Hilton Hotel New Zealand Review

The experience SUCKS!! ZERO hospitality and no courtesy. It's like staying with some hostel. Would never come back again

Hotel nice, but some staff not as efficient as they could be at Check in.

Spent a wonderful week at this location with my wife on our honeymoon. Rick really welcomed us to begin with. And throughout the rest of the stay, the entire team was very friendly and service was excellent. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Visited the Hilton for a work conference and was very much impressed with the conference facilities and locality out on the Quay.

Location felt a bit out of the way. Room was clean and new, and staff was extremely accomodating. Would definitely stay again.

Nice modern rooms in a good location near decent restaurants.

Came by for a conference dinner. Location wise it was a bit away from the CBD but it was a nice walk along the water. It is fairly quiet since it is at the end of a wharf.
The venue was quite big, we had about 250 delegates. Started well with a greeting at the top of the stairs with a drink before the dining area was opened up. The dining area was very large and it had quite nice views of the cloud across the water.
The service was top notch, very friendly staff who were helpful and nice. Best part was the food. You don't expect much from conference dinners but this one was really nice. Large selection of different foods and the quality was decent. It was the same for the dessert although the creme caramel kept running out. They also had options for those with dietary requirements on a separate table.
All and all a very nice conference venue.

Don't miss the breakfast! All kinds of good tasting healthy foods. Very generous folks! I asked if my 11 year old would be a child or adult for there purposes - they told me they normally cut it off at 10 but they could make an exception.

Looked after from the moment we arrived at the door. Wonderful doorman and car valet. Great super helpful receptionist. The place itself is beautiful with decor to give you that little bit of a nautical feel. Warm fires burning on the ground floor foyer and bar area to.make you feel cosy. We had waterfront balcony which allowed us amazing views across the harbour plus a great view of the city lights at night. Room was clean and well stocked with great bedding. We had a wonderful stay. Chose the in room breakfast to enjoy the balcony, for the cost was very basic and not value for money.

Fantastic place for large functions. Clean facilities, helpful friendly staff and beautiful vistas to refresh those arduous seminars.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, upgrade to a top floor room with harbor views, it's worth it, spacious balconies with lounges and sitting areas. The rooms themselves are bright and modern. Exceptional service from everyone going out of their way to come over and say hi and help. The bar area is incredible as well. The only issue is your may want to ask about the cruise schedule, when the monstrous ships pull in, they completely obstruct the view of the harbor.

Look up underneath the bathroom sinks thats all ill say.

Seemed spacious, professional. A little bit hard to find, bit on a nice setting.

Beautiful view of the ship and close to the city center

Room big but expensive. Was told breakfast included at check in. But when we went to have breakfast the next day, was told it cost $10/pax. I argued the front desk clearly said that breakfast was included so the staff check and said OK it is. When we get our food and sat down, the staff came back to say 2nd plate cost $10. Why can't they tell us earlier? Never heard there is such a policy in all my 5 years travel with Hilton. What's more if you want eggs prepared your way, additional $10. Too money oriented when room cost $400 for one night.

I love Auckland s Hilton, especially the Restaurant there with a terrific view.

Awesome facility. Great for work conference, super relaxing bar area, great conference rooms, nice rooms. Only issue is crazy loud building works

Lobby and bar area is beautiful with friendly staff. There was a pillar in the center of my friends room which was weird. Overall a good experience.

It's an elegent hotel on the waterfront. It has amazing views from the room as well as most public areas.

It's very disappointing that the Hilton partners with Wilson Parking. They will issue you a $65 fine just for dropping off anywhere around the Hilton Area. Be warned

Good Hotel location and I got room with ferry port terminal....

Everything is the best but the parking fee is not enough ~

This is a lovely location by the harbor. The rooms are modern and comfortable. It is an easy location to move around from to see Auckland.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Auckland. Every staff we encountered was efficient and friendly. The location is fabulous, plus the views over the water are a delight. Our room was fabulously spacious with a great balcony, plus the buffet breakfast and room service hit the spot!

Top quality food at the chef's table. Excellent wine matching and an engaging host. Add magnificent company and badda bing badda boom

Hotel at the harbor. Room comfortable clean and spacious overlooking the water. Staff courteous. Good location for finding restaurants or enjoying a water breeze.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at worldwide. Gorgeous view from our patio. Spacious room and bathroom actually (you can even listen to the TV inside the bathroom - button to push). The valet service was top notch. No complaints at all. We would recommend this Hilton to everyone. Location wise it s perfect for walking around the city and wharf area.

Very confusing parking, no option for 2.5 hours stay so had to.pay $24 for all day parking. We only came to presentation at the Hilton hotel. Not good.

Great service, the rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. This is the place to stay when in Auckland.

Good room albeit facing the apartments opposite but could still see the sea from the room's balcony. Comfortable bed, well appointed room. Breakfast and room service both good standard. Great to be on the waterfront for an evening stroll. My new preferred Auckland Hotel.

Loved this place with the busy harbor right close outside.

Great place to stay if you are catching or get off a cruise.

It was easy to find and had a nice proximity to the ocean.

ONLY 1 STAR

As Diamond Member I can already come out as a Hilton fan, but I'm certainly not a fan of this.

The location is of course terrific - only the booking did not point out that on the one hand just opposite is a club with outdoor area, and the basses make the bed vibrate - on the other hand, the whole day long crane work takes place.

This is absolutely outrageous to conceal this at the time of booking, but in the room then to point out.

To the noise (the "soundproof windows" help as little) came then also, that the room was not really clean. "Signatures" from the previous guest in the toilet are certainly everything, but not premium. This hair in bed and dirty mirror. Crumbs on the table.

I am completely disappointed.

In addition, negative for status customers: There is no lounge (you get a drink voucher for 1 drink at the bar) and there are probably no upgrades or other perks.

For me personally, the worst HILTON I've ever been in ...

Great 5 star hotel with excellent harbor view. Very near to the harbor to reach another islands

The bar manager Arthur is very knowledgeable about his Whiskeys. The service is really slow but that was par for the course in NZ.
