Massive HMV, love shopping here for the nostalgia. Gets a bit stuffy in there.

One of the few remaining CD, Vinyl & DVD stores in Central London. Good selection at good prices.

the store is really big and thats mean a lot of collection you might looking for, some staff is also nice but some are pretty bad but that's okay i guess.

Amazing outlet with an amazing collections of vinyls, electronics, toys and tees. Apart from the audio collections they have a huge collection of Funko Pop figurines, awesome collection of tees, and good list of novels and graphic novels, oh yeah they got good collection of posters as well.

Got there at 21:28, I know it s late but if you re gonna close the store earlier then what it says on Google Maps/The website just put 5 minutes earlier there

Pleased to find a very good range of French fiims in World Cinema section (the other films aren't actually out of this world).

Music lovers dream, worth keeping an eye for the instore stuff.

Came here for a special event for my daughter. It was really well organised and staff were really friendly.
Shop has lots of interesting stuff from records, cd's, tee shirts, mugs, audio equipment, memorabilia.

I want this great store to keep going! So I buy CDs! No downloads! I love to wander around the different sections. Always find a gem of a sound that I'd forgotten about! Plus it's brilliant seeing vinyl back on the racks, sadly can't afford to go down that road again!

With the advent of the Internet and online sales, the HMV no longer offers the choice of yesteryear. But in the context of the moment, it remains a place of reference in the general sale of music and video.

Nowhere else can the decline of an industry be read as easily as in this shop. While the London record stores were once the pulse of the music industry, there are only a small selection of current films and music on 3 small floors. There is a larger selection of vinyl, there are hardly any other audiophile recordings. Unfortunately, the idea of finding treasures here that are not also available in the German record store is not a good one. The sorting of, for example, music image data carriers (films, concerts, musicals) is confusing. Too bad.

Amazing place with more music, movies and all I could imagene or buy... And the staff is so kind and amazing as well!

Great customer service from the gentleman who served me. Went above and beyond to help me find what i was looking for. I let the store manager know as i was leaving. Good job

Only popped in but they had exclusive merchandise from Game of Thrones, just had to buy some.

Yes that's the place where in May of 1962 Brian Epstein was into for make a Copy in an acetate of the audition Tape where The Beatles was Recorded 5 months before and the engineer who made the personal record was listen the unknown group from Liverpool called "The Beatles " so that person recommended an appointment with George Martin who at that time produced Comics Records on the EMI Parlophone label, probably the engineer who past the Tape on a Record was think The Beatles would been a Comic Group But no matter what, any way George Martin management a date with The Beatles at Abbey Road Studios on June 6th 1962. Brian Epstein brings the group that notice by a telegram mean while The Beatles were in Hamburg Germany played at Star Club those days

The place is really nice! There is a great variety of CDs. I could find some I didn't find in any other store. Plus, the prices are okay, and you can find a lot of new DVDs and Blu-ray as well.

good size store the ground floor has a collection of chart trending dvds and vinyl and cds this is split up basement dvds film and tv show the 1st floor music including vinyl cds head phones it easy to find what you need staff are helpful not pushy good layout and they play a good selection of music that had me singing to myself nearest station bond street my only criticism is that vinyl a bit pricey and bigger selection

The staff here do not have an idea about what they are selling, I asked about 4 people before I got the DVD I was looking for, educate yourselves about your products.

One of my favourite shops in the world, I have been coming here for over 30 years. Staff always happy and helpful, incredible choice and always great background music.

Cd, dvd, blu ray: an endless choice between latest news, old hits and of course offers. There is no shortage of music-themed books plus musical gadgets or comics. Last gem a wide choice of vinyls. Not stopping is a sin

OK this store but no were near as good as it used to was better when it was based on Oxford street.

Best Music store. Closed forever after 98 years RIP

The main store on Oxford street is a bit hit and miss. The ground level floor seems to sell whatever they seem to have in stock, but the the other 2 floors do seem to concentrate on either music or films. Prices do seem to be higher than their opponents online and some plder titles do seem to be overpriced.

Lots and lots of DVDs and Blurays , comparatively fewer CDs or SACDs, so you may have to go elsewhere for specialist musical interests. Not particularly clear what is kept where on the 3 floors.
