Nice hotel. Cruise ships docking right next to your window is a little annoying if you want quite time. Also they should should have free wifi especially when how much the hotel is per night.

Other than that, it's a great location and has a nice restaurant.

Great service and not bad breakfast, but what a let-down that a premium hotel ($370/night) would situate stayers in the proximity of the fitness room where seriously explosive like banging from the weight lifting apparatus is allowed after 10:30pm and before 6:30am. A terrible night sleep for my wife and I. Stay well away from level-4 Room-426 or any rooms close to it; the same for level-3 below and level-5 above.

Paid 665.43 N.Z dollars for 6th floor DELUXE HARBOUR VIEW PLUS room with balcony. Very, very disappointing. Approach to the hotel gave the impression of visiting a prison. Room small, tables small to fit small room. Bathroom small, shower very average single in size. Views directly over ferries and cruise ship so nothing special but ferries sounding their horns.. T.V. set to one side of the bed making it difficult to view from the bed. Internet speed only 4.91 mbps. so quite slow for a major city centre. Balcony had many cracked tiles with loss of grouting allowing water to retain under the tiles. Limited views Staff polite but I have to say I will never visit again.

Very nice as long as you are in a remodeled room... breakfast is great and the staff is very accommodating... if your room is on the right side you may have your view obstructed by cruise ships but its still amazing

Right in the middle of Auckland, rooms are great, service is top notch. Nothing greater than the sea breeze greeting you in the morning. close to nightspots for your enjoyment. However morning and evening rush-hour traffic can be a headache.

Amazing service. All staff extremely friendly and very helpful first and foremost. Location and standards of Hotel 2nd to none. But the people/staff who work there putting their guests as top priority make this one of the best hotels I have stayed at anywhere in the world

Hilton Auckland is one venue which I have selected for a very special and once in a lifetime occasion. Mr Jacob, the friendly and outgoing captain at FISH restaurant is the reason why I am leaving a public review (something which I tend not to do so despite extensive travels). I would like to thank Jacob for his excellence in Service and Hospitality. I have stayed in various 5* establishments around the world, and have never met someone like Jacob. He has a keen key for details and enhances one's dining experience with sincerity to serve and a sense of humour. Beside the dining experience, I spent 2 nights at the property and overall experience was impressive. Mr Salman Dehlvi, Mr Prasad Gosavi and Mr Oliver Watkinson offered high level of hospitality as well and were always responsive. Hilton Auckland is befitting of being an AMEX The Hotel Collection property for its level of customer service exceeded my expectations. The staff are great assets to the hotel! In Room experience can be improved though.

Recently visited the hotel in relation to the Body World's Vital exhibition. I found it very informative and interesting. The Hilton is right out on the harbour waterfront meaning amazing views of the harbour and the city

High Tea, if that's what you call it. The scones were flat, hard and rock like and if you tried to cut them open they fell apart. The other food was tasteless. Paid $60 per person and then had to pay extra for a coffee. The first place we have been to where we had to go somewhere else afterwards to get something to eat. Very disappointed

Another amazing property right on the pier in Auckland. The place feels like a beach combers dream, white and bright but elegant. I was here for a conference and the service was excellent and the place beautiful. These are some views from the top floor of the conference room.

Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Located right on the beautiful waterfront close to buses and ferries its extremely easy to get to. It has beautiful views of the waterfront that cant ve beat. However, the rooms are quite tightly packed in and it can be tricky to navigate your way around the inside. The facilities cloud do with a do over also.
