Beautiful hotel. A great place to stay when in Venice.
Beautiful hotel. A great place to stay when in Venice.
A beautiful hotel located on a separate island, built after an old mill, extremely atmospheric place and its own transfer to San Marco, I highly recommend it.
Was a good place. Didn't really spend a lot of time there but the bar at the top had a nice feel to it.
Great views, rooms are very nice, breakfast not included
We stayed 7 nights and had a fantastic time! I want to acknowledge and thank the entire staff - from the smiley and helpful front desk staff to the concierge but also to the great guys at the roof top pool that try to accommodate everyone s request. In this special COVID-19 context also a special thanks to the guys from the breakfast that had to run back and forth between the tables and the buffet. The hotel boat shuttle is also very convenient way to get out of Giudecca.
Overall I would not recommend this hotel for the price its quality was a disappointment. See my pros and cons below for a more detailed description of the hotel.
Pros: comfortable bed, great location (quiet and calm), strong wifi, private water shuttle to main island for guests (costs extra though), high quality towels, awesome rooftop bar, spacious lounge in lobby.
Cons: staff was hit or miss some were great while others were almost rude, room was not well taken care of (I m taking a toilet that creaked and felt like it was going to break every time I sat down, ripped drapes, and a huge stain on the carpet), layout is weird and confusing, AC barely works in rooms I had it on the coldest setting and still woke up sweating.
A bit "away from it all", and suffers from typical US big-box hotel syndrome. In the evenings you need to really plan quite hard to escape from the hotel for the evening, thanks to its remote location. Annoying lack of free wifi.
Nice hotel, clean big away from the crowds. Free shuttle boat to main plaza. Good executive lounge open late. Enjoyed the stay.
This hotel is on giedecca island which will lose you over 3-4 hours in travel time over a weekend, by waiting for their shuttle service and travelling on it. Plus they sell 500ml bottled water for 6, it's only 0.50cent in the supermarket 5mins from the hotel. You're made to feel like just a room number and not a guest. Their concierge service was lazy and unhelpful to our questions, their breakfast is over priced considering what is offered.
A stunning hotel with a stunning view from their Skyline bar on the 8th floor (Despite the bad for we experienced). The hotel is neatly tucked away from all of the tourist hustle and bustle. An added bonus, whether you're using the hotel's restaurant, bar or you're a staying guest, the boat trip to and from San Marco is free! I enjoyed my Green Passion Cocktail and the customer service, if I ever return to Venice this is where I will be staying!
This hotel not tell exactly how to reach their property, specially when you are first time visiting venezia. I am nearly give up as I come midnight and don't know how to
amazingly comfort and excellent pool with amazing view
beautiful hotel on the island of Giudecca. generously sized rooms, a beautiful rooftop that in the evening offers a splendid Venice skyline
ok it is an Hilton but for a five stars hotel i would expected more in term of room furnitures, not really up to date, carpet everywhere, not enough electric sockets (in my room just one very far away from the bad), the views from the room is nothing special. the gym is very small and the spa is even smaller. the view from the skybar is very beautiful and also the outdoor swimming pool is super cool. all in all nice place but for that price, you can have something much better. last thing, don't forget you are in the Giudecca island not directly connected with Venice (but the hotel offers a free connection by boat at some specific time)
Far from everything! More than an hour to get to city center by boat! Only one way boat which tends to be totally packed in rushing hours!
5 star hotel to a good one in Venice, highly recommended.
Very high level structure.
The most beautiful terrace overlooking the lagoon. Fantastic dance floor room for international competitions
This place was amazing! Very clean. Very comfortable. The concierge was beyond helpful. The hotel has a free shuttle back and forth to the main island. Very convenient. Found out from the concierge, that the hotel also offers a free taxi back and forth to the Murano Glass factory. The nutella bar was delicious, besides that I saw afterwards that the espresso was 5 Euros... The building itself is beautiful, and the rooftop pool was an amazing view.
fabulous location and spectacular views of Venice. They are personally not to my taste the rooms that I find old, should be restored. The restaurant offers a high standard of cuisine and very good
Quiet from all touristy buzz and amazing views, includes free shuttle to san marco and airport
Excellent roof top bar with panoramic views over the Giudecca
Excellent experience and looking forward to coming back with my friends!
The hotel view and location is great , however I had the worst experience ever. My wallet got stolen from my bag that was in my room in the hotel and no proper action has been taken. In fact, I got a comment that as long as the wallet wasn't kept in the safe, the hotel isn't responsible as if I am staying in the street with no secure or safety rules and housekeeping staff aren't part of the hotel staff, they are outsourced!!!!! What a justification and all what the hotel has offered is to wave our room charges, which won't ever compensate what I have lost from money or personal belongings or experience over couple of days I have spent. I haven't felt secured , safe or happy in the hotel and I will never be back again!! There are no cameras or certain policies or rules to protect the guests. In my view, this is encouraging unacceptable behaviours/stealing to be demonstrated with no serious action toward theft cases!!!!!
A great, superb hotel. Excellent breakfast. I had the impression that we were in a palace of history.
Nice hotel, well rebuilt ... but for five stars the service lacks the finishing touches ... otherwise Italian tried and high prices!
I ve been to Venice four times and have stayed at the Molino Stucky for the last two visits, and will continue to stay there every time I visit in the future. I absolutely love it. Quiet, clean, and modern hotel in great location close to a supermarket and some fantastic restaurants. The hotel also runs direct boat to the other side of the canal which is really handy, and there is also a Vaporetto spot very close to get you anywhere you need to go. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious, with lovely bathrooms - mine had both a bath and a shower, which was great. Couldn t recommend a better place to stay in Venice.
Amazing service
Amazing drinks
Amazing food
Amazing hotel
Amazing location
The building has undergone an incredible restoration where they certainly have not spared. The conference area has splendid chandeliers and rugs. The lounge area is beautiful and the view over Venice is spectacular. More
Nice hotel in a quieter part of Venice. The service was wonderful and the restaurant out front was fantastic.
I loved this place for the location, service, room, amenity, rooftop bar, interior of the hotel, and the private shuttle to San Marco(8.5 euro flat per day) and also airport shuttle available right in front of the hotel entrance for 15 euro (one way). I would definitely come back to this place!!!!
This hotel is a Hilton and in that has everything you would expect from a Hilton, but in saying that, this hotel is so much more. Firstly the staff are all so professional and friendly nothing is too much. The location is just stunning with views of one of Venice prettiest views. The rooms are large and clean and we'll equipt and we had the nice tough as it was our anniversary we had a nice note and a drink in the room when we checked in. The lessure and pool area was great and the pool area is just stunning. It is on the roof and gives you the best vista possible to see the city. Finally the breakfast is the best I have had in a hotel in a very long time, the choices are amazing as are the staff, we will be back.
Nice and central for tourists to Venice. Also the Skyline rooftop bar is nice for drinks and the ambience is spot on.
Recently spent a few days here. Excellent location away from the crowds. Just a short boat ride to all the Venice sites. Love the view across the channel and the sound of the church bells drifting across the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
What to say about the Molino Stucky in Venice meanwhile we say that seen from the Giudecca canal is to be breathless a majestic work restored to the smallest detail meticulously rendered to the splendor worthy of the serenity Venetian Maritime Republic a heartfelt thanks to the Hilton family who with their money has made possible the restoration of this artistic piece that is part of the puzzle of the lagoon city of Venice, heritage of humanity.
The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic. But as soon as I entered the room, I saw half a bottle of mineral water left by the previous person. Is this a disappointing low-level error that also shows that they have not been deeply cleaned? Why is there such a problem in a five-star hotel?
Great location, great rooms and very friendly and very helpful staff. Despite Corona limitation, the best hotel experience ever. thank you
Stil hotel built in a former mill building. Excellent location on Giudecca is easily accessible from Vaporetto no. 2 or free hotel shuttle. Rooms spacious but paper walls without soundproofing, so the romance of a tent camp where you can seamlessly engage in a neighbor's dialogue. Breakfast standard quality, but a choice of small and almost no fresh vegetables. The price of bars and restaurants is high (9 beer, 16 cocktail), but it is a standard in a better quality restaurant in Venice. If you park in the Tronchetto garage, drink a 15% discount on parking fees before leaving. The hotel bill is not enough, but no one will notify you in advance.
This is a crowded family hotel posing as a luxurious getaway.
An upscale hotel in Venice, there are worse but more expensive hotels in the city. What is really wonderful, on the 8th floor there is a sky bar. Here you can overlook all of Venice. The interest is that the Hilton Hotel also has its own dock for boats. I highly recommend it! With an Aperol Spritz in hand.
Fantastic hotel with its own water taxi to main island
Very beautiful hotel, stunning, very stylish decor, incredible staff and they welcome us very well. Loved the food. Very comfortable room and magical view. Loved Venice and staying at this hotel made the visit even more romantic, glamorous and unforgettable. Thank you.
Remarkable hotel in a remarkable location. Not cheap, but nothing in Venice is ...
Beautiful building in La Giudecca with the big Venice opposite. An old and grand factory of pasta reformed by the Hilton group that has done well on the outside and malnpor inside. The interior of a luxury cathetus and without charm. But the rooftop pool watching La Dogana and San Marcos makes up for everything. Tomate a spritz watching the sunset. Good breakfast, at the height of its stars and comfortable beds, that's what it's about. Whoever is in La Giudecca is a positive point, because it is the real Venice, without hordes of tourists, with genuine restaurants. Very well connected to the hotel with San Marcos with private shuttle.
excellent from all points of view
very well organized
quality staff
The hotel is beautiful BUT the value for money is bad. We booked a room at 300 / night and the wallpaper was peeling off, the aeration was making a noise of work (impossible to sleep) and the door frame was not fixed and hanging happily. After long negotiations with the hotel, we ended up being moved to another room ... the said room was actually what we had booked either a room with a view, a real view. So we had to complain in order to get what we originally paid for.
Beautiful building, a mill at the origin. The transformation is particularly successful. Exceptional welcome.
Hotel rooms are clean and nice. Roof terrace was closed so we are not allowed to even walk in the terrace. No water in the rooms provided you have to pay 6.00 for water. Also lack of milk and coffee in the rooms poor.
Amazing view!! Perfect to watch the sunset.
Incredible cocktails, a little expensive but delicious.
The hotel has a great connection to the yacht.
Outside the window, I saw that the scenery in Venice is very beautiful.
The front desk staff is very friendly and professional
Check in: usual process.
Room: at first we got the nice room with terrible smell. After our request, we got it changed to another one, though smaller and much less beautiful. Finally, we got assigned to Executive suite. It had a separate living area and a kitchenette (useless in our case). The rooms in general were ok, but nothing special. No spectacular interiors there.
Lounge: it's really nice that there is one, however it's one of the more miserable lounges in the industry :) Just a separate area behind the glass wall in the lobby. However it had some snacks, drinks and nice coffee for take away.
Hotel location: on a separate island in Venice. It means that it's slightly harder to get there. It has its own shuttle boat which takes to main islands, however only to a one specific location (two in the evening), which mean that if you want to explore Venice, be prepared for a lot of walking. The hotel is on the edge of the island, with beautiful views to canal.
Breakfast: slightly below expectations. Can be crowded, not the best service, nor the choice of food.
Bar: hotel has nice bar at the roof, with beautiful views. Otherwise, mediocre price/quality ratio. It also has a pool nearby (on the roof); it was closed during winter season.
Overall: 3/5. Experience was ok in general, service was nice. There were few quibbles though, which left only average impression of this hotel.
Awesome hotel. Short (free) ferry ride from hotel to San Marco Square docks. Nice to be out of the madness in quiet location just across the water at night, but easy 10 min ride across via regularly scheduled ferry that ran up until late at night.
Hotel is clean, professional, staff were friendly and helpful. Checkin and out were a breeze, executive lounge on 1st floor looking out over water from some windows. Great experience.
Awesome hotel. Short water shuttle ride to St. Marks square.
Unique place of its kind, historic location with incredible views of Venice and the lagoon. Helpful, welcoming and professional staff.
one of the hotels that offer spectacular views of Venice and its lagoon from its rooftop terrace !!!
The hotel staff is absolutely unfriendly and was sloppy when we came across the room, which in no way corresponded to the description on Booking.com (more like a prison on the 7th floor about 20 square meters with a very small window on the brick facade about 5 m opposite) , was complained by us and then canceled due to the allegedly impossible change.
However, the hotel debited and pocketed the amount. And then just leave us standing on the island at 6 p.m. without a hotel!
Never again Hilton .........
Extraordinary hotel with a spectacular view over venetia. Boats leaving to venetia every 20 minutes and the rooftop wih a pool is just a wonderful piece of architecture. Unfortunately our dinner did not correspond with the price of the hotel, bc we were served warmed up potatoes and stiff meat. Apart from that we had a nice experience.
Great view, Great cocktails order a smokey old fashioned for the theatre of it all
One of the best Hilton Hotels in the world. 3rd visit and every time is incredible.
Views from the corner suite 616 are spectacular, ask for an upgrade upon arrival for HHonors Diamonds.
Nice executive lounge, access on first floor.
Breakfast in the restaurant is complementary for HHonors Diamond members.
The rooftop pool is a great place to get a 360 degree view of the area.
Lovely hotel with such a beautiful view, just a shame there is nowhere to change and shower before you go home.
Beautiful rooms with lovely views of the canals! Exceptional focus on detail. Staff are multilingual and if you don't mind that no one rushes in Italy then you can leisurely enjoy every meal or trip to the bar.
All I needed was the bar service. The waiter didn't even know the wines he served. And the music ..... high and inadequate, ruinous for the atmosphere created by the wonderful panorama
Magnificent structure. Friendly staff. Perfect rooms
Beautiful hotel located on the Giudecca island. The structure is splendid, large rooms and very comfortable beds. The lounge is a bit small and on the ground floor. The Skyline rooftop bar has a splendid view of Venice. The prices are obviously high. Breakfast is excellent. Murano tour recommended. The only problem is the bad smell in the room caused by the variation of the tides, but unfortunately in Venice it is normal. The view is wonderful. The shuttle service to reach San Marco is very convenient. Cost 7.5 EU per adult for the stay.
Excellently scenary and the breakfast is phenomenal. I have never seen a hotel that prepares freshly made fruit juices on the spot until this one.
Magnificent, beautiful with a breathtaking view of the Giudecca canal, two fabulous days, a unique and unrepeatable experience.
To try to believe, to write something else is superfluous, the reality far exceeds the imagination.
One of the best! Incredible view, excellent staff and enjoyed the location being off the main island. Loved the vintage feel with modern amenities. The roof pool was awesome!
Was recommended the sky bar and visited for a drink on my wife's 30th, the evening of April 10th. There was no room on the terrace, so we requested the host alert us when a table became available. About four groups and couples arrived after us, and we were distressed to see each one was being shown outside once a table became available. I tried to beckon the gentleman's attention, and was swatted away with the wave of a hand as he went to alert yet another group (that had arrived after us) that a table was available outside. At this point I was quite fuming, my wife had to walk up to the host to ask why we were being ignored... But he couldn't have cared less. I have a lot of respect for Hilton hotels having had to stay in them almost weekly from traveling for work and even having stayed in the Waldorf Astoria when visiting New York. The treatment received during this visit made me question my loyalty towards Hilton. If you can actually get a seat, and endure the snobby behaviour of the waiting staff, it's worth a visit for the view alone.
Great hotel very eccentric not very warm. The roof top with its swimming pool offers a splendid view of Venice when it is accessible and not privatized!
Need to take shuttles at specific times to get to the center of Venice.
In short, if you are looking for an impersonal hotel building in America, this one will be perfect ....
