Genuinely spectacular hotel. Great views of the city, beautiful architecture, etc.
Newish conference hotel, convenient for the GRB and Toyota center
The hotel was amazing. Very clean, classy, and worth the value. Beds were very comfy. Bonus that there is a Starbucks in the lobby. Only complaint was the valet workers were not very good at communicating and were slow. Otherwise fantastic stay.
Great location with fantastic views. Walking distance to Discovery Green, Minute Maid stadium, and a few restaurants and bars. Front desk staff is always friendly.
Attended a conference. Excellent service and guest rooms, good conference rooms and good, fair parking
Clean well kept older Hilton nestled in River Oaks/Galleria area. Wallabies attractions close by
This is a good Hilton. It has about 1,200 rooms, so it always has rooms when you come in and check in late. Is close to the Toyota Center venue as well as Minute Maid Park and the George R Brown Convention Center. The prices are fairly reasonable for a Hilton and they do have a shuttle service if you need to go elsewhere in town during the early morning and the late afternoon. The rooms are fairly standard but nice and quiet. We go there regularly when we go to Houston for a symphony or concert. The parking is somewhat expensive if you do use valet. However that convenience is well worth the trouble and expense.
We stayed at the Hilton of America, Houston, to attend a Kid Rock concert at the Toyota center. The hotel was very busy, but still offered great service. We had lunch and drinks at the attached Pappasitos. The restaurant was packed, and the service suffered. I ordered a bar drink and it took over 30 minutes to arrive. I got my food, and finished it before my drink ever showed up. That was the only bad thing about the whole experience.
One of our favorite Hilton properties. Great location for our annual pilgrimage to Minute Maid park to watch my Mets and my wife's Red Sox take on the Astros...not to mention clean modern rooms and great service.
The Hilton Americas is a beautiful hotel. The main lobby is spacious and high-end, and includes a Starbucks with clover machine, cafe, bar and restaurant. The service was good, and the rooms are clean and well kept. The two downsides I experienced were (1) the hotel is so big it seemed less "personal", and (2) downtown Houston feels pretty run-down, and parking is very expensive (22$/night self-park, $34/night valet)
I loved the hotel! Great service, extremely nice rooms with comfortable beds. Higly satisfied
Was there for a professional conference, seems like a really nice hotel.
It very nice and walking distance to the convention center. Checked me in right away as I just got in from Maui 7am. Great customer service. Lobby very gorgeous and impressive. SR
The valet was quick and responsive. Their ballroom was an incredible venue for the black tie event I was attending one night. And it was a great base for the Chevron marathon and 5k
Like paradise...Awesome stay, beautiful hotel. Pool and whirlpool are amazing...
Room was very nice. Did not appreciate the high price for parking
My family and I ended up at the Hilton last night , having AC issues at home. Please keep hydrated and in the kool air as much as possible. We ended up here because my daughter looked like she was about to pass out. Bad landlords... After all the issues at home , Hilton checked us in quickly, everything and everyone of the employees were great!! Looks like we might need two more nights out of our home. . Thank you Hilton for such any easy stay!!
Beautiful... Rooms were outstanding and service was top notch!
Central to Houston. Rooms are quite spacious and nice. Staff is extremely helpful. Parking was a bit of trouble, but it was a busy weekend so I understand.
Stayed here a couple times on work trips. I like that it's directly connected to the convention center. It's nice, but also efficiently catered to business travelers. I'm being picky here, but I was super annoyed by the automated message system for voicemail and checking out --way too much needless recording.
Expensive rooms but it feels like every other hotel.
I was waiting on a guest in the lobby downstairs and staff was following me everywhere I go or was going. For what? Eventually I commented to my colleague from out of town for us to meet elsewhere for our meeting and he could return to his room after. Due to the fact 3 different employees were standing at the front lobby where I was too to keep an eye on me?!! It got so far one of the employees went into the radio to tell everyone as if I were trespassing! Ridiculous! 0 stars! Not even a hello this people give you! Where s the hospitality??
It's close to downtown, which is a nice place to hangout in Houston. Really nice rooms and clean rooms. Check in and check out was fast.
Very nice hotel. Also, the only unionized hotel in Houston, which is another reason to stay here.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms and courteous and helpful staff!
Nice clean rooms. Good breakfast. Large meeting rooms.
There is a absolutely nothing wrong with Hilton Americas in Houston, besides maybe the price. Especially that parking garage, it's way too expensive. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, especially the cleaning staff who never said no to any ridiculous thing we asked. The rooms were great, everyone had a beautiful view. The pool deck was fantastic for getting away from the world below. We had a perfect experience at this hotel. I just wish it were less expensive.
Got drinks at the bar. Nice enough place, but overpriced.
If you decide to stay in this place, please visit the pool in the 23rd floor. You will be amazed with the view. I LOVED IT!
Had a great stay room was clean and a good size for the price. Had a nice view from the room could see out over downtown. Will definitely return on my next trip.
Good location.
Trash can on the Vanity top.
Dirty glasses/dishes outside the door.
Long time checking in because they are selling all kinds of upgrading...
Couldn't ask for a better location. Beautiful views of Discovery Green.
Great location. Lots of amenities. Large rooms and caters to families.
It's a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly amd and it is in a very good location.
Wonderful place for a quick get away or extended stay. Loved the location.
Very good hotel very American has THOUSAND rooms. it is located in the down town, it is for the person who is going to work.
Awesome hotel with great staffing and location! Will stay again.
With a convenient location to the convention center, the Hilton is clean, modern, convenient and full of great staff. The sky walk is a nice option if the weather isn't great to get to the convention center and all the food I had from room service was very tasty.
Very Clean, so Far so Good. The people there Very Friendly.
Beautiful hotel and service is great. Right in the heart of downtown.
Great hotel, great service. Parking is little tricky if you are not familiar with the area.
Beautiful lobby with some pretty great art pieces (the chandeliers are so cool!) and very friendly staff at all hours and touch points. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice hotel. Great location. I didn't have a car so I don't know about parking.
Unless you're trying to have your money stolen by the managerial staff, don't come here. I'm not about to get into details, but they stole money from me. I couldn't dispute it because the hotel staff conspired against me and messed up my room and "took pictures" (according to the hotel manager) after I left. Most disgusting and CHEAP experience of my life.
This hotel experience is the worst. You can't choose your bed type. Don't waste your money this Hitlon is not worth the time or money
Very nice and upscale. In busy part of Houston and could hear lots of outside noise.
This hotel is Very elegant highly recommend heated pools, nice rooms just all around beautiful hotel.
Nice hotel, interesting design that leads through the entire building. Good rooms, very quiet, very large hotel. Fantastic pool overlooking the Houston skyline. Expensive parking, with a confusing payment system.
Great environment and decor. Great bar and grill. Cocktails are top Class.
Stayed the night for a little staycation, the room was immaculate, the bar staff was very nice and the drinks were delicious! We enjoyed the pool and the amazing view of downtown Houston. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable get away right in the heart of Houston.
Great place for events . I have attended several weddings and benefit dinners here and the place is always a good experience
Great place for a visit or business, the hospitality is laid back and the security is remarkable. They have a select menu for food and beverage, one of houston best hotels for arrangement.
The service at the spa was absolutely amazing, i will be doing this again soon, the massage was so good i almost asked that woman to Marry me lol
Went in for some Mexican food and drinks. Dope marggies and appytizers. Stupid dope bartenters layin down tha groovelicious service. Drinky drink, dippy chippy, ramma lamma ding dong good time.
Location is placed nicely in the downtown area. Rooms are furnished well. The service is fine. Had no difficulties except that the wifi isn't free in the hotel rooms, only the lobby area.
Good accommodation downtown Houston. The rooms are very clean and the place has many amenities. Also there are many places to visit while staying there. I will come back when I m in Houston and I will definitely recommend.
Very nice. Connected to other hotels and the convention center. Carpets are weird but there is a full Starbucks and the gift shop is nice and reasonable. The staff was very nice but the pool was much nicer at the Marriott marquis
Good hotel but with the air conditioning to the ceiling in the lobby x Dios !!
