Lovely venue and helpful staff. Discount at the pub next door too.
Lovely venue and helpful staff. Discount at the pub next door too.
Love this venue, small and intimate, can get cramped with a sellout but still adds to the vibe.
Went to a concert at this venue. The venue staff seemed very organised and all facilities are what I would expect. I particularly liked the original theatre features that have been retained.
Great venue that offers standing and seating for 1,300 ppl
I really like this venue. Travelled to see Motion City Soundtrack here and had a blast. The bottom floor has tiered levels to give more people a better view, and an upstairs seating floor.
Found the bars pretty awful when it got busy. Just chaotic.
It's got a good sound here, but would be nice if they could have larger stairwells down to the standing area. People crowd around the top and it's hard to get down, even when there is plenty of room below.
Great night here tonight. Great space very good atmosphere. Only downside is it does get very hot on the floor otherwise awesome venue!
Great medium-sized music venue hosting bands from around the world. Standing space downstairs is great for being up close to the action, or standing upstairs beside the bar lets you get the best sound experience.
Very cool location there in an old converted cinema / theater. Acoustics pretty good. Admission is fast. Three bars.
Great music venue. Had a superb night with Exodus and Testament.
Went there for a few gigs and each time was quite impressive.Beautiful venue and great sound. Can not fault it.And pretty close to Camden Town for after and pre gig drinks,.
Saw some weird girl talking about university the whole show. She was a squeaker too!
Great, atmospheric venue. Up close and personal, not so big as to make feel left out like some places. Superb sound and general vibe. Great transport links for tube and main line trains too.
Saw the chats here, was amazing, loved the atmosphere and Brilliant staff
Great venue easy to get served even when really busy near the station.
Been going here since the 80's. This venue has and still hosts some of the best artists around from every genre. Check who's playing and get down there.
Not the greatest of venues but I saw Hoodie Allen here and overall, it was a good experience. Though I don't really understand why a lot of people opt for the upstairs seating.
Aside from that, drinks are reasonably priced inside and you there's enough space for a fairly decent amount of fans to enjoy some music :)
The staff of the venue didn't seem to care at all and the majority of people with seated tickets went downstairs into standing which left standing extremely cramped and dangerous. You could also walk up to seated from standing as nobody cared about what your ticket actually said. The venue was very cramped and the que to get in was huge with people getting to the venue early in the morning. Their are also no toilets whilst cuing so you have to go to a near by pub. Their isn't any parking so have to access the venue through public transport. Awful security. The bar staff and merch staff were a small amount and they were rushed off their feet but were friendly and efficient at their job. It was a good atmosphere. However the live sound was awful you couldn't hear the singer at all even standing in the front row. All you could hear was the bass of the songs.
I went here for a Zion T concert. Not a huge venue which was great as I could clearly see the stage. Great night out, easy location.
Small but functional structure, good acoustics and visibility from all points. If you are on an unreserved balcony, arrive early to be comfortable and choose your seat
Great gig venue, only in the UK can you get venues with such history.
Amazing looking building inside, I was on the balcony to see a band and it was one of the better experiences I've had, there was lots of room and viewing was good from almost every angle.
Would definitely come here again.
Reallly enjoyed this. Can't believe we could do this during these times. Made us feel human again
A great venue for live music, the bar staff work quickly to prevent queues getting silly. Despite this the wait is as long as at any gig, prices for drinks are reasonable for a central London venue. The sound and light kit is good and the way the crowd is divided up slightly prevents surges during gigs. The toilets are a pain to get to being at the back but you'll just need a strong bladder to watch long sets.
Fun venue. But no air con! We saw Tokio Myers with our teens in tow. It was a sweltering Friday night in April 2018. If there was air conditioning it wasn't working very well so we had to leave early as TM didn't appear until 9pm when doors opened at 7pm with tickets for upstairs unreserved seating which are all benches. If you get there for the main act you're way to late for seats and have to stand up in the Gods. It was fun people watching everyone who arrived from 8.30 hoping for seats, especially as they expected to get some the front of the balcony. When my husband and kids went to the loo I had to guard their seats ferociously! Also as a non-smoker the smoking area was right in front of the entrance doors so all the smoke came straight up into the balcony area and was totally unavoidable. Not at all nice especially for the kids in the audience.
I've seen a few artists perform there now, and I do like the venue. One of my faves!
This place is fantastic. Saw my favourite band Avantasia here twice.
Great venue, several bars with friendly staff and quick service!
This is a great place to see an act. It's spacious, well organised and no matter where you sit on level 1 you can still see the performance. The tube is on the same road so it's easy to travel to. I'm going back on February 11th!
Great experience over all seen one of my favourite bands at last 4 stars only cuz they ware late 35 min
Great venue for nights out and live concerts. Been in here a few times great atmosphere and suprisngly big inside!
The layout of this venue is not amazing for gigs, as in, if you get there late don't expect to be able to see much. Good sound though.
Good venue, went to see Flatbush Zombies
Has a seating area and a main standing area, to be closer to the act I recommend the standing area.
Small Victorian hall. Gorgeous architectural features although a little tired. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Drinks not too expensive and they allow you to have free tap water. A generally positive experience
Nice venue with a balcony and decent prices. Being of a decent size the sound does reverberate (echo) a bit.
Great venue. Nice layout with a bar either side. Good capacity without being too big.
Good security and visible security staff.
Screen advertising for up and coming events either side of the stage and a cloakroom. 1 entrance for guest list, 1 for stalls ticket holders and 1 for balcony ticket holders.
There is no readmission once you exit the venue and this is shown above each entrance.
One of the poorer music venues in London. I hadn't been here for a good few years but I soon discovered the same issues were still here. Aggressive security staff, a ridiculously slow cloak room set up and overpriced / understaffed bars. The toilets were still disgusting and haven't been renovated in decades. Unfortunately these negatives will prevent me buying tickets for this venue
It is the perfect smaller venue where can we the Band, not a screen as you do in larger venues, we had Accessible acess I am in a Wheelchair. This is the best view we have had, my carer and I, the disabled area is right next to the mixing desks so you are middle of the stage instead of being put un the sidelines.
The only downside is the ramp use for us to manoeuvre up to the toilet or merchandise the ramp is on the Cloakroom so at the end of the show you would normally have to wait until everyone has retrieved their coats, by a nice security man opened one of the side exits for us, and it was right next to my car. Top venue for the disabled Wheelchair users I wish more were like this, it was a truly memorable night.
Visited venue several times over the years to see rock/metal bands. Good well organised venue, medium sized but sound appears better down on the floor than on the balcony as it tends to echo around a bit upstairs.
I was there for Covid 19 test...everything goes in order everybody knows his task, was excellent.
First time in since refurb and new name. Still a great entertainment venue!
One of my favourite live venues in London. Saw Pusha T who was incredible. Always a bonus when you see they're playing 02 Kentish Town!
Long standing gig venue on the London circuit. Not the best place for getting a good view of the performers but it's size helps create atmosphere.
Awesome show (Papa Roach) but as usual, the sound was aweful for the support bands. Was better for the headline but could have been much better.
Tacky old venue. Perfect for all metal and rock concerts.
Went to see Alien Ant farm and had a fantastic time. Great venue with plenty of leg room to let loose.
Went to the venue to watch a spanish comedian, not bad, a bit cold with the aircon. Good overall
While the sound can be muffled and disappointing , this venue is one of the last one standing in London, the bookers are definitely deserving praise for bringing awesome bands to play there.
Good atmosphere. Easy to get a great view of the stage.
One of my favourite music venues. Great place to see live music.
Great facilities and great bars. Came for the HMA's stayed for the 2 Pint cups!
My favourite singer Leman Sam was super show super place
Saw Day6 there last night, the venue was amazing and small enough that even at the back of GA you're still in good view of the stage. The staff were incredibly kind when I ran off to the toilets feeling ill at the start of the show and the wonderful medics had me right as rain having only missed two songs!
Queued for 30 minutes in the guest list line for the Bradley Wiggins evening. Seems that no-one from venue management had worked out that 200 or so people would take a while to process so no special arrangements were made to deal with everyone. Great when I finally got inside though.
Relatively small London venue. Decent view even at the back
Third Eye Blind smashed it again for the 3rd time, still my favourite band and I'm never disappointed when I go to a gig at the forum, fantastic night
Great place for concerts. Lots of space. Bar is there too.
On this stage Babymetal is presented in July 2014, being on the 12th of the tour. This concert would initially be in the Electric Ballroom, but due to the success in sales, he moved here with greater capacity.
Yeah rate that I do. Need to get some more cider though
