The staff were rude and treated our insect infestation like a joke. Finally until we put our foot down. They paid for our whole stay and for us to stay at a much cleaner place. I would never ever stay there again. And I don't recommend it at all.

Loved it. Too bad the Strasburg railroad stopped having the steampunk festival.

Great location near the Pennsylvania Rail Road Museum.

No WiFi in the room and the room had hair in the bathroom

I stayed at this hotel with my family because it was dog friendly and we were traveling with our dogs. First of all, the room was outdated and it smelled. Secondly, after staying at the hotel I noticed that I had bug bites on both my right arm and leg. I did not have these bites before staying at this hotel. I will never stay here again and would not reccommend that anyone stays here.

Have stayed here several times, great value. Rooms are nice, although a bit small if fitting 4 in them, staff is friendly and breakfast is great. All in all, great place to stay in the area.

Older hotel with reasonable rates in a quiet setting. When we checked in, the room wasn't what we had asked for, but the staff let us move to the correct room. First room was definitely older and the furnishings showed it. Although still dated, the second room was cleaner and in much better repair.

The 1200 building needs to be remodeled. It was dirty and falling apart. Carpet is stained, wallpaper peeling, bathtub and toilet need to be replaced, pen marks on bed, light switches that don't do anything... Also, there was only one bar of soap for our hands and the bathtub. Would be helpful if they provided 2 bars in the room. However, the people were nice, grounds were nice, and I would recommend it anyway.

I was there for one overnight for an event. The room was good for my roommate and I and had a fair amount of space. The beds we're comfy and he breakfast was nice. Nothing crazy but the facilities we're good

Quaint and lovely place. The breakfast was good. Only thing is that it is a little run down. We lost power in our room when I tried to plug in my camera charger. But it was resolved within like 10 minutes. The lady at the reception was sweet and very very cooperative. Live here if you wish to have a home like experience.

It's located perfectly for a day out with Thomas and a dinner out at the brewery. My chief complaint is the dirtiness. It seemed like there was no effort put into vacuuming the carpet. It turns white socks black and black socks invisible. Prior to checkout, I saw the 1979 Bissell vacuum they're still plugging in and pushing around (like it does anything). We won't be back on account of the dirt. You shouldn't have to keep your kids off the floor at all costs. Shampoo your frickin carpets. Use pert plus. Also, the air conditioner almost had the room cool after we left it on for 48 hours

A nice big room, friendly staff and a historic layout. Plus it's only 10 minutes from the outlets in Lancaster.

The room is decent. Not as clean as it should be, but passable. Good breakfast. Only complaint I had was they didnt make our bed at all or offer fresh towels without us asking for them. Never been to a hotel that didn't offer daily housekeeping.

It is an older hotel with updates. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The room, honeymoon suite, was absolutely lovely. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. All of the staff were very accommodating. Would recommend!

Hotel itself was a little old but nice. Went to a wedding on the property and it was just beautiful. Stayed the night and the only complaint would be extremely hard bed but spoke to others the next day who had very soft beds so I guess it just depends on what room you get.

We had a room facing the pool. Layout was different, but we really liked the hotel. Breakfast was good.

The staff were just the nicest people, and actually set up all my requests. Rubber Ducky's and a picture of Bill Murray. I have been to hotels around the world and not a single hotel has ever granted my requests. Great hotel, great room, mattress, and across the street from a pharmacy and gas station.

We've stayed at the Clarion at Strasburg quite a number of times in the last 5 years. Getting away from the overbuilding on Route 30 was a key. The close location to the Railroad and historic district itself drew us. The jacuzzi suites have tubs that actually can hold two people, unlike other places.

Very nice place to stay.The hot breakfast was really good,Rooms were clean and the staff were super friendly.Will be staying here again on our next visit.

Terrible still waiting on response feom buisness about there service and unexpected charges to my bank account

The room was alittle out of date but very nice and clean the bathroom was clean beside the tub they need a new on rust, broken pieces, tub just look dirty.

It most definitely needs some work, and not everything was clean.

A beautiful hotel overall. It has old school charm to it. Beautiful setting, from the pool to the hidden garden to the gazebo out front. It's a nice hotel to stay at while visiting the countryside. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Place is dated and rooms/ bathroom not to clean. Although it is close to shopping and easy to get in and out of. Breakfast daily in the tavern. Basic complimentary breakfast eggs,bacon, sausage, bread, ect.

Rooms are quaint but could use a little TLC! You get clean linens an towels, but the tub an refrigerator could both use a good cleaning! The employees are ( especially at the desk) very friendly an knowledgeable

Worst hotel stay ever! Don t be fooled by the quaint pics of the landscaping that s the only thing nice about this place. They should invest some money into the outdated and under maintained rooms than they do the outside in the back that no one even enjoys for more than a second when you walk by it to get to your room. This started with the pool not being open, no breakfast, no sauna etc when other hotels in the area for the same price that are nicer have the pools open I asked if they were discounting any because of the inconvenience I was rudely told the room prices have already been discounted. They were discounted by my job for a corporate rate not for any inconvenience sorry not the same thing. The room had a few towels and a half a roll of toilet paper for two people for three days. No extra rolls of toilet paper in the room for us to use and the fact that they left a used roll that a previous guest had used that who knows had what on their hands during a pandemic Good thinking! If I hadn t already had the reservation and been charged anyway I would have canceled. In reply to owners post I did tell the girl in check in I was unhappy and that I had checked with la Quinta who had better accommodations I was given no offer of a refund and was told I could have no discount because my room was already discounted I also told Lydia of my dissatisfaction of checkout and so did my mother. When I was telling her of the toilet paper she was looking at me blank faced and said we don t put new toilet paper in the rooms for guest I said that is ridiculous I had never been to a hotel that didn t and esp not only didn t replace the toilet paper roll but had left no extra rolls of tp either. She swiftly took the key from me and said I was checked out. I provided my own tp because I was unable to get ahold of anyone every time I called the number to the hotel it would ring and that would be all it would do and no one would be in the office.

this is the best place in Pennsylvania I'm on my way there right now

Our stay at this pet friendly hotel was not the best clean room. Really needed cleaned better. Toilet was very dirty around the floor. Mirrors were dirty with hand prints. Needs a lot of repairs to toilet and tub and baseboards really didn't think it was sanitized enough for the covid 19. So glad I took my own disinfect spray and wipes. Staff was nice

Nice cozy place with big rooms. Small outdoor pool good for cooling down after a long day of sightseeing. And it's really close to the Strasburg railroad. Another plus is the restaurant next door. The food is really good.

It is very quaint. Old building but well kept and clean. Gazebos. Very nice area and local activities.

We stayed here a couple years back and were very happy with hotel so we decided to stay again.
The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room however was not cleaned very well. I noticed these red stamp marks on the walls and decided to see if they were stains. They came right off with a wet tissue and should have been removed by house keeping. The room door handle was also visibly unclean and came off easily with a quick wipe.
This should've been cleaned before we were given the room.
They are nice and reasonably priced but should focus a little better on the cleaning.

Parking is terrible, room was dirty, Cobweb on window blinds, Lamp did not work. Bed was wobbly. TV did not work - and when called the front desk was told nothing could be done at that time. Booked with Hotwire - stay was prepaid and looked at credit card 3 days later and was charged $150.00 by them.????
Stay away if possible.
On a positive note - they do have a decent breakfast.

Comfortable beds, may or may not be haunted. Got to my room at 10:45pm and the water had recently been run in the bathroom sink.

Very nasty and thats all I'm going to say I won't be staying there again.

Old hotel but a great setting, well-kept landscaping, and friendly service. The views from the front of the hotel are fantastic!

Food was delicious, tried the nachos, crab cakes, and shrimp spaghetti. All were tasty! Service was excellent as well!
