Highland Brewing Company was very nice. The staff was very conscious of the Social Distancing guidelines & enforced them. This is my first visit to Asheville, NC breweries and I am glad I visited & plan to visit again

Whitney and Grant we so helpful during the whole process of having our wedding reception at HBC. Everyone that attended that I spoke with loved that we had the reception at a brewery and they all loved the space and how it was decorated. There was a great spot for the DJ and plenty of room to dance. They worked so well with us, the caterer and our wedding coordinator. Everything was amazing and we were even able to take some pictures in the brewery before the reception started! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and beautiful place to have a party or wedding reception.

Very disappointed that they allowed tourists like my family to book a tour on July 4th but when we arrived, the front door was closed and the notice said the company was closed on this day. No courtesy email or phone call to provide prior notice, which means either total disrespect or poor organization.

Friends living in Asheville took me to Highland Brewing in May for a local experience and what a great experience it was on a warm Friday night on the banks of Gashes Creek with the Aussie Geoff Achison and the Soul Diggers band performing live on stage. Didn't get to do a tour but overall it's a great outdoor location to sit and chat with friends while having a meal, a beer or two, and live music. What else would you want?

Highland is a craft brewery in an old warehouse. They have a big open space with a lot of nice wooden furniture. They had a good variety of beer. We tried a few and they were all good, but seemed standard. Service was nice and everyone was friendly. They also had an outdoor area.

Great venue for shows and awesome selection of craft brews! Very environmentally conscious, bringing an old railway repair depot to life and having to clean up the past sins of Southern RR. They are even establishing a hiking trail and striving to rid the forest property of invasive species and cleaning up the nearby creek. There are usually food trucks providing good quality eats. Spacious taproom with a stage as well as outdoor venues for bigger shows.

Great place to have a drink and relax! They are doing a great job with COVID precautions which is very appreciated including designated areas for each group while outside in the meadow and being stringent with inside mask wearing when not at the table. Will definitely return!

Cool location! It was pretty cold and dark when we were here so we weren't able to walk around much, but next time I'm in town I'll have to! The beer was great and the space is very nice and can hold a lot of people but doesn't feel crowded.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. The staff there are wonderful and the atmosphere is very Asheville. In the Spring and Summer they Meadow is open so you can bring blankets and chairs and enjoy the outdoors while sipping on great beer. Also going to have a new rooftop bar!

The brewery is located in an old industrial building. The front deck is very well done, and there is a nice ramp for those on walkers or in wheelchairs.
The inside is cavernous yet well lit. The tables are well crafted from live edge lumber and give a unique rustic edge to the overall industrial ambience.
The bar carries beer (in a brewery, imagine that! ;) ), too many to list, with different brews during the year, plus sodas and a hard cider option for the ciderheads. Be sure to get water from the water keg tap.
The bathrooms were clean but not spotless. They are located to the left if coming in the main entrance, and could be better marked.
Almost everyone in our party got a flight of beers to taste. Our choices were made based on the descriptions and advice from the bar staff. We were happy with most of our choices. The German Mandarina and Cold Mountain were enjoyed by all, as was the St Theresa.
There was no live music, we went before it started. The music playing was at an enjoyable level.
Overall, an enjoyable experience. Reccomended if you want to get a little out of the main downtown area!

Great family atmosphere especially on Sundays for reggae 1-4 p.m. with Chalwa. Our kids had a great time and so did we! Can't wait to experience our next Primus concert here on the meadow this September.

The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable of the beers and area and always fun to talk to. Highland is a must visit on any trip to Asheville and a great hang out for locals. The field is great for kids, the tasting room is cozy and has great music and the roof top bar is a great place to hang out!!
