Went to a concert at this venue. The venue staff seemed very organised and all facilities are what I would expect. I particularly liked the original theatre features that have been retained.

I really like this venue. Travelled to see Motion City Soundtrack here and had a blast. The bottom floor has tiered levels to give more people a better view, and an upstairs seating floor.

Found the bars pretty awful when it got busy. Just chaotic.

It's got a good sound here, but would be nice if they could have larger stairwells down to the standing area. People crowd around the top and it's hard to get down, even when there is plenty of room below.

Great medium-sized music venue hosting bands from around the world. Standing space downstairs is great for being up close to the action, or standing upstairs beside the bar lets you get the best sound experience.

Fun

Not the greatest of venues but I saw Hoodie Allen here and overall, it was a good experience. Though I don't really understand why a lot of people opt for the upstairs seating.

Aside from that, drinks are reasonably priced inside and you there's enough space for a fairly decent amount of fans to enjoy some music :)

The staff of the venue didn't seem to care at all and the majority of people with seated tickets went downstairs into standing which left standing extremely cramped and dangerous. You could also walk up to seated from standing as nobody cared about what your ticket actually said. The venue was very cramped and the que to get in was huge with people getting to the venue early in the morning. Their are also no toilets whilst cuing so you have to go to a near by pub. Their isn't any parking so have to access the venue through public transport. Awful security. The bar staff and merch staff were a small amount and they were rushed off their feet but were friendly and efficient at their job. It was a good atmosphere. However the live sound was awful you couldn't hear the singer at all even standing in the front row. All you could hear was the bass of the songs.

Amazing looking building inside, I was on the balcony to see a band and it was one of the better experiences I've had, there was lots of room and viewing was good from almost every angle.

Would definitely come here again.

A great venue for live music, the bar staff work quickly to prevent queues getting silly. Despite this the wait is as long as at any gig, prices for drinks are reasonable for a central London venue. The sound and light kit is good and the way the crowd is divided up slightly prevents surges during gigs. The toilets are a pain to get to being at the back but you'll just need a strong bladder to watch long sets.

Fun venue. But no air con! We saw Tokio Myers with our teens in tow. It was a sweltering Friday night in April 2018. If there was air conditioning it wasn't working very well so we had to leave early as TM didn't appear until 9pm when doors opened at 7pm with tickets for upstairs unreserved seating which are all benches. If you get there for the main act you're way to late for seats and have to stand up in the Gods. It was fun people watching everyone who arrived from 8.30 hoping for seats, especially as they expected to get some the front of the balcony. When my husband and kids went to the loo I had to guard their seats ferociously! Also as a non-smoker the smoking area was right in front of the entrance doors so all the smoke came straight up into the balcony area and was totally unavoidable. Not at all nice especially for the kids in the audience.

This is a great place to see an act. It's spacious, well organised and no matter where you sit on level 1 you can still see the performance. The tube is on the same road so it's easy to travel to. I'm going back on February 11th!

Good venue, went to see Flatbush Zombies

Has a seating area and a main standing area, to be closer to the act I recommend the standing area.

Small Victorian hall. Gorgeous architectural features although a little tired. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Drinks not too expensive and they allow you to have free tap water. A generally positive experience

Great venue. Nice layout with a bar either side. Good capacity without being too big.

Good security and visible security staff.

Screen advertising for up and coming events either side of the stage and a cloakroom. 1 entrance for guest list, 1 for stalls ticket holders and 1 for balcony ticket holders.

There is no readmission once you exit the venue and this is shown above each entrance.

One of the poorer music venues in London. I hadn't been here for a good few years but I soon discovered the same issues were still here. Aggressive security staff, a ridiculously slow cloak room set up and overpriced / understaffed bars. The toilets were still disgusting and haven't been renovated in decades. Unfortunately these negatives will prevent me buying tickets for this venue

It is the perfect smaller venue where can we the Band, not a screen as you do in larger venues, we had Accessible acess I am in a Wheelchair. This is the best view we have had, my carer and I, the disabled area is right next to the mixing desks so you are middle of the stage instead of being put un the sidelines.
The only downside is the ramp use for us to manoeuvre up to the toilet or merchandise the ramp is on the Cloakroom so at the end of the show you would normally have to wait until everyone has retrieved their coats, by a nice security man opened one of the side exits for us, and it was right next to my car. Top venue for the disabled Wheelchair users I wish more were like this, it was a truly memorable night.

Visited venue several times over the years to see rock/metal bands. Good well organised venue, medium sized but sound appears better down on the floor than on the balcony as it tends to echo around a bit upstairs.

Saw Day6 there last night, the venue was amazing and small enough that even at the back of GA you're still in good view of the stage. The staff were incredibly kind when I ran off to the toilets feeling ill at the start of the show and the wonderful medics had me right as rain having only missed two songs!

Queued for 30 minutes in the guest list line for the Bradley Wiggins evening. Seems that no-one from venue management had worked out that 200 or so people would take a while to process so no special arrangements were made to deal with everyone. Great when I finally got inside though.

On this stage Babymetal is presented in July 2014, being on the 12th of the tour. This concert would initially be in the Electric Ballroom, but due to the success in sales, he moved here with greater capacity.
