Very, very nice Villa, for three couples. Well appointed. Still, it is a 12 minute walk to beach across highway and Hotel Gran Wailea. Shuttle service is quick and available from 8 am to 9 pm daily.

The rooms were great. Although the Grand Wailea pools were located across a busy street, the pools were top notch if you have young children. Beach access was great with all Grand Wailea services. Walking across the street to get to the Grand Wailea was not ideal, but it was a small sacrifice to get your own private garage and full kitchen/BBQ to cook your own food. We will visit again.
Awesome place! The views are amazing and the concierge is very friendly. Pool is really nice as well and we like the distance from the beach to work off all the food we ate.
Our friends rented a villa from VRBO, which was amazing. This gated community is really well kept, and the lanais are spacious. Just be mindful that you don't get access to the pools at Grand Wailea if renting from VRBO.
We visited this place. The staff were very great and quality service, so, the eat is Variety and excellent , also the rooms were cleaned and comfort bed. it has fantastic location for the people that visit the town for work. Will recommended this place for all persons that to travel this city.
The rooms have a beautiful view. Impressively clean, and rooms spaced out in the house making it easy for multiple people. The staff takes care of all needs you could possibly have.
The place is very private with an amazing view. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The villa was equipped with everything we needed to live very comfortably and cook as we wished. The proximity to Kihei is just a couple of minutes. Beach is a minute away. Makena park is literally just down the road. Maluaka beach is also just down the road. Grand Wailea resort is big and busy. Ho'olei is not busy. Traffic here is almost non-existent. If you are after dining and activities such as lazy River or luau, the resort is across the street.
poor. the second that I, multi billionaire CEO of the tasty treat (now at Am Pm's) pop-tart company, walked in the store, it smelled odd. I then exclaimed, it smelled like broke in here. the toilet paper wasn't even made of fur. the pool wasn't even made of Gatorade. the plates weren't even made of diamonds! unbelievable, just unbelievable.
A slice of heaven on earth. Not sure what to say about Ho olei. The service was exceptional and the amenities were top notch. It was the perfect pairing for our honeymoon stay. Our favorite part was having a grill and full kitchen in our villa. This made eating healthy easy and allowed us to stick to our diets. This place and trip will never be forgotten and look forward to coming back in the future.
Amazing views here. This location offers a nice alternative to staying too close to the resort but offers shuttles to get you there. The living space is perfect.
Good location with access to the Grand Wailea Resort either by a short walk or the on demand shuttle. If you have a rental car you can also drive over and receive complimentary valet parking at the GWR. The staff is friendly and strives to grant requests. The pool is very nice especially in the mornings for a cool dip. Dont settle for a garden view, they are too close to highway. Pay the extra for a standard view. Only downside is there is significant differences between each villa you might receive. We moved from a Garden View to and Ocean View and we were surprised that the upgraded view villa had, furniture, dishware, etc...that was not as nice as the Garden View Villa. When asked, the staff said that since the villas were owned privately that the owner of each villa provided the contents of the villa. So having only seen two villas, I saw a dramatic difference in the views and the villa accoutrements. All in all, I'd still take the Ocean View Villa with a superior view over the Garden View with no view and superior accoutrements.
This resort was magical to say the least! The Customer service and appreciation is exactly what you'd hope for on a Hawiian vacation. With a simple text I was able to receive instant responses and granted every desire. I went to Mauii to cross it off my bucket list. Upon arriving back home, I told my family that we are definitely making Mauii one of our Prime Vaction spots and this resort will be the only one I stay at. We have a trip planned to Mexico for 10 days, and we decided to cancel it and go to Maui instead! In conclusion, all I can say is...Mohalo!
Beautiful properties that are insanely spacious, well stocked kitchens, great daily service, very easy on-demand shuttle to the hotel and a bunch of other stops, (we walk down and shuttle back up), everything has been perfect, great option for families, no hotel room service
Stayed here with my family and had an amazing experience! Each villa is complete with a full size kitchen, garage, multiple bedroom and bathrooms. Great views of the ocean, a private swimming pool, hot tub, and kids pool with sand. Staying here allowed us to spend more time together compared to each couple staying in a separate hotel room. This has become a yearly tradition and we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Ho'olei!
The Grand Wailea gives the best Customer Service and only sees Royal Guest when you arrive. No other guest get attention while you are in the presence of the staff member that assist you and or your family.
I can say with confidence that this is the best resort I ve ever stayed at in all of our travels.
The combination of the stunning beauty and the exceptional service of the staff really makes this entire property stand out from the rest.
If you re looking for the best Hawaii vacation to enjoy stress-free with your family this is where you should go. I have outlined my highlights by category below.
The Condos The condos by them self are beautiful and well decorated. We did the three bedroom option which had ocean views. Downside is that you re not right on the ocean and you need to either walk or take transportation to get there. But the advantage of having your own space and your own kitchen with an amazing outdoor grill area is awesome.
The location of the condos ends up not being an issue because if you book through the villas themselves you have access to the staff that have private vans. With a simple text message they will come and pick you up, help you load your luggage, and get you down to the resort on the beach.
We needed some baby proofing for the stairs and I called to ask if they knew somewhere they would rent us the stuff and instead within a matter of minutes they came up and installed everything we needed.
The Staff The staff here are truly exceptional. Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful, kind, caring and just pleasant to be around. To top all of that off they were also super helpful. if we needed things carried they would do it for us. If we needed to get towels they would help us get them.
We had one issue where we ran out of paper towels and not only did they apologize they sent someone in minutes with multiple rolls to fix the issue.
The Resort If you re looking for privacy the resort has its own pool separate from the main hotel pool. If you re looking for more action and more amenities and you can use the services at the grand Wailea. There they have a lazy river rope swing, waterslides, a water elevator, and pretty much everything you need. There s also beach access.
Overall: Overall everything is exceptional and we think it s worth the premium price to come back here every year. After our first trip they have turned us into lifelong customers pier
I definitely did not take enough pictures of this place.
The service is incredible. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. They even unloaded our groceries from the car and put them in the fridge for us. It's all of the little things that they do that make your stay pleasant.
We couldn't have asked for a more BEAUTIFUL resort to spend our vacation! The service was incredible! The on-demand shuttle service was terrific. The grounds were quiet and absolutely gorgeous!
Great accommodations at the villas. Love having access to the Grand facilities, but not having to be in the middle of the resort is nice. The staff is nice and the daily POG refills are a highlight! Thanks Melissa!
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Ho'ole is the counterpart to the Grand Wailea, with villas the size and finique nicer than most houses, but also within walking distance of the Grand Wailea. The pool there is quite nice, with a majestic waterfall and serene background anywhere you go. Most of the villas are relatively the same layout, with them being all within short walking distance of one another. The car service they provide is also nice, with them being able to take you to a resteraunt, Grand Wailea if you don't feel like walking, or to the airport for your departure from Maui.
Absolutely incredible place - perhaps the best ever. The staff is so kind and helpful (especially Rubi ), the landscaping is impeccably well-kept (beautiful flowers everywhere you look), and the condo - OMG, it really is as amazing as the pictures. Only downside is there is only one pool for kids and adults at the Ho olei so that meant a few days of loud kiddos, but in general was peaceful.
And on top of all that, you have access to the Grand Wailea which has a few fun pools and amazing beach access. Perhaps my only complaint here is there wasn t enough seats near the pool and they claim to monitor this but there were never open seats in the adult area after about 8:30-9am.
Do yourself a favor and stay here as long as you can afford!!
Great set of homes available to rent with access to the Grand Wailea resort facilities. The homes are spacious and comfortable. There is a pool and fitness facility available to use for the Ho'olei residences.
very friendly service and beautiful hotel with nice views. Lots of restaurant and food choices. Live entertainment in the evening, some art for sale in lobby area. Good selection of drinks at lobby area bar. Our server was awesome, he definitely had aloha! It's four seasons so expect everything to be expensive!!! Drinks ,food, everything
Beautiful condos with Amazing views!! A first class environment without the feel of a busy crowded hotel. A beautiful pool area with a bar, two hot tubs and massage room. And should I mention the beautiful spacious room layouts of the condos. All in all a wonderful relaxing experience that I look forward too again!
Beautiful unit, plenty of space for everyone and it is an awesome location. My only complaint - we like to BBQ when we are in Hawaii. In normal times we don't like to eat out and if you combine that with Covid where very little was open, we really had no choice but to eat in our unit. There is no vent fan on the patio and it fills with smoke from your BBQ really bad (no, I didn't burn our food). It smoked up to a pint where we could barely see the spectacular sunset views from the patio.
