Old place, the rooms need a renovation.
Best part was the flow restaurant.
Hotel need urgent refurbishment and modernisation, carpets in corridors are still the same as when they opened (20 years ago). Food (breakfast) is good but expensive
Same remarks apply to the rooms (need upgrading)
We have only been here to eat. We have eaten a three course menu but none of the courses was tasty. And certainly not enough. The fact that I did give asterisks is only to the credit of the staff because they did their best. It could of course be that we were just unlucky and that it is otherwise nice here, but we were sitting at the table with 6 people and nobody was really satisfied with it.
Beautiful location, beautiful historic building located in the central square of the city
Perfect location, spacious room, simple
No one during our stay spoke to us in Spanish
Ideal breakfast, eggs and wellfes at the moment, very tasty !!!
For my taste, the hotel needs a fresher air. I have felt a bit transported to the 70-80s
If you are not a VIP you cannot go up to the terrace, for my taste this is not right
Nice hotel. We were here for an information session.
Rooms were in great condition. Had a great overnight stay. Only downside was the sound of either a lift or mechanical machine working at 5am which disturbed our sleep. But overall great accommodation
We had to wait a very long time before they came to take our order. There is not enough staff available for the bustle in the building. Otherwise we had a pleasant evening.
Very nice rooms, great service, perfect location, and a great view of the cathedral. Enjoyed and was surprised by the little gifts they left in the rooms.
Must be renovated urgently ...
Price is currently based on the name 'HILTON' and not at all for the comfort of the rooms. There is work to be done, I'm afraid.
Standard business hotel in the city that allows easy access to places. Decor is old but clean. Good friendly staff, but can do with a fresh coat of paint and some lights.
Excellent! Less the guarantee request for accommodation !!
My wife and I stayed 3 nights for a long weekend in August 2012. The hotel is conveniently located in town, on top of metro stop with direct line to sportpaleis/lotto arena in case you are in town for a concert/show. The rooms are huge, way beyond normal European standards! The breakfast was the only thing not as good as in other Hilton hotels, but still very, very good.
a good starting point for exploring the old town of Antwerp.
Rooms OK, personnell friendly
Very good hotel and well located, close to great public transport and also surrounded by bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is very good too. The breakfast is varied with lots of options, it even has a melted chocolate fountain :). The parking is paid separately and is underground. It gives you access to a Carrefour with great prices too. It is located 1 block from the Katedral. The facade of the hotel is very beautiful and is already a historical landmark.
Perfect quality cheeses, nuts and wines, located near the Markt, so easily accessible
It was great that the three of us were able to check in around 0200! Super welcoming and fun staff!
Photo was taken from the balcony!
It is one of the oldest hotels in the city, so it is to be expected that it will be a bit outdated. But everything is very clean and the service is rated 10. Breakfast very well served.
Faded glory, especially considering the prices: the rooms are large, well maintained and in good order, but there is an atmosphere of the expensive American hotels: mini bar with sensors that charge automatically, outdated lifts finished in gold-look, carpet that does not more of this time, English speaking staff ... Don't get me wrong: Hilton Antwerp is an excellent hotel, but not worth its price (anymore).
Breakfast was great, room wasn't anything special but this is a chain
If you are staying in an executive room, make sure to eat breakfast downstairs and not in the executive lounge. Unless you do not want freshly made (poached) eggs and waffles of course.

Very well-kept rooms and a very tasty and extensive breakfast. The only downside is that WiFi in the rooms is charged, unless for Hilton Hospitality members (which in itself is a paying service). In times of cheap internet, charging the WiFi in an already expensive hotel is a letdown.
Good rooms and nice breakfast. Nice central location.
Very good hotel, clean rooms and a friendly welcome.
Very central and highly recommended to visit anywhere nearby.
Pleasant hotel, even if the lack of staff means that the service is long, very long ...
Very few French tv channels (2) for other nationalities no worries. For food (dinner and breakfast) quality and average.
Awesome location in Antwerp close to a bunch of cool pubs.
Great location in town, but rooms are looking tired and run down.
Really nice hotel, centrally located. Helpful staff. Super clean with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning wasn't so great and that is my only complaint. Opt for an executive room to enjoy the lounge.
Excellent location in the centre of Antwerp. Helped that I was upgraded to a bigger room - which made the stay more enjoyable. One of the best options for any visit to Antwerp.
Vuille Bar ... Dirty at the bar ... The staff are sleepy flies
Very helpful staff. Excellent large room - very comfortable. And in a superb location. We came to Antwerp for the Christmas markets, and one is right outside the hotel. The hallway carpets are looking a little tired. But the hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is excellent.
Great location in the live pianist center with my daughter
If your there during the week it's definitely worth upgrading to lounge access. It's very peaceful and unlike some establishments the wine doesn't disappear too early.
Giant room. Quite cosy. Very nice breakfast. Blessed rolls!
Beautiful location in the heart of Antwerp. Nice ballroom, good food, drinks on the expensive side but not unexpected for the Hilton.
Everything was good, but not as excellent as high-end Hilton used to be in other cities. Still no complain on its services and offers
An enjoyable 3days spent here, staff very efficient as well as friendly. Well placed for looking around antwerp just yards from the cathedral (excellent backdrop to an enjoyable meal in the brassiere) in the opposite direction easy access to the tram and bus network on the edge of groenplaats.
As already hinted at, there is an excellent brassiere, we had three evening meals here, ossobucco with black linguine was wonderful, the steak tartare was probably the best I have eaten anywhere and thoroughly enjoyed the Holstein rib eye steak. The menu also has a vast selection of seafood dishes with the option to select your own lobster or crab.
The brassiere is also the location for breakfast, there is no doubt that everyone should be able to find a breakfast to their liking, with cooked, and cold meat options, cheeses, pastries, fruit, cereals, a variety of fruit juices, healthy smoothies, vegetarian and vegan options.
The only real downside to this hotel was the distance from the room to the lift, as someone with a dodgy knee this can at times be an issue , our room was as far from the lift as it was possible to get! Having requested a room near the lift. Two of the 3 corridors we had to walk along reminded me of 2nd rate horror films, very long, windowless , deserted , musty smelling and a tad creepy, fortunately the exact opposite of the room, spacious, well lit and nicely appointed. The usual coffee, tea selection, an automated mini bar (be warned do not remove items from the fridge as it will automatically charge your room tab). The bathroom had both bath and shower cubicle. The bed was quite firm, which my other half, was not happy with.
This was deluxe room on the third floor.
Would definitely visit here again.
Annoying that you cannot pay with a bank card. Furthermore, fine. Breakfast ordered for the room. Was very much for 2 people.
Decent centrally located hotel, albeit one that lacks character. The beds are very large and comfortable but rooms slightly tired. The restaurant and bar are bright and airy and breakfast is excellent.
Same rate as booked in June. Breakfast was included in June, not in July. The Wi-Fi is not free, but it was in June. A pity, I would have just reserved another hotel. Where do you still pay for WLAN in 2018? Pathetic.
Wonderful old hotel. Very comfortable with a wonderful design. Clean, well-appointed rooms, excellent breakfasts. The staff is friendly and helpful. Staying at the hotel left the best impressions.
What a wonderful hotel to spend a weekend in Antwerp - and a fantastic breakfast! Next time !
Location wise best hotel to stay in Antwerp. Plus the building itself is pretty cool. Good rooms and nice amenities. Mostly, it's right in the middle of Antwerp old town!
Big rooms, really good staff, and a perfect location in the center of Antwerp. The meals are also really nice.
Very nice place to stay in Antwerp. Right in the middle of the city. It's what you can expect from Hilton: beautiful, clean rooms with a lot of space. Delicious breakfast and excellent service (something was not as it should be, but it was immediately put right). One thing on the downside: it's a bit more expensive.
A bit more expensive, but quality, also from local dishes, is correspondingly. Service is great. Antwerp is also popular there, and that for a foreign chain.
Good location. The truth is that there is no one who speaks Spanish. Rooms a bit old.
Attended a conference here. Great location, good meeting facilities, friendly staff. Recommended!
We had a great time staying at Hilton Antwerp. It is located at a prime area, walking distance to the cathedral and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Anne at front desk is friendly and professional and she made me feel welcomed. Breakfast was great, filled with fruits and fruit juices/smoothies and many more. I was asked to fill out the feedback card and they right away acknowledged and acted to improve the minor criticism. Dinner was excellent, food was on point. We really appreciate the welcome email which included gps direction and travel tips, and the welcome letter, chocolate and beer at check in. Hilton is my go-to hotel chain and these small gestures are one of many reasons keeping me as loyal customer. Will definitely return!
I took a coffee with a friend from Italy who was staying at this hotel in the lobby while we had a long conversation about little things. You actually expect a hotel of this class to open a nice braserie or restaurant during the day hours ....... but you won't find that at this hotel. You can sit in the lobby in front of the reception where you can eat something. I cannot judge the hotel itself in terms of rooms and service.
Too expensive for what you get on your plate. Also sat too close to other table
