Hilton Malta Review

We loved everything about the hotel... the decor, atmosphere, the service was impeccable and the staff super friendly and efficient. We will definitely recommend this hotel again and it will always bring back wonderful memories of our time in Malta.

Superb service and facilities :-) loved the mulled wine offered in the Christmas period

After staying at the hotel for three days, the lobby has been beautiful and comfortable. The waiter is professionally and carefully arranged to stay. The children receive a very intimate gift and like it very much. The room is clean and spacious, the terrace looks out, it is the inner pier and the scenery is beautiful. Hotel buffet breakfast, a wide variety, standard work.

I attended a presentation event (which was expertly organised) in the Grandmasters Suite.

The venue is gorgeous. Great atmosphere.

Meanwhile, trying to enter the Malta Hilton site is a complete bore. It would be nice if the rudely insistent cookies pop up box was made more inviting. Using the word MUST to a site visitor is a definite no-no..

The deluxe sea view room with king is beautiful. The staff is fantastic and will do everything to make your stay wonderful. The location is great with many restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast offered by the hotel is very good.

Nice room, a little dated, but comfy and clean. Bed is good. Breakfast is ok, reasonable choice and quality. Coffee is bad. They need to work on their service and friendliness though! It doesn't help being unfriendly and spoils the overall experience...

The hotel is still a reference in Malta. Its location in the Portomaso complex, its views of the sea and its outdoor and indoor pools create a relaxing atmosphere. Your gym is spectacular, with directed classes and many activities. It has several restaurants, a free buffet with theme nights, a fish restaurant in the outdoor area and the famous Thai restaurant Blue Elephant, a reference of Thai cuisine. The staff very nice and helpful. Essential English To thank the valet service so difficult to find already, in many 4 and 5 stars. To mention some detail the bar closes a little early at 11:30 pm. The price-quality ratio is correct. A little shot the previous one of the consumption of drinks especially alcoholic in the Hotel. Together with Corinthia and the Intercontinental it continues to be a benchmark for Malta.

Amazing place which has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff, fabulous rooms with a sea view. Food was good with a wide range for breakfast. Pool snacks were available although the fixed menu was a bit elaborate over the course if a week. Only downside was that access to the sea for swimmers was not available but with 4 pools there were plenty of alternatives including an adults only infinity pool.

The best thing about it is that its entire room is directly on the sea
The rooms are spacious and the colors are very comfortable on the eye

Stayed with my family for 10 days over the Christmas period. One of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in - the staff are outstanding, and the hotel has great facilities and a superb location close to Spinola Bay. Highly recommended.

A nice hotel, kind staffs but terrible room service.It seems like Hilton has low standards about the dining.

We went to Hilton just for an evening tea. The inner architecture and the view of the pool were beautiful and we enjoyed the tea. The bounty cake was just average though and i expected more.

Attended the FHRD Conference and was impressed with the venue. The staff were proficient, friendly and helpful.

Check in was great, wasn't able to accommodate a king bed although my boyfriend and i were staying together.
Food was amazing at the lobby bar, tuna sandwich was great - smoked salmon was too!

Second day we found a cockroach in our room and Ryan from the front desk didn't delay in making it right. He upgraded us, he moved our rooms quickly and followed up to ensure we were settled and satisfied.

Chris who is the bar manager of I think all of the bars was incredible too - he made sure we had blankets to stay warm when the sun went down.

Great trip, great location of the hotel to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife! Ryan and Chris made our stay perfect!

Also, The Blue elephant was one of the best thai places i've eaten at!

Lovely looking hotel in a great location by the marina. No, usual, five star champagne greeting which I was surprised by! Breakfast vast and dining rooms very large and well run. Pool areas well maintained and run. Would say food and drink a little on the expensive side. Rooms are gorgeous, well proportioned and serviced daily.

It's a Hilton in Malta, not the best area...good if you like kebab shops

I was sad to go on a bad day but the large pool and views were nice (coffee costs about 3.5 euros)

Great hotel. Great location, friendly staff, good restaurants in the hotel (Blue Elephant & Oceana), good bar (Quarterdeck), comfortable room with good facilities and overall a clean area.

Very accommodating staff.the is clean in a good location you get good service every where

Served good but i think they should considerate more for people like me who are gluten intolerant . I asked for gluten free beer, not served, and the pasta gluten free i was served was not of a 5 star hotel superior.
I respect alot places like Hilton but today i was a bit disappointed, especially that i was a guest after the family party we had.

The whole place is clean and wonderful to stay at. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms have a comfy feeling to them and staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Malta

One of the best Hilton properties I have ever stayed in. I was treated like royalty from the time I walked in the door until the time I left. Diana at the front desk was extremely helpful on check in and check out. The room was extremely nice and clean. The executive lounge was also very spacious and offered a great variety of items for breakfast as well as a magnificent view.

Large hotel complex in St Julian. Everything you need, excellent gym facilities and classes you can join in for free. Decent breakfast, though expect a queue anytime after 9am to be seated. They do have an issue with those booking through BA holidays as room wasn't available for 30mins even though they know your flight arrives in the morning. The restaurants aren't great even though the staff are very helpful and great to chat to.

I had a wonderful time in St. Julians, including the stay at Hilton Malta. I will not go overboard with details. All that needs to be said is the 5 restaurants on the property are a nice final touch to the overall indulgent atmosphere. I dined at a different restaurant each night of my stay and felt but pleased.

Hilton Malta is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. At the check-in you will be well received and your luggage will be brought directly to the room. The hotel is beautiful with a nice lobby and different perch and restaurants. The restaurants are very well kept and have lots of tasty dishes. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large and well-kept. Everything was very clean including the bathroom. The breakfast was amazing the selection is huge. The hotel has an extensive fitness and both outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Highly recommended!

Incredible service, so warm and welcoming and Hilton Santa even paid us a visit on Christmas day! What a wonderful hotel for a winter break.

The service was exceptional. The room which was a relation suite was loud due to beach individuals partying all night. Not the Hilton's fault and they did EVERYTHING in their power to make it better. They moved us to a much higher floor, they provided ammenities. I would highly recommend.

Good hotel but the management must spend more money on maintenance and keep the hotel facilities always in perfect condition.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly team- especially reception team whom we found very helpful. Service always with a smile. Breakfast was great. Lots of options. Maltese speciality dishes were nice. An all round good experience. Would definitely revisit!

Great conditions. Very nice service. They are ready to help at any time of the day or night. A slight WiFi problem - it broke the connection and you often had to log in again. Food first class. Views from the last floor! It is a pity that I could not play tennis :( but maybe next time!
