding ways to support us above and beyond what we expected. They had everything we needed, from AV to catering to room setup and everything in between. The HHOF venue itself was incredible and gave a unique and very memorable vibe to our event. We'll definitely keep this venue in mind for future events in Toronto! Thanks again to the team!
I idolized Giacomin and Plante who were the masked netminders men of nhl fame. Great place for anyone lacing up skates. Wore the pads and donned their moulded masks..
You get to go touch the Stanley Cup! The entrance was confusing you go in through the hockey store, and purchase your ticket at the back of the store. I loved it, and if you are a big hockey fan you will too.
Amazing. For starters the exhibits were all pleasing to look at in general. With beautiful colours, placement of items and using a modest amount in the display, everything was appealing. The shoot out and trivia game were pretty cool. We were also able to take our own picture with the Stanley cup. All in all 3.5 hours of amazing!
It is great for my child who is in love with hockey. In all honesty it's a bit lack luster. It hasn't changed since I went last in '96. Same displays but they did update a few players to spotlight. The interactive games were fun for my son. We went on a weekday and it wasn't very busy so he was able to do them multiple times. The sports centre booth needs and update and the video it records is not very clear and the picture is poor
Amazing! It s basically the history of hockey, the NHL, and international hockey. Special exhibits, when I went it was a (Gordie) Howe & (Wayne) Gretzky exhibit. Highly recommended to any fan of the game.
My boyfriend and I had some time to kill, and we had never been to the Hockey Hall of Fame so figured we d try it out. Since we just walked in, we didn t have coupons or anything, and we hesitated because it was $20 each and we weren t sure how much we d like it. We paid anyhow and were actually quite surprised at how much we did like it. There was so much history about hockey (and since we are Maple Leaf Fans, it was interesting) and also lots of interactive things to do and it was definitely neat seeing the Stanley Cup. I likely wouldn t come back anytime soon since we ve seen it all now, but it was a great way to spend a couple of hours.
As a hockey fan this place was amazing! The history and accomplishments are an amazing sight to see. Plan for a good amount of time to walk around and really enjoy your time. However, you can exit and come back in to grab a bite or drink. See the Stanley cup and all the championship rings. Have some fun playing games and testing your skills.
Going here was an incredible experience for me.. not only was being in Toronto a nice experience, but going to the hall of fame was great too. I couldn't believe the level of detail of the memorabilia there, along with seeing uniforms and helmets and trophies, and even video of some of the older hockey games I used to watch growing up.
If you are a hockey fan and you've never been to the hockey hall of fame, spending the time and money to go is well worth it
I am 36 years old and have been waiting my whole life to come visit this place and last Friday i finally did and it was so AMAZING!!!! The staff are so nice and all the artifacts in their was INSANE!!!! SO much to do for kids there and we got to see David Ayres put the stick he used to beat the Maple Leafs into the Hall of Fame. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you come check it out!! Oh and there is a Gretzky/Howe exhibit going on now and you wont want to miss it!!!
The hockey hall of fame was a great experience. If you are in Toronto and a hockey fan or just a sports fan, Go. It's is very interactive. Not expensive at all and you can get a picture with the stanley cup.
