Centralized location from all the places we needed to go to. Easy access to freeways, yet it was quiet. Room was clean and plenty of towels. Room service was quick when we needed something. Overall it was a good place for the price.

Staying with my wife after wedding night. They were somewhat useless when it came to providing my guests the reduced rate. Better communication would help immensely so they can provide the correct customer service they offer customers.

I was there for a "workshop", that gave information about financial aid and assistance for attending college. The conference room was a decent sized for a small group of approx 20. Very clean and nice. The lobby was very beautiful and the staff seemed nice with the minimal time we spoke and they assisted me with directions to where I needed to go. I dont know what the rooms look like, nor the price though.

Clean and quiet but that's probably not what I'll remember They charge you to park your car on premises! I would rather they just charge more for the room and include the parking. What's next, an extra charge to use the bathroom! Not impressed!

We have stayed here about 12-15 times in the last 17 years and this place continues to amaze us with its quality and service. Close to all the great places in Monterey but also easily accessible to the freeway.. HHonors has not blacked it out yet for the weekend of the Big Sur Half Marathon even though the starting line is 400 meters away. Peninsula College is right around the corner if you want to jog up the street and do a track workout on their all-weather track.

Hilton is in a great location if you're planning to visit the Monterey Aquarium. If you're coming from San Francisco it's nice to stay overnight so you don't have to drive back up when it's dark. You can take some of the scenic drives around the area. The hotel was very clean and a great deal outside of the small charge for parking.

We chose this property because it was dog friendly and in a convenient location. The staff was all incredibly friendly and helpful, but the hotel is in major need of a facelift. The first room they put is in smelled like mold and mildew. The smell was so strong it knocks you off your feet when you walk in! We informed the front desk and they moved us to another room, despite the hotel being sold out. The second room had water on the floor of the shower and also had a fair amount of black mold growing in between the tiles. Gross! We ve stayed in much nicer Hilton Garden Inns.

I frequently stay at Hilton Garden Inns across the USA and the property is beyond dated. The rooms remind me of the older Hampton Inns you find off interstate exits in small town America. In the standard rooms they are small and dark by Hilton Garden Inn brand standards. The plumbing in the bathrooms are in serious need of a refresh. Sadly, the tub drain couldn't keep up with the shower head flow so half way through the shower I was standing in dirty water.

Hotel Staff were pleasant and courteous. The Pacific Grill breakfast spread was adequate. (Although I wish they'd make extra paper napkins available to guests while dining. I had to ask waitress each morning for additional napkins, diverting her from her normal duties.)

Gym has plenty of equipment for a generous workout and the outdoor pool and whirlpool are great!

The hotel is located right to the exit of highway one. It s only 10 minutes to fisherman s wharf by car. The rooms have a stsndart size, which is oksy. The Swimmingpool is pretty nice and there s a gym as well as spa. Infortunately psrking is 15 dollars per night and since there s no parking lot nearby, you ll hsve to tske it.

Gracious and friendly welcome, smooth fast and easy check-in, clean and comfortable rooms and great views of the interior areas below: swimming pool, hot tub and fire pit. Staff was always friendly and helpful, on-site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. GREAT location for heading to Fisherman's Wharf or Cannery Row, the aquarium or straight to the beach. Also just a few blocks from the Navy installation if that's where you're headed.

Having been to other Hilton Garden's. Was disappointed. Arrogant staff in the lobby, parking was the only decent thing @ $15 a night. Drinks were poured very light and pricey. I had higher hope for our meal...nope. When you pay less than $200 a night here, you get what you pay for.

Would give more stars, but check in is at 4:00pm- which is strange- staff said room would be ready in 30 minutes, then when checked after the first 30, said it would be ready in another 30 minutes, when pressed they let us into a room. They were strangely rude when checking in. As a Hilton gold member 4 stays from diamond, I had to keep coming to them to get service. They didn't have it together.

Very secure location, lots of parking, spacious rooms with cute private little patios. I stayed here the night after my wedding and was able to rest before starting up with post wedding shenanigans.

Very nice hotel. Conveniently located in downtown. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bar was very active and entertaining. Breakfast was freshly prepared and moderately priced. One thing to be aware of is the parking garage owned by the hotels comes at a fee.

I booked my rooms several months in advance for a birthday occasion, even though a previous person had cause damage one of the rooms, the staff notified me right away and we were able to adjust our stay with another room. Im spending my 3 nights here, with a nice pool, staff, and a very nice overall hotel I'm very pleased that I stayed here.

I did notice the past reviews here that were negative obvious these reviews were folks that were to cheap and went to a 3rd party source or is an ignorant snooty pig that should get there head examined.

Last but not least I like to thank Tereza team especially Jamie to make my occasion exceptional and I'll be returning again when I'm here and enjoy my time again in the area.

I do hope that there Corp. Office realized what a fine crew they have and the restaurant here is wonderful experience as well....

Arrived to no line at the front desk. And, things went up from there. The room was immaculate and waiting. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The cookies and Smores were a wonderful gift. The hotel restaurant was every bit the equal of the hotel. Portions and quality were excellent on top of excellent service.

This is a solid, well-rounded hotel option in a town that can be difficult to find affordable options in. While it's not the most modern option out there, the property is kept clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in a bit early and brought us a crib right away so our 2 year old could take a much needed nap. All the rooms have balconies which was an unexpected bonus. Keep in mind that parking cost $15 a night, so make sure to factor that in to the cost of the room. Location is convenient to the highway, but is too far from the downtown area or water to walk to.

Front desk was very hospitable and friendly. Pool and hot tub were open. The fire pit was great to sit by at night and chat. Close to the beach and Cannery Row. Bed was a too firm for my liking but the queen size is great. I wish I would had brought my own pillows cause they were not firm. All in all I would stay here again

The desk and room staff were great. It appeared though, things had changed for diamond members. The hotel was alright but room seemed small, amenities had changed also. Breakfast for only two, not family and charged 15 dollars a night for parking. That's after the huge amount of points to get the small room. Well now I know.

Have stayed here on 3 separate occasions on business with mixed experiences. The first 2 times were great with nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds, s'mores by the pool, and great housekeeping. Love the location for it being close to the freeway, right up the road from the beach, and close to downtown access. Beds were comfortable, clean, and rooms were excellent!

This last visit however was less than pleasant... we had a street-facing room near a stairwell that was HORRIBLE to wake up to other people banging their bags into the doorframe making our room shake and listening to the echos of people screaming up the stairs and breezeway. The room was clean, and linens were fine, but the chair in the corner looked like a HAZMAT concern with the dirty stains and sweat marks on the seat. My favorite part was being abruptly woken up at 7:30am to housekeeping loudly knocking and nearly coming in the room despite the "do not disturb" sign being hung up. Front desk staff were excellent and stated these items would be addressed and were courteous in every aspect throught our stay.

This is my favorite hotel I've stayed at in Monterey! I'm a flight attendant and stay here a lot. I've also stayed here with my family on vacation. Is a great place Weather a work trip or for fun. The location is wonderful, you can walk down town and to the beach from it or it's just a quick uber ride. Lots of great places to visit and eat at close by. The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are very nice and always really clean, they have private balconies to enjoy the sun shine and relax. It has a great bar, restaurant, pool and gym. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent, very good food. This hotel has an amazing staff, always very professional, helpful and friendly! I would give more than 5 stars if I could, it's a wonderful place to stay!
