(Parking) - I just recently stayed here for the Miss Texas USA pageant, and come to find out that parking around downtown Houston is not cheap! I've heard others recommending the Hotel's valet service, but I personally would just make the 2 block walk to the underground parking in the park across the street, $15 all day, but no In-n-Out privileges. Not really necessary, seeing how the bus systems here are awesome, and most everything you need is located nearby.

(Rooms) - What you would expect from a 4-star hotel; comfortable beds, nice bathroom and shower, and spacious. [CONS] - NO microwave or frig. in my room, I would ask if your room comes with one before hand.

(Facilities) - Bad @$$ viewing deck on the 23rd floor along with competitive style swimming pool (three lanes) and a very nice gym

Attended a luncheon with hundreds of people. The food was very good and the staff was courteous and prompt. Valet parking is EXPENSIVE ($19) and took forever to retrieve the car. Do yourself a favor and self-park!

Really comfortable beds, nice room. And it's very close to the convention center and surrounding restaurants. The bar downstairs is also really nice, though a little pricey (but what hotel bar isn't). Definitely an ideal choice to stay in if you're in town for a convention.

I went to an event that had rented out one of their meeting rooms, about 1500 people. Was served dinner and it was great. We were only disappointed that the waitress said that she was not allowed to give us creamer for our coffee, but we could only use the French vanilla. Not a big deal for most, but we were surprised they didn't have any half-and-half about.

From valet welcome and check-in to valet bringing car up the service was 5 star. Rooms well appointed (directv was nice when we turned on tv) bathrooms virtually spotless and fresh with plenty hot water. Towels felt soft and properly laundered. Beds and pillows very comfy. Rates were good for downtown and only 4-5 blocks from Minute Maid Park.

It was okay. Definitely not the best Hilton I've stayed in. The bathroom was surprisingly dirty (black crud along seams, hair stuck to the wall, rusty metal fixtures, etc). The room itself was decent.

The food was not great but it was okay.

The staff was great. The pool and deck are really nice because of the wonderful views. Also, the location is nice if you are going to the Rockets game because the hotel is directly across the street from them.

Super nice accommodations, friendliest staff and best of all, super professional and welcoming, even though we might have been a little rowdy! It was a great experience. Would love to stay again!

Wow! Did you people stay at the same place as I did? NO REFRIGERATOR. Well, we requested one and it didn't work and they had no replacement. Just started putting them in only half the rooms & very tiny - no freezer of course. Oh yes, but they had a coffee maker? Who on earth thinks a coffeemaker is more important than a fridge - symbolism over substance?!

Rooms are not as depicted on website - bait and switch! I now have learned to distrust all hotel pictures due to this Hilton. It's just not honest. They are dark, small and very 70's decor.

Internet is slow and connection plug was damaged. One phone worked, the other didn't.

Though it was trouble for us, we checked out and went across the street to the Embassy suites. Got a better rate, better room - with a fridge and complementary internet.

I'd stay clear of this place, especially for the money!

I stayed there for an B.P.O.E. Elks grand convention and it was one of the best hotels that we have been to and really showed off our organization all over the hotel with our banners and shuttles to & from the convention center and even posted our daily schedule on their tv's. Great place to stay for anything specially a conference at the convention center

Great location and nice, clean rooms. This Hilton has a great coffee bar downstairs and a large bar for after dinner drinks. The hotel itself is very large and seems to have a superior level of Hilton service. Prices are usually reasonable unless it's during season or there is a large conference in town.

This was THE HOTEL! Hands down my best Hilton experience yet. The hotel was very nice, clean, and well kept inside and out. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While we did have a small issue at the hotel restaurant, Zach, the manager did an amazing job of handling the situation with tact and ease. He truly made us feel valued. My wife and I spent our anniversary with the hotel Nicole was far too kind and placed a nice welcome gift for my wife and I in the room! Kudos to the Hilton App for allowing me to pick EXACTLY which room I wanted to stay in! It was truly a wonderful experience and I plan to return to the Hilton Americus the next time I visit Houston! Thanks again for making our stay quite wonderful.

The hotel is very soft, has a spectacular view and in a very good location. What I did not like is that when I booked the room they gave me a price but extra charges continued to appear. In the end, pay an extra 30%.

The lobby is beautiful, the room is very comfortable. I slept so well in the bed. The room had an odd smell to it at first, since they keep the temperature higher on the room when no one is staying in it. There was a convention next door while we stayed and the coffee shop had a crazy line since they only had one register. Would definitely come again on a less busy weekend.

Nice place with a spa upstairs. Hotel rooms are what you should expect from a 4 star hotel. I'm giving 4 stars because the event space and ballrooms were extremely difficult in finding water stations. My picture is the view of the Toyota center from the 13th floor.

I went to the Hilton Americas to attend the Houston Hispanic Chambers of Commerce at the 4th floor convention hall. I only stayed for about 2 hours. Based on my observation, the staff are very courteous, bathrooms are clean, and the breakfast food served to us is delicious.
