Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa Review

This hotel was very nice staff was friendly they have a restaurant inside breakfast was BOMB!!!!

Across the bar great guest services. Every single person I encountered was so knowledgeable and helpful. COVID precautions are well enforced. Do not miss breakfast. It was phenomenal. Thank you, thank you to the staff for making my stay so comfortable. 10/10 will stay again.

My overall stay was pretty good. Let s start with the good; clean room, TV was pretty big, and all the things you would expect there to be in the restroom. (Lotion, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner). The comforters were super warm and felt as if they were weighted. Comfortable beds. Now let s go to the not so great. For Valentines weekend this place was cheaper than some of the local non-major chains. I still paid over $100 for the night. That being said you should think parking would be free and not $36. The room; the carpet to the room had spots where it felt sticky, not sticky like soda sticky. But sticky like dirty sticky if that makes sense. You could see the much darker areas of the carpet. My first room had a bathtub with about a 1/3 of water in it and what looked like either fecal matter or plumbing gunk. (Photo attached). I was upgraded to a room with a balcony. They were super quick at moving and upgrading.
Now for the moment of truth: I would rather pay the same price for some of the smaller locations I ve visited using this Hotel app. I ve not been disappointed by any of the hotels this far. If you would rather stay at these big chains by all means it s a great place. But I ve had better experience with the local mom and pop places. Happy hunting and rest easy my friends! Room was musty, door sticker was not placed correctly to let us know if the room was actually clean and sanitized. Towel had black mascara on it, AC made humming sound and didn't really cool room well and mattress was uncomfortable and concave. Staff was pleasant, though. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

They did book us the Excutive suite last minute as Crown Plaze gave our room away. Bed was comfy & view was good. Jet tub was the highlight.
Staff was so so. Kinda rude when asked to do anything.
Nice bar and excellent service from restaurant.

Call to desk had people next door moved, as they were attempting to open adjoining door between rooms at 2am. Parking was difficult to find in parking structure as it appears to be open to non hotel guests. Room was very good value, clean, and comfortable.

Love love love the Hotel . The size of the rooms! Fabulous ! The Staff could use a refresher course on what it is that a customer should mean to them .. aka job security bc u would think this T Gurl was wearing a t shirt that said "if u r nice to me I will infect u w this virus going around" seriously. I have had complete strangers on the street b more kind to me and I was not paying them.

My choice when staying in Costa Mesa. Great staff. Good hotel. Good food and fun bar. Clean and comfortable. Only comment is the parking charge at $36 a day. Not a fan of these charges especially for HH members. Also not a fan on trying to operate the shower. Feels like I was going to rip it out of the wall.

If you live locally and need a place to park cheaply, this is the place. Go online, look up SNA parking and choose Hilton Costa mesa. The staff is so nice and the free shuttle leaves on the 00s and 30s. Coming back, they pick you up on the 15s and 45s. It's so much cheaper and very convenient.

Was a really nice stay. Didn't realize parking was $36 per over night. Pool area looked nice (I wasn't able to swim when I stayed but I had a pool view). Staff was helpful.
