Not a bad place. Acoustics were ok for the concert I went to but the main thing was the standing arrangement. My wife who was shorter could still see the stage at the back as the floor slopes towards the stage. Also nearby Kentish town station (5 mins walk)

Went to see De La Soul in May 2013.

The venue is a decent size, drinks are expensive (to be expected) and the staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about the venue itself.

The bands were great but the venue was stupidly hot. As expected getting to the bar was chaos, but the "no readmission" policy meant you couldn't escape from the unbearable temperature inside. The acoustics were average and the levels felt a bit off.

Acoustics are okay but even though it's a legendary venue for standing, two full bars is not enough for a sold out gig. Plus fights break out due to high congestion, and even with 7 bar staff per bar, it's not enough, even with 2 pint cups as a option. There's a shot bar but that's not helpful. No wonder people try to sneak in alcohol a lot, don't blame them. Also the barriers near the bars just add to the troubles.

We went to see the amazing Seun Kuti on the 23rd March at o2 in Kentish Town. The gig was promoted as an Afro Beat Night..."Event of the decade!" Who ever the promoter or the person responsible for organising the bands... Has no clue what so ever! It was no Afro beat night! People had to sit for six hours through and Listen to Music that they could not tolerate...at times it was impossible to remain in the auditorium. Many people left as Seun Kuti was scduled to play last! The atmosphere and Dj were irritating.... I will never go back to the o2 venue again.... false information!!!

Seen a few live acts there, it was okay. Can get very cramped up in there, but that's probably just me. Drinks are kinda on the expensive side, but it is London. Overall it's okay, nothing to actually complain about. Just okay.

Good venue to see bands, sound system is great, creates a loud atmosphere. There are a lot of pubs and restaurants all around the venue and the underground station is just over the road.

Good venue for medium sized concerts. I've been there a few times and every time the quality of sound was different though. It's quite cold inside so better for the lively gigs :) not great choice of beers.

great

A very good venue for an small intimate gig.

A very good venue for an small intimate gig.
We have just been to see Richard Ashcroft there and had an excellent night.

Only one small issue is that the cloak room is a little slow, it needs a rethink on how to run.

Really nice venue although not being able to bring in your own bottled water on a very hot night and having to pay their prices was a bit of a let down.. sparks in concert was brilliant

Totally unprofessional door staff with bad attitudes. The performance artists were top notch. Walter trout the main act gave a passionate speech about his recent health issues and wanted to meet the audience after the concert. An orderly queue was formed but clearly the security staff were very stressed about this and were talking to people very rudely and were agressive towards customers. Awful customer service and manners to several people who queued up patiently. Will be contacting the management of the venue to complain.
