AETHRION is a very pleasant and bright place at the Hilton Athens with very tasty and fresh snacks. Usually you can also see an exhibition of artwork or documents from the past of the history, about Athens hotel.
Great stay at the Hilton. Very good location and excellent facilities all round .
Service not reflective of price.
Of the 6 hotels I stayed at in Greece 2018, the Hilton experience was the worst by far. Service was 2star at best with a 5star price.
I am still in disbelief how they could charge 7Euro for a glass of milk, which was for my three year old daughter. Every other hotel refused to take money,
My experience also included 40Euro a day Valet, but you had to park your own car.
Waiting 23minutes at a pool bar table and the only reason someone came up to us was because we requested to speak to a manager.
Having to carry our on luggage down because help nor trolleys were not available.
To add insult to injury this was how we spent our last days in Greece on what was otherwise a perfect holiday.
Galaxy bar has best panoramic view of Athens. Third place after Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill.
Very open and relaxed feel, metro is 3 minutes away, views to the Acropolis from our room. Ask for the view...

The appearance is relatively old, the interior decoration, the old hotel, the location is very good.
For a purported classy hotel the coffee is simply shocking. Some no name brand, and a double espresso costs 8 euros !!
Exec lounge is weak with food. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Wi-fi coverage is weak at some points of outdoor areas, no wi-fi at exec toilet. Wonderful view at exec lounge and roof
Really nice stay. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Within 10 min walk to the Panathenaic Stadium, and 25 min to the Acropolis. And got a great view of the Acropolis from my room.
One of.the.best outdoor. Pools in Athens. Well maintained and very clean. New owners have spruced up.the pool area with new comfy.sun beds and smart umbrellas. They.have also given it a feel of an Oasis with large pot plants and lights. Service by the pool a little slow but the Lifeguards are very helpful and keep order.at busy times.
Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. I accidentally booked no breakfast rate and the staff were so lovely on checkout that offered complimentary coffee and pastries before sending me on my way. That's a sign of excellent customer service

A five star hotel as it should be. Comfortable, luxurious, all facilities and amenities you can wish for, staff that goes out of its way to ensure you have a good stay and several options for eating and drinking in style. Get a room with view of the Acropolis (and the pool if you look down) and don't forget to have dinner and/or drinks in the rooftop bar and restaurant Galaxy. The view is really one of the best.

My reputation was a fantastic part. The pool full of children, however, did not go to the bar but the waitresses and overseeers were over !!!

Very good location in the centre, with the best view over the acropolis! The hotel staff are super professionnal and efficient. Also rooms are renovated and very very clean. Restaurants of the hotel are very luminous with a great rooftop for late night drinks and that amazing view on the heart of civilization!
Oasis pool bar and swimming pool are just great. Been shocked due to changing bath towel color from dark blue to dark Grey, even for the sun umbrellas. Hilton hotels chain is international but Athens Hilton has been always "dressed" with white-blue colors, as to its "Greek identity".
Extreme shocking to see one day red towels and umbrellas in the pool (according to Turkish co-owner) or even its Hilton flag changed into red.

Centrally located hotel with its own parking garage. Executive Lounge (access control!) On the 11th floor with outdoor area and views of the Acropolis. Especially interesting in the evening, when the Acropolis is illuminated.

The bad: We were in the excutive suite. We heard the ongoing music of the Galaxy Bar late at night in our room as we are trying to sleep. Taxis in Athens Greece our notorious for ripping off tourists, especially Americans, and to have the hotel use their taxi service costs extra 5 Euros. Other good hotels charge half this. You epect to eat at the resturants in this Hilton expect to pay 7 Euos for a soft drink. Hotel makes you sign a wavier that you will pay 12 Euors when you borrow an umbrella and not return it. No other hotel has this policy and just let us borrow one. It takes a long time to get service at the front desk. Our card did not work at first in the elevator to access the executive suite. Seems this place is a rip-off and farther away from the attractions. You probably want a hotel closer to the attractions to avoid using taxi drivers that scam tourists or end up paying 5 Euros extra to use the hotel's taxi service.
The was the worest Hilton we stayed at due to service, even compared to other Hiltons. We just tried to order a pizza and this is the only hotel that asked me to wait downstairs for delivery. Only after complaining, did they agree to have the doorman call me when they arive. I asked about who deliveres and they gave men the number to Pizza Hut because they don't know anywhere else! They could not even research other places that deliver to help us out. All the other hotels did this why not the Hilton which is the most expensive one? The answer is that they don't care.
King George Hotel is cheaper, friendly staff that cares about their guests, and cheaper. Yes, compared to other hotels it seems that serivce and willingness to help the guest is bad. We are Diamond Status and on our Honeymoon. Please don't waist your points on this Hilton.
The good: They upgraded us to the executive suite and allowed to go to the Galaxy Bar when we forgot to make a reservation. Honestly we were going to walk away at first because they wanted my pregnant wife to sit on a stool at the bar. I was not having that at all! They did find a cancellation and allowed us to sit at a table after our protest. Some roomw and the Galaxy Bar have a nice view of the Acropolis.
Very elegant. Some staff not helpful when my grandson was ill. Other staff, particularly door man, concierge and Byzantium staff were fantastic. Food presentations were beautiful

Visited the Milos restaurant which was good but overpriced for what was offered. You can get similar quality fish at normal tavernas next to the sea
The Athens Hilton is a beautiful hotel but most of the service and most of the staff have a lot to learn about Hilton Hospitality. No basic standard Hilton Honors welcome, no concierge that I can speak of and front desk attitude all wrong as the ambassadors of the hotel. Panos in the restaurant is the best employee I encountered and the maids who make up the rooms are welcoming, greet and smile at guests. I was not at all impressed with my stay at Athens Hilton. No mention of my birthday by any staff or even an email from Hilton to this moment. Cultural and Customer sensitivity and hospitality refresher courses required if we HH members are expected back

The spa has little concern for large size clients and preferred to ask mre to leave after a decade of membership rather than supply new large size bathrobes. Execrable. Will not go into how many times I found excrement in the showers and never received an apology on reporting it.

Great hotel, very convinient to transportation to all if the sights. There isn't much going on as far as restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
