Very nice hotel. Galaxy bar too expensive even with this view. Some issues with the shower: large variations of temperature when neighbor is using it.

A building with a history of times that dominates one of the most central streets of Athens !!!!! Especially the view from the hotel's roof garden is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel is in a good location, with helpful and friendly staff and clean rooms, offering a fresh breakfast, but for me what takes 3 stars away from this experience is the possibility that if you need to cool anything, you must pay a charge of 10 to have a fridge as the the room minibar is fully stocked with an automatic system which prevents you from taking something out and replacing it with anything else. I feel for a hotel of this price range and star rating, it is another "sneaky" way to squeeze out more money from a guest, while in other hotels I've visited until now, I've never encountered this before. I understand for hygenic reasons they don't offer the restaurant fridges which is very acceptable, but to charge an extra 10 feels sneaky. Nevertheless, the staff are polite and helpful especially at breakfast time in the restaurant and at the front desk.

Large, modern and clean hotel. We were a family of five in two rooms and an extra roll-away bed was provided which was comfortable. Baths were clean, as were the rooms, and the WiFi worked well. Best part of the hotel for us was the large resort-like pool area. Beautiful and breezy area with many lounges and great food and service. Our kids thought it was the best pool hotel they've experienced out of perhaps a dozen or more in various places in the U.S. and Europe. Also, we left an expensive hair appliance in the room by accident when we left Athens for a week in the islands. A couple of emails the next day and we had arranged for the retrieved item to be held for us in lost and found and we picked it up a week later when we returned to Athens. Impressive communication and cooperative resolution by the Staff on that issue. They were very helpful and we were very appreciative.

For a 5-night stay with my wife, it was a great hotel with a nice comfy room. But it lacked few details. They didn t have bath foam/salt for the bath tub (the hotel just didn t have it), no bath robes, they only provided 1 pair of slippers (although we booked the hotel for 2 persons), no free space in the fridge (always full of their minibar bottles), and inconsistent room setup from every morning room service. They only provided regular English/Greek breakfast with no other variety. However, the rooftop Galaxy Bar was great and really nice, especially all their cocktails. Somehow, with their huge place, they didn t have a lounge for after dinner coffee, except for the rooftop bar which stopped serving coffee at 10 pm (but this was just a minor detail). Overall, the customer service and all their waiters/hospitality personnel were very friendly, helpful and polite. Even the spa was excellent according to my wife. Nevertheless, with some missing details, this hotel didn t qualify to get 5-star rating in my opinion.

A true five-star hotel with a huge pool in the middle of the city! Great view of the Acropolis, which can be reached on foot in twenty minutes and by taxi a bit faster. The prices for the underground car park are outrageous, but everything else fits. Recommended is a visit to the bar on the top floor, especially when it's dark - the view is breathtaking!

Great hotel of the chain. That location is perfect for the travellers who want to be close to the attractions, but away from the din of people.

Very good food and impeccable service at the Byzantine restaurant

Room was clean, although the floor seemed a bit dusty. We were disappointed to not have bathrobes in the room by default (and this is an expensive Hilton), and didn't bother asking for them. An iron and ironing board are in the closet. Dry cleaning facilities are provided, but at 14 for a pair of trousers, it's a bit much. A safe is provided. The mattress is incredibly comfortable (COCO-MAT, we checked).

There is NOTHING complimentary in the room, not even water. A small bottle of evian is left on the table and labeled at 6.50, and the mini fridge has special sensors, preventing you from refrigerating your own water. Wifi is available for 18/ day. Utterly ridiculous, especially as this hotel has many an agreement with companies (including where I work) for business travellers.

We spent our first night in Athens at the Hilton, and on our return from Santorini purposefully chose to stay anywhere but there.

Service was great, but everything else was so ridiculously priced (a cocktail for 20? wifi for 18? A Club Sandwich for 30?) that we were constantly compelled to step outside for the smallest thing, ultimately making the hotel unwelcoming. All these prices are visible on their website, so we did know about them... chose to try nonetheless, and I am not sure we'll be going back.

Great for one overnight stay, if you don't need internet, want an excellent breakfast and a quick dip in the lovely pool before moving on.

Although expensive the suite draws the finest visas as a magnet.

I travel a lot and stay at Hilton properties. This is one of the best hotels anywhere.

The amenities are fantastic! The gym is top notch (best I've found for an on-site hotel gym). The pool is also great with excellent service and not overly crowded or anything.

Rooms and views are spectacular as well...but that's probably a little hit or miss depending on which side of the hotel and floor you get. Highly recommended!!!

Stayed at this Hilton during our visit to Athens in 2018. it was Christmas time, and not much tourists, we enjoyed our stay. The staffs are friendly, location is great, close to everywhere, and can walk to take the metro. Breakfast is super good, gave us the energy to start the day right! The evening club has some good snacks and drinks, great for the whole family. We can see the The Acropolis from our room and took some awesome photos!

I am so pleased with my stay. It was a business trip so everything I needed arriving late at the hotel was perfect for me to get a good night sleep. Great service, super comfy bed, spacious rooms and a great Greek breakfast.

Its location is a bit out of the way of the city center where everything goes. Located on a main axis, its name makes it famous

Very well maintained hotel with nice rooms. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Rooftop bar has the best view over the city of Athens, and looking directly at Acropolis. A great place to get a drink and watch the sunset. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Great hotel in very easy and accessible location. Staff were very accommodating with early and late checkout. Great business lounge. Gym was smallish but very functional and clean. Only downside of experience was a crane next door which could not have been more poorly place as the only thing it obscured was the acropolis.

Exactly what you'd expect from a Hilton hotel, international luxury, excellent service, pool and roofgarden bar are beautiful and unique spots. Pricey.

What can someone say about this hotel! Worship in the city center. Stunning views of Acropolis and Lycabettus. If someone excludes the prices that are justified, otherwise it is a great venue and hotel. But if the administration did a little better work with the employees, it would be better. They make a sense of gossip, and that's not good. In all hotels it happens here though, it seems.

Just checked in - Hilton Honor Gold member - but as it was booked by a congress agency they cut all goodies a gold member has not nice not friendly there are other hotels in Athens as well that

All great but it is UNABLE to not have the Galaxy open from noon for coffee etc !!! There is a need for more staff on the ground floor cafe. Brown and not, excellent.

Beautiful hotel in the city centre of Athens. Has the best location for business, leisure, city break or a resort feeling. With the amazing outdoor swimming pool and bar, and the spa, you really feel like you are in a resort in the middle of the city. The Galaxy Bar and Restaurant on the roof of the hotel is a must offering the most amazing views over the beautiful city.

When visiting Athens this is the perfect hotel. Location is great and the staff are very polite especially those in the executive lounge. Say hello to Dimitri while you're there. He is a great guy and pointed us in the direction of where to go and what to see.

Bravo! The Hilton Athens is without doubt one of the finest hotels in the Hilton family. The property is meticulously maintained and architecturally beautiful. Milos Athens is a dining experience not to miss. The Galaxy restaurant has spectacular views and a great menu. I was impressed by the high level of service each and every member of the staff provided.

All was fine until my golden necklace was stolen from the room. My fault - had to use safe... But anyway, in Hilton? Investigation by Security department was conducted, but nothing was found. I clearly remember where it was, so no doubt it had been taken from there. Awful ...
