Hilton Athens Review

Was at the Hilton for a drink on the terrace. Good music, great views, drinks are fine. Service average.

Great hotel and if you have access to the executive lounge it makes the stay very worthwhile. Only 3 stars because attitude from staff member at reception was not the best especially for diamond member and this hotel is very noisy at night. Not even the Special windows can block out the traffic noises and we were on the top floor.
Spa, gym, indoor and outdoor pool are top quality as is room service.

Overpriced and inexperienced service people!!! The view of the Acropolis was amazing from the rooftop bar made up for it.

Just check out the view from the roof garden. In awe

Hilton ..... I think that only the name can explain about everything. The old and special hotel in Athens. And in one of the best positions in the Center of the city . Another good thing about Hilton is that they use the top of the top ecological and non toxic cleaning Greek products ..... Factor . Factor cleaning products are friendly for the environment the humans and the animals . For the services there are no votes to add cause 5 stars are nothing .... 10 stars for the employees and all the staff. Congratulations about the hospitality.

Great modern hotel with Greek hospitality. Enjoyed it. Had a nice view of the Acropolis from the tenth floor balcony.

Great view on top floor, extremely high prices (expected). Only come is that they don't serve tea and coffee after 22h because it's a bar on the top floor.

Excellent service, clean modern room with a rainfall shower, great outdoor pool. Not the greatest location if you want to walk but less than a 5 euro taxi to pretty much anywhere you would want to see in Athens. Very glad I chose this hotel.

Good hotel. Rooms are clean. Wifi is not free to all. They block 100 euro from credit card during check in. It takes time to unblock amount after checkout.

Actually I would like if I could put 2.5 stars! Wi-Fi for a fee may have been rational until 2000 and I say a lot! From then on, when all over the world and even in other hotels are free, it is neither nice nor modern to have this paid service! The room was lower than my expectations! Little dark old but well-groomed! In-room facilities are the same as 3 and 4-star accommodation! It does not justify his reputation! The only thing that saves is the professionalism of the staff and the facilities outside the room as well as the wonderful restaurant with the fantastic breakfast!

Everything was great, we would definitely go back. We recommend!

Anyone booking a room for a view of the acropolis beware of two large construction cranes right across the street which block the view.the hotel does not inform you of this even when you specifically asked for a room with this view which you pay more for

Great hotel, but seriously marred by 1) having to pay outrageously high daily rates just to use WIFI in the room and 2) a dodgy minibar set-up that automatically charges you for drinks if you accidentally touch them (eg to put your own water bottle in will activate several drinks purchases and you don't find out until you check out)!

There are no words to describe such a vibrant History of Athens! !!!

Attended a conference at the hotel. Extra large. It's a little difficult to navigate, but to ask no one - all the staff is loaded.
Lovely terrace and, of course, comfortable rooms

We sat for a drink and a meal in the Galaxy bar. A fantastic view, great service, could have more options for light meals.
I think the bar menu needs little renewal.

A classic hotel in the heart of the city. High prices and an equivalent service. The restaurant-bar at the top of the building has perhaps the most beautiful view of Athens.

The aesthetics of the hotel are very nice. It's very striking, and it appears to be a really nice hotel. And it is. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While it has the appearance of a really nice hotel, it operates somewhat as a budget hotel. Everything has a charge. Upon arrival, I was allowed to check in early, which I appreciated. No charge. However, once I made it to my room and contacted the desk for my wifi password, I was advised that I had to pay 20/day for wifi. I was told that I could access complimentary wifi in the lobby. While inconvenient, I didn't find this too out of the ordinary, just slightly expensive. It was until the following day when I tried to access the gym that I was told 15 per day to access the gym. That, I had never heard of, and thought out of the ordinary. (I believe these fees are waived for platinum honors)

For a hotel that already charges a premium, I think it unwise and tasteless to charge these extra fees. I'd rather really stay at a budget hotel or splurge and stay at one with more taste.

Whatever you say about Hilton is a bit. Serving you want, cleanliness you want, security you want, all. There is no way to visit it and not be satisfied.

The Galaxy restaurant and the bar with the outstanding Athens view in the Hilton hotel was fantastic place to visit, definitely I would like to be back again :)

I must say this place is more than I expected. Starting from staff, utilities (good gym, sauna, pool) and restaurant on the roof with view than can only inspire. Definitely coming back during next biz trip.

I stayed at the hotel during a business trip.

My room was in the 4th, a simple double room. The room is large, with sofa and desk. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. The bathroom is spacious, with a bathtub and extra shower. I would prefer a little better sound insulation as mechanical noise was heard.

Checkin's reception was quick and polite. The night I returned did not work my card and I had to go up - down 3 times before I send someone to make it.

The luggage storage service is very convenient. The location is good with a metro stop in 5 minutes walking.

Breakfast very good with great variety. Impressive food station that made you the kind of egg you wanted right away.

Worth a visit to the galaxy bar for the wonderful view of Acropolis and Lycabettus!

Among the top hotels in Athens. Don't miss the view from the bar on the top floor, especially at night!

It was and remains one of the points of reference in secular Athens!

Amazing service. Best hotel in Athens for me as I am more accustomed to American style amenities.
