Excellent hotel in Athens!

Excellent hotel in Athens!
Location is great:
- 15 min walking to Syntagma Square, on a blvd. with embassies and museums;
- 20 min walking to Acropolis, on a blvd that has old Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch on it
- right next to Kolonaki neighborhood;
- 30 min walking to the top of Lycabettus Hill, with splendid views over the city all day long, but especially at sunset;
- 10 min walking to the National Garden;
- 3 min walking to Metro station (1 stop to Syntagma Square);
- Bus-stop for Airport bus and other buses next to the hotel;
- "Hop-on Hop-off" tourist bus, Athens (red) line stops right in front of hotel.
Practically, between the hotel and Syntagma Square there is a 20 min walking area that is filled with museums, a beautiful park and the Parliament Building. As a tourist - you are close to everything, and without the tourist crowd around you.
View towards the Acropolis is fantastic! For tourists - REALLY worth upgrading to an Acropolis-view room, for unforgettable views of the Parthenon, either by day or by night!

The hotel is big and very comfortable; service has been excellent for our entire stay there. Outside pool is BIG and has a nice relaxing area around it.
Truly recommend Hilton Athens for a beautiful vacation in Athens!

Wonderful hotel in the center of Athens. It has everything close by - supermarkets, restaurants, cafes. It has a nice rooftop bar with an amazing view and other two restaurants. Very family friendly. It also offers a babysitting service which costs 15 euros per hour. The staff were really attentive and anticipate to our needs promptly. When asked for a cup of warm milk for our daughter, they even gave it to us as a complimentary drink which was highly appreciated. We would definitely go back there if we ever have another chance.

Great concierge and front desk service. Parking expensive at 35/day and 6/ 3 hrs along road next to hotel which requires advance kiosk purchase. Our car was broken into while parked next to hotel and broken side window.

This was my first visit to Athens in Hilton with a group of 14 and we had an amazing time..

The staffs were so accommodating to us as a family with very young kids, it almost felt like home, even my little one didn't want to return back home...

I hoped I had thanked them personally but towards the end it was a race with time to return back home...

I would definitely recommend Hilton Athens and Greece as a holiday with 10 if I could...

Thank you very much guys for giving us such a memorable experience...

Hotel is beautiful(inside). Staff is incredibly helpful and courteous( most of them). I came with my children and was bummed to find out the outside pool was closed. However; we were very happy to find out they have an inside pool. After paying (yes paying) 15 euros per day per person to use the pool, an attendant then made us wear shower caps while swimming. Totally bizarre. Try making two 8 year olds wear a loose fitting Granny s shower cap in the pool. When they fell off a couple times the person working there demanded that they get out if the shower caps came off again. This totally ruined the 5 stars they would have gotten from me. Way to almost make little girls cry. Kudos

having reserved two rooms for 2 and 3 people when we arrived only one bed for 3!
After a complaint, the addition of a bed, a person taking a good part of the room which was not planned for 3
During our stay 3 times it was not possible for us to return to our room because the badge did not work each time 15m lost at the reception
The elevators never available, you sometimes have to wait more than 5 minutes to be able to go up worse when a group of tourists arrive !!!!
The reception staff are not very efficient and forget to register the credit card when we arrive or have to go back tomorrow and queue again!
The nicest breakfast buffet which is great the swimming pool excellent beds the proximity to the acropolis etc. and to the center very appreciable
Despite everything a little disappointed for a 5 star hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our trip to Athens and had the absolute best experience. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and everything about the hotel is done to perfection. The staff was great and if we needed anything they were more than accommodating which made our stay super comfortable. We loved the rooftop bar which has the best view of the Acropolis you can get! Highly recommended for the best hotel in Athens !

The Galaxy Restaurant and Bar from the 13th floor is spectacular. Very good cocktails and the view over Athens it cuts your breathe away. The price are higher than other places, but the view is worth it.
The music is also very good.
I definitely recommend this place!

Great views at the Galaxy bar and restaurant with very helpful staff. However be prepared to pay through the nose here.

The food on offer was amazing and portion sizes were reasonable. The staff were accommodating for our children and offered to prepare things for them that were not on the menu.

One of the few places in the heart of Athens that offers some sense of tranquility and a place for people to relax and watch the sunset over the capital.

We did not stay at the Hilton, but I did want to acknowledge the amazing service we received! We were in need of a printer to print our flight tickets and the exceptional front desk associate was more than welcoming, saving us 55 each. Thank you so much for having such a polite and delightful front staff!

It's conveniently to everything, metro, buses station and it is a walking distance to the center of Athens and the historical sites that are surrounded the hotel. The staffs are nice but the breakfast was little bit above an average. Other than that it is an awesome hotel.

On the terrace is one of the best restaurants in Athens. Also the view is wonderful and after a fantastic meal we sat for a drink in the bar on the same floor. We passed there. Good to staff, service and especially to the chef.

Beautiful hotel. Close to the metro. Spectacular view of the Acropolis. Great gym and pool. Excellent and helpful staff which will serve as a pseudo conceierge, given there's no official concierge (eg. they suggested restaurants, made restaurant reservations, gave us sight seeing tips, etc). Note they did offer to book is a minivan car service for $140 and we thought that was overpriced and we're correct as we found a nice private minivan/truck at airport for 100 euro with everything included (tolls, extra charges, etc.)

This is a classic Hilton, slightly run down, trying to reinvent itself, hang out for Athenians as well as tourists.

DOWNERS - 1. They don't pick up the phone when you select "English" on the options. 2. They charge 35 euro for the parking even if you are a paying guest!

One of the most historic hotels in Athens.
The Galaxy Bar at Roof garden is one of the most beautiful places for a night out overlooking the whole of Athens.
The Galaxy conference room next to the Bar is very convenient for various events.
The staff is fit and always willing to serve!

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The gym is small, but well-equipped and the customers there are also quite friendly. The lobby is stunning, the pool is huge, the breakfast is amazing (though the price is quite steep), the decor in the room is quite good. If you have the option to upgrade to the executive rooms, I would seriously consider it, as you get breakfast, access to the executive lounge, and dinner all included for an additional 90 euros per night, which isn't bad if you put 3 people in one room.

The hotel is located close to the bus and metro stop and is about a 30 minute walk from plaka/ parthenon, so it's quite convenient.
