Fortunate enough to get tickets for Eddie Izzard l...

Fortunate enough to get tickets for Eddie Izzard last Saturday, and Ricky Gervais last night, both at The Forum. These stand up gigs are trial events with small crowds of 600-700 all spaced out on portable chairs divided into groups that match your booking size. Of course now London is Tier 2, I could only attend with members of my household, so one ticket was wasted last night as the friend who was set to join us when I bought the tickets week before last, was no longer permitted to socialise with us indoors. I must say the venue have done a great job to make everything safe; electronic tickets, staggered entry times, socially distanced seating and toilets, sanitisation everywhere, one way system round the room and an app to order drinks to be delivered to your seats, so no need to fight at the bar! It worked really well for us both nights and all the staff were polite, welcoming and very helpful so I can't praise everyone enough for proving that live shows can resume safely if everyone follows the guidelines. We laughed more in two nights than we have the rest of the year combined, so the effect on our mental health had been immeasurable. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

Great venue, small enough to still be 'intimate' but with a banging sound system... I'm still feeling the bass a day later. Bar staff remained friendly throughout the evening despite being run off their feet. Would definitely recommend the place

Nice venue. I was in the balcony and the tiring is good so seeing the stage is not a problem. Sound quality and level was reasonable. At the back it was possible to hold a conversation and my ears arnt rining today. Unless Rob Zombie has started to get quiet that's probably down to the venue. If you want loud, getting nearer the stage should fix that. Several bars and loos too so you should not haveuch queuing to do.

Great venue, the seating was nice and comfortable, the acoustics were good, and it wasn't too big a venue but still drew a pretty big act (Zedd). I enjoyed the venue aside from the weird half lemonade taste in my water, it was very pleasant. Security was brief and easy and the will call was fast and efficient. The show was also great, and what more could you want.

Friendly bar staff, they let my partner taste some of the beer before she decided which one. Only thing that let it down was the sound wasnt the best up the front but that would change depending on the show

Extremely hot and staffed by the world's least empathetic security guards. Easily over 30degrees in the auditorium - which is fine, I get that it's an older venue and that's going to be the case - but security staff had zero interest in making sure people were safe and hydrated and lots of interest in making sure they stayed in the auditorium, rather than in the cooler and more comfortable lobby.

I've only been here a couple of times but the concerts are great here. They're a lot more intimate and you can get really close to the artists. The staff are great and friendly. They are quick to answer questions and show you where to go.
I would recommend bringing bare minimum when coming here as the Cloakroom can get quite busy after the show has ended.

I saw Porter Robinson and Madeon here and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, it was a fantastic small venue so felt very intimate. I only haven't rated 5 stars because I would have liked a bit more of a show as in lasers, small pyro or Co2 cannons as I'd seen in some of the videos from the tour being held in America. The door staff were excellent and the bar was very well run. Would return for sure!

Good venue just queueing times could be long especially when they closed one of the bars half-way through the gig. The levels go up as you go nearer the back so everyone could see, which I really like about venues like this and Brixton academy.

I attended this venue for Krept & Konan and I must say the staff were incredibly disrespectful towards my acquaintance also Krept & Konan are taking way to long to get on stage and Im incredibly bored this is unnaceptable you shouldnt attend a concert and be bored when it hasnt even started

One of London's 'super' venues, the Forum is situated in the shell of an old cinema just up the street from Kentish Town station. Host to lots of the biggest groups past and present do check out the decor when you go, which is centred around a rather startling Roman theme. There's a lovely tiled floor in the entrance area too. Do make sure that you have lots of cash in your pocket however, because they will try to make you part with the best part of a fiver for a can of lager..

It was pretty shabby. The seats didn't have back support. Drinks were kinda expensive but about what you'd expect. Lines for the bar are usually pretty long for the entirety of the show.

Interesting hall in the semicircle built large gallery with many seats. Sound ok. Entry was quick. I can't say anything about drink prices because I didn't buy anything.
Halle is easy to reach by underground.
Bars, fast food restaurants and grocery stores in the immediate vicinity.

Good venue.
