Beautiful place! Few dining options, especially the day of the Polynesian show at 95 dls.
Lovely place for the purest relaxation ... The splendid, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms to eat fantastic, I recommend half board.
Housekeeping stole my money and the hotel still hasn't resolved the issue
Expect to spend money, it is the best way to have fun here. Great hospitality, great food, great accommodation, great setting. I would recommend the north/north west facing huts overlooking the sea, they get more sun on the balconies throughout the day.
Beautiful as in paradise, a wonderful place to snorkel.
I had a great pleasure to spend a few wonderful days in the water house during September / October.
Around the house and under it there are many reefs, colorful fish and rays, and in the evenings there are sharks. Very nice Grill bar in the middle of the road between the houses on the water, it was under it in the evenings you could admire the most sharks. Cottages and terraces made for the best standard of privacy between guests, an additional terrace below the main one gives a great opportunity to admire the underwater life the water is soooo often calm as in the photos posted. The food was very good, the service was nice, the cleaning service appeared when we were not at the house, which gave us additional comfort (breakfast time, it never happened that any of the nice ladies disturbed our peace by knocking on the door).
Champagne and delicious cookies, which we were given to the cottage as a welcome, added an extra note of a great holiday
Important information for smokers, you can smoke everywhere, but not indoors, if this is reported at the reception, an ashtray will be waiting for you on the terrace on the table
Great hotel, nice rooms and people are really nice, but this place is in desperate need of repair. They have tarps on the roofs to keep them from leaking - big holes in the grass roofs everywhere.
Great hotel with nice snorkeling under bungalows. Breakfast buffet is great. Wifi is so so here but who cares you re in FP.
Poisson cru is great here. Beach is clean and easy to snorkel all around to see many things (unlike bora bora). Easy to rent kayaks and SUP. Nice thing about this area is that it is very shallow for a long way so you can walk a bunch of it if you want.
Some caveats:
1. If you are not over the water and on sides of hotel in beach bungalows, would will hear the most annoying roosters starting at 5 am and WILL NOT GET SLEEP. Our friends had these and it was insane the noise.
2. Service is so so honestly. I didn t get a lei coming or leaving and others did. They don t have luggage storage and very easy to steal luggage if someone wanted. How do I know?!I walked over to open my bag and no one cared. Our friends had their luggage accidentally taken to airport by wrong cab driver because they were all piled there and not organized.
3. Front desk staff not friendly but rest of staff were. Maybe they were stressed about so many arrivals and departures seems under staffed.
Not really big issues here except watch your bag and don t get a room near the borders of hotel where roosters are!!
Amazing and beautiful place to stay. Every single staff member greeted with a smile and nothing was ever a problem. Highly recommended.
Absolutely beautiful place. I was on the plane writing my review and didn't get the opportunity to write a full review. This place is a definite must visit. The food, the service, the views, the staff were all above my expectations. My wife and I cant wait to return.
I would have given 5 stars, because the hotel and the resort is really beautiful. Our superior villa with pool gave us the privacy we were looking for. It was freshly renovated, very clean. The bar and the restaurants were nice but the beach restaurant had less tasty dishes what you would expect. I would definitely employ a new chef. The service was really bad, many times happened that we got the wrong dish and they were very unmotivated and in general bored. My other problem was the non-welcoming behaviour at the reception. When we arrived nobody took care of our luggages and we were waiting several minutes at check-in there the ladies had fun with each-other and nobody even said a simply hello. Bad management. The Gym was very simple with few instruments and no view. Anyway we really had a great time and enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful resort.
Great location.. best over the water bungalows.. loved our stay
Very disappointed by this establishment. The staff is friendly and very professional, but the food is just filthy. Really disgusting pizza, hamburger overcooked bun, random meat cooking, cold fries. For other dishes like swordfish and chicken fafa, it's really nothing more. Rates are high for not much. In point of view of decor and restoration Sofitel is largely above.
Very exclusive and expensive, but nice to eat there or just go for a coffee. The crepes restaurant on the water is extremely good but pricey - you can watch sharks swimming underneath while you eat!
Wonderful hotel with amazing snorkeling. We can't wait to go back.
Great service, with very kind and very helpful staff. Superb breakfast and good restaurants. Excellent SPA
Nestled between two bays on the heart-shaped island of Moorea and set against a beautiful mountain backdrop which melts into a crystal clear lagoon, Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa is the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The More
Great service, the overwater bungalows are amazing, service is a bit slow, but that seems to be the norm on the island :-)
Lived up to the high expectations we had. Guests services are very friendly & accommodating
Good spot. It didn't wow us but we also had no major hiccups. I'd recommend it to folks as spot solely as a place to rest between outdoor excursions and dinner reservations.
Beautiful location, food and drinks! We stayed in a bungalow over the water. Having a baby with us it was perfect, as he sleeps during the day we were in paradise.
Super spot and resort ... eating on the pontoon at night is a great experience even when you're not in the hotel .... except for the wallet ... pancake at 30 ...
Beautiful views, warm water, warm and inviting staff.
Everything from the service, the staff, our bungalow, the food, the CREPES, the amenities, Belvedere and the rain were exemplary ! Rachel at the activities desk was #1....Rose Richmond the hotel manager .... Moana and all the food servers all gracious & wonderful ..
I will be back again next January!
MARURU!!

Amazing grounds, lots to do an be entertained with. You can rent a scooter and go around the island 1 day. Watch the trainers feed the dolphins, see the recovering turtles, kayak or paddle board in the beautiful Lagoon. We just visited the grounds but did not rent a room, I would like to stay there in my future trips to Moorea.
Beautiful, absolutely amazing, service was impeccable, kids loved it, jet skiing around the resort, safe and secure, thank you see you next time
Highly recommend this place. The water is beautiful. We stayed in an overwater bungalow. It was incredible being able to swim right from the room. The snorkeling was great right from the room. The water was chest deep and beautiful. The hotel itself was very nice as well. Moorea was our favorite part of our trip to Tahiti. I would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful location, friendly staff, great snorkeling, and amazing service (you will probably need it especially if you booked through an agency)! Spend the extra $$ and come here!! We went to the intercontinental for an excursion and it was a sad sight compared to the Hilton!
Great hotel with friendly staff. The over water bungalows are great for snorkelling from. There's a huge coral garden right out front that covers hectares and hectares. It's all just standing height deep (unless you are short haha) so it's a perfect snorkelling slot for beginners. The water is crystal clear and calm so you can kayak and stand up paddle board, but stand up paddle boarding although super hot and fashionable right now, seems like a very inefficient way to get around.
Outstanding location and wonderful service. We're still new guests, but the location is as magnificent as we hoped it would be. The over-water bungalows are breezy and calm. We could stay here forever (if we could afford it....)
Informal luxury in idyllic surroundings. Swim in the lagoon whilst watching surf breaking on the protective reef. Paradisical!
Hello
We had booked well in advance 4 nights in May 2017 at this hotel. But a firefighters strike blocked us on the island of Huahine. We were unable to reach Moorea. The problem is that Hilton takes the entire stay on booking. Since we could not go there we asked at least one commercial gesture, indeed we did not cost them anything, we were not present. To our dismay, nothing, just a letter saying it was not their fault! we thought, naively, that this chain could afford to make a move - we can not comment on the hotel, but we can say that commercially it's ZERO! Perfect for a honeymoon. We loved all nine days we spent there.
Beautiful views, excellent service, and the food was exceptional.
A dream setting, but in real life. Always on a small cloud.
Place is nice but definitely does not feel like a 5 star resort. Service is ok not great and for 5 stars such as at the intercontinental in Bora Bora, service is far better. Even though we were diamond members they said they couldn t upgrade us. Service wasn t always that friendly. Someone below mentioned they don t treat you as well if you don t have an over water bungalow and I believe that is true, despite that all rooms are still super expensive. Found a massive dead cockroach when we checked in. Property is nice but we did not receive a 5 star treatment. When we left intercontinental they wanted our feedback and wanted to make sure that as members we felt recognized, this Hilton didn t seem to really care or ask. Next time I would try intercontinental
Just Hilton. Nice beach. All entertainment. Canoeing, surfing, masks, flippers .... free bar in the room. The restaurant is expensive. But on Moorea (Tahiti) everything is expensive. Fed for breakfast is very tasty and a lot. Quiet.
By far, our most favorite place. We even loved it more than Hawaii. It is so peaceful. A quiet, smaller resort than we have stayed before, which is just what we needed and wanted. Not much to do, but that was fine with us.
Another hotel that won't let me choose the date of my actual stay. Why Google why?
A good combo of laid back, not too touristy, yet in the thick of things. Can book excursions from the hotel here. Did the sharks and rays feeding/swimming with thing.
Did two nights in a king bungalow (not on water) but viewing the lagoon. Perfect access. Like how the tub and shower are separate. Toilet is in a whole other area too which also is great. Solid room. No issues with anything and great service all around.
Hilton is a solid brand, has tons of amenities, yet usually very well priced. This was more of the same and worth a look.
Excellent.
Very nice.Good going . Lagoon is literally like aquarium with so many fish.
Great location. Needs some work to bring it back to 5 stars. Staff friendly but not overly helpful. Location 5 star, food, accommodation amenities and the rest 4 star.
Very good. We went with my 6-year-old daughter .. I have a great time and that's enough for me.
To comment ... improve the food (normal) in relation to the price. I asked for a Hilton Burger for her and she came to the middle ... Those things should not happen in this kind of place ... but it does not make me sleepy.
It was beautiful! We loved our stay here. Staff was helpful and nice. Grounds were very well kept. Free snorkle, paddle board, canoe. Food was very good. Breakfast was great. And the view...
Good place to stay - make sure you book over water villa!
Very friendly staff... Rooms are clean... Beach was beautiful...
Amazing place for the honey moon - great service - not as upscale as the Conrad - but you do expect it.
Very beautiful corner of the world. We had the best holidays.
nice hotel .beautiful buffet on saturday night. a plus for the creperie on the pontoons that opens the evening
Heaven on earth. Warmth service. We had an amazing time there on our honeymoon. Can t wait to go back soon.
Even if the Japanese staff were kind and couldn't speak difficult English, I was able to stay comfortably.
We had the best ever experience here, I surprised my girlfriend at the time with a secret proposal and we paid for the bungalow meal which you leave the room and they go in and decorate it put a table in there flowers champagne the perfect scenario for a secret proposal. We had our own waiter and he was on another level for professional he got pictures of everything which we will remember forever and he also didn t even know what we looked like and drove a golf buggy and picked us up on the way back to the room and just said I know who you are I was shocked such excellent service we wish we could afford to come here again!! We would be here all the time if we could ! Loved it thank you so much Hilton Moorea and staff!
Amazing!! Best of all of french polynesia as far as we're concerned. Easy to get to everything, super friendly staff, really great food, moderate prices (hawaii--comparable).
The water was great, awesome for snorkeling. Really cool things to see around the island. A lot of the restaurants will come pick you up from your hotel. Of all the places we stayed (including st. Regis nora bora) this was by far our favorite and we'll be coming back soon!!
P.s....get the breakfast buffet option with your room.... it's plentiful and the food assortment is expansive and delicious. You wont regret it... any of it
Beautiful resort, tiny beach, eating with little choice
Everything in the hotel is wonderful. But because we trusted too much we left the wallet in the suitcase and saw at the airport that they stole 300 dollars, some employee stole. We woke up to a girl who at 6pm in one of our rooms knocked on the door offering a towel, and we had not asked and the room was already clean, we suspected she was wondering if there was anyone in the room before entering to steal more of our money. But we are not sure if it was her, the only certainty is that some employee stole us.
It has the best overwater bungalow in Moorea. There is a lot of meat in clean sea. The sea is not deep enough to snorkel right in the overwater bungalow. For those who go to the new! Upgrade!
Overall the atmosphere was friendly and especially the concierge staff was very exciting and funny, and meticulously caring and guiding me, I was able to have fun while in Moorea.
Compared to this place, I do not think Bora Bora is better than that. The size of the resort itself is small, but the island is bigger than Mourea Bora Bora. There are as many variations as you can see. Finally, the lagoon here is also beautiful enough.
If you come back to Tahiti, look here and you will not come here.
Excellent service and atmosphere! Highly Recommended!
The hotel said, "I don't like Japanese and Chinese."
Partly due to the influence of COVID-19, he said with a disgusting face, "Did you come from Japan?"
It's French-speaking, so if you speak French, it will be very friendly.
The food is outstandingly delicious at every restaurant.
Hotel: had a garden bungalow
We loved our room. Cozy romantic. Having your own private pool was incredible.
The service at the resort was great. Everyone was friendly. Smiles everywhere.
Spa: we did the anto-jet lag treatment. a must the moment you land! Juliette and Elodie were magical.
What an amazing experience! There s no other way to describe it. I could use the word dreamy... yeah that works perfect. Beautiful place and experience. I would only say, if your visiting from another country, be respectful & responsible. Leave your attitude at home. Trust me, if you don t, you WILL standout & not in a good way. This is paradise, bring your A game. If someone cuts in front of you or has an attitude, take the high road... let em. I only saw one person who was oblivious. Trust me, he stood WAY out. I understand this is rare though. This is truly Paradise! Swim right off your deck. Fish galore. It s like swimming in an aquarium.
quiet, typical place of the Polynesian islands not missed
Excellent resort. Friendly staff and great food. Lagoon around the overwater bungalows is filled with beautiful coral gardens and plenty of ocean creatures. Prices for food and accommodations compatible with other resorts in the area.
Bad. A star is too much, if I could not have put even one I would have done it.
Grumpy staff, often not even saying hello, the room was made either early in the morning around 8 (and they knocked on you until you woke up) or at 6 in the evening when maybe you wanted to rest or were washing. Not to mention they sometimes forgot to put clean towels on and so you were forced to look for someone for the resort to bring them to you or call reception. At breakfast and lunch we were in the company of pigeons that roamed and climbed on the tables and none of the staff did anything, the tables were always dirty. The most striking thing was the massage that we had booked on January 3 for January 5 (being the 4 full), we were 1 hour at the reception to book it (a treatment from 450 ) only to find out arrived at the spa the day in which we had to do it that the young lady we spoke to (a blonde girl with a scar on her lip) had forgotten to book it. And this is supposed to be 5 star ??? I'm sorry but I've been around a lot and this could be 3 stars at best. I would never recommend it to anyone. Especially for the honeymoon.
heavenly place bungalow ok and well designed with small private pool. Simple little problem when arriving a window that did not close. Immediately repaired five minutes after our call (bravo).
This place is top notch. That's all I can say. Staff is the best too. Everything was excellent. This is living. And everyone needs to check out a sunrise here, better than sunsets imo
Most beautiful hotel in Moorea and service at the top
They do everything right, food, service, location, and setting is fabulous.
We are LIFETIME devotees of not only this hotel but Hilton in general. We were booked into this hotel for a week when the pandemic hit, tying up $30,000 between flights, a cruise, and this hotel reservation and the only booking we received our money back for, no questions asked, was this Hilton hotel. Ironically it was a no cancellation reservation, yet the cruise and flights which we had cancellation clauses fought us for up to 5 months before making good on the policy. Hilton is number one in our life of travel from now on!
