My overall stay was pretty good. Let s start with the good; clean room, TV was pretty big, and all the things you would expect there to be in the restroom. (Lotion, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner). The comforters were super warm and felt as if they were weighted. Comfortable beds. Now let s go to the not so great. For Valentines weekend this place was cheaper than some of the local non-major chains. I still paid over $100 for the night. That being said you should think parking would be free and not $36. The room; the carpet to the room had spots where it felt sticky, not sticky like soda sticky. But sticky like dirty sticky if that makes sense. You could see the much darker areas of the carpet. My first room had a bathtub with about a 1/3 of water in it and what looked like either fecal matter or plumbing gunk. (Photo attached). I was upgraded to a room with a balcony. They were super quick at moving and upgrading.
Now for the moment of truth: I would rather pay the same price for some of the smaller locations I ve visited using this Hotel app. I ve not been disappointed by any of the hotels this far. If you would rather stay at these big chains by all means it s a great place. But I ve had better experience with the local mom and pop places. Happy hunting and rest easy my friends!
