Super nice and clean, came for a convention and enjoyed my stay.
Great hotel with friendly staff. Just be sure to bring a jacket as they keep the place colder than the arctic
We predominantly stay at Hilton Hotels wherever we travel as most have a very high customer service standard. On a recent trip to Houston for an event at the Toyota Center, we stayed at the Hilton Americas-Houston and to quote my 8 year old son this hotel ranks an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10 . Our room was on the 19th floor executive level overlooking Discovery Green and it was magnificent!!! This particular floor was recently upgraded and was spectacular. The access to the executive lounge and outdoor courtyard on the 24th floor is very nice. The executive lounge has phenomenal views, great snacks and drinks, and just a relaxing place to take a break. I could write more but don t have the time so I ll just close with saying this is one of the best, if not the best hotel to stay at in downtown Houston, especially if your going to an Astros game or event at the Toyota Center.
Very beautiful with soft lighting and open style bar in lobby. Fresh scented lobby at all times. Computers and WiFi free to use. Chihuly glass fixtures throughout lobby. Staff extremely nice. Go for the all you can eat breakfast buffet when you check in ($15 for each day) and it s delicious (must do this at check in). They give you vouchers to pay. You provide tip. The rooms were clean and spacious as well as quiet. Very big hotel separated into two towers. It connects to a bridge that leads into the convention center so you never have to go outside unless desired. I would stay here next time in Houston. Great views.
comfortable very good view to spend holidays with family and friends oh honeymoon
Nice rooms and staff, and it's connected to the convention center. Our bellhop was super friendly and gave us a nice tour of the room and hotel. The restaurant downstairs has a gluten free menu, and the manager came out to discuss my special dietary needs for breakfast. There's also a bar and Pappasitos, but we didn't go there. My only negative experience was that the hotel would not store my cold food for me after check out, until my conference was over. I have my own food because of food allergies (I lucked out with the omelet, but didn't plan to eat at restaurants). Other hotels I've visited have stored it in a cooler for me, so I expected that from this one. However, they did give me a complimentary late check out and extra bags for ice.
Loved this place!! Kid friendly and luxurious at the same time. The customer service was terrific and everyone looked happy just to help. We will be back soon and OFTEN.
Beautiful hotel, placed right next to the convention center with easy access
Great people, great food and overall great experience!
Great experience. Beautiful hotel. Rooms are clean and have great views.
Stayed @ the Hilton for business conference. Comfortable rooms, great service, excellent food.
Room was pretty clean except windows had hand prints still on them. My colleague still had food in his refrigerator from a prior guest and the bottle of water was half drank. The staff did do a good job making up for it though.
This hotel has beautiful views if your room faces the park! Rooftop eating with nice views. The pool and outside deck are really great.
This was the best Hotel I have stayed at in a long time. Really enjoyed the workout center with the view and the pool. Also has a great Mexican restaurant downstairs.
13th floor, nice room, conveniently located across from the convention center
The steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The crab cakes were also very good.
Stayed here during a trade show and had a great experience. Will definitely stay here again.
Too big to busy for me . Rooms were horrible in decor and no bath robes
Very nice hotel. Great staff. Vegas quality rooms.
Great hotel. Very comfortable beds. Starbucks right inside the lobby. Fantastic location! Very happy with our stay here.
Great hotel, very convenient to the convention center. Has a fantastic lounge for HH members too
Nice location. Nice amenities overall. Rooms were a bit small but clean and well furnished. Comfortable beds. The faucet was leaky and there was no microwave.
The Baker-Ripley Heart of Gold luncheon was beautiful staged; best kudos to the planning committee and to the venue for being such great hosts.
Again I was here with the Delta Sigma Theta Harlem Jazz Fundraiser
Stayed here last year with a friend, as impressed with this visit as I was then. Great place to stay!!
Really nice here. Looking forward to my weekend stay.
Hilton-Houston is a great looking hotel. I was there for a banquet that served roast and mashed potatoes that were also great.
I only dropped my mother inlaw off there for a work event, but she said the rooms are very nice and the hotel in general is cool.
Wonderful hotel. A few hiccups but addressed swiftly and then no other incidences.
At the morning events, conference services made a point to having a hands in approach to my dietary needs. Well done.
Can't speak on overnight amenities but the ballroom and food were amazing.
Meh
I don't think I'll be back anytime soon
I walked in to use the restroom and get a cup of joe at Starbucks. Very swanky place they got there.
Convenience is not the keyword here. It s an amazing hotel with various amenities and services but getting here is not the easiest. They do make up for it by being in a very close distance to various important locations such as George r Brown, discovery green, and various restaurants
Excellent so fancy but a little expensive compared to other places by th same category
Excellent hotel with friendly staff and great amenities.
Excellent drinks with a fun atmosphere. The space was huge and the rooms were spacious. Starbucks was perfect for afternoon break and the bathrooms we're exceptionally clean.
There's nothing we didn't love about this place. Tried the executive level one night (before we switched to a 'regular' room) and it was so worth it, with the fantastic hors d'oeuvres that was enough for dinner for me, and an amazing continental breakfast. I would love to stay here again! The views are wonderful from almost any room, the indoor upper level pool was so wonderful, as was the large Jacuzzi hot tub. Very nice exercise room and spa as well. Nice location and my daughter really enjoyed herself.
Beautiful views, close to discovery park and plenty if night life. Only downside is that all the restuarant/bars close at midnight, but it is in downtown, so it is an easy uber away.
Great central location right next to the convention center. Service was nice and rooms were clean.
Great location. Consistent service. Food is respectable, but there are better options within a small radius (walking or driving).
Front desk was friendly, atnosphere was amazing, felt completely welcome!
Stayed here in July of 2018. The executive lounge is fantastic. Plenty of choices on the breakfast bar as well as good selection of evening snacks. One of my favorite things about the executive lounge is the cappucino/latte machine.
I also had great service from the hotel staff. I somehow latched the door behind me and it was almost time for me to leave and catch my plane. The staff worked quickly to get me back in my room so I could get my luggage.
Perfect location for the convention center, nice rooms, great workout facilities, decent food. Really nothing to complain about, except for the cost.
Rooms were very modern and clean. Staff was excellent. Close to several good restaurants.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, & beautiful view from the pool deck
Gorgeous interior and very nice, clean room. Conveniently located near lots of good restaurants and bars
Very much enjoyed my stay while taking a set of corporate headshots for a sales team conference.
Top notch hotel, but falls short on a few things for a place of its status...
My family had a wonderful time staying at the Americas-Hilton in downtown Houston. Centrally located in the heart of downtown, it made it very easy for us to attend the convention next door and walk around the city. Our first class room was fully stocked with amenities and the cleaning crews diligently made sure the room looked the way it did when we first arrived. Staff were kind enough to combine two separate bookings into one reservation to avoid us having to check-out/check-in again during our stay.
The only two downsides were that due to remodeling they did not have complimentary breakfast available (only the $20 breakfast buffet, even though budget motels will at least offer free cold continental breakfast) -- and when I was chasing my daughter around the hotel room, there were nooks and crannies in the room that did not get a proper vacuuming/dusting in a long time.
Great hotel. Parking is limited but staff is super nice
Beautiful, fancy, clean and stylish has nice furniture in lobby a great Starbucks and a bar. I wasn't staying there just visiting for Comicpalooza next year gonna stay there.
Located at the center of the city, which makes it hard and expensive to find a convenient parking spot for your vehicle. The hotel is decent and feels elegent.
Hotel staff is very friendly. The room was very clean, had a great view of the city, and the bed was very comfortable.
Beds are super comfortable and staff very nice. Wish they had microwave in room.
Friendly staff at the front desk. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
A beautiful hotel in downtown Houston. The rooms were nice and view from the pool is spectacular.
Amazing hotel, beautiful lobby. Nice and comfy beds
Heart of downtown, rooms always neat, fresh smell of flowers when entering
Amazing hotel. Great place for conferences. The rooms were comfy and clean. Favorite part was the gym. Great views and awesome equipment.
