I ate one of the best amala in this joint, wow!!! It was so delicious with ewedu soup mixed with gbegiri and goat meat. Uhm. The environment and toilet however was not palatable at all. I think they can do better with that one

Adequate parking space, food is okay, BUT:
-only cash payments taken
-servers look tired & talk disinterested
-amala is TINY! Attached are photos and you need to see them! (For better quantity for your money, others are easily a better choice)
-do not go at peak times; if we had to wait at all, it wouldn't have been at all worth it.
Good luck to all who choose to brave this place.

Iya Oyo would be a 5 star for many if you're assessing only the favourite traditional meals and local setting. Iya Oyo is true to its Yoruba roots, serving only meals from the South-West of Nigeria. Even the rice & beans are served in Yoruba style. You would expect the unique peppery dishes but only the vegetable soup is that hot. Gbegiri & ewedu - amazing combo.

Everyone queues to be served, and Iya Oyo hosts over 60 customers an hour. The queue moves quickly though; needs better control at the soup point.

Iya Oyo has ample parking space so that your car is not blocked by another while you sweat over your plate of Amala. It also spots some cleverly hidden urinals outside - for men. Urinals for women must be secluded somewhere.

I give it a 3 star rating because service and staff attitude can be greatly improved. Consistency of the taste and quality of the kpomo needs checking, as well as availability of choice drinks. Reporting channels for complaints need to be provided. Also, Iya Oyo accepts ONLY cash payment

The local delicacies here are delicious and well prepared. The environment is well sanitized. Dishes are affordable depending on the quantity you wanna consume. Ample eating and parking space. You can get amala, pounded yams, white rice, beans and assorted soft drinks here.

Fantastically hot meal, very good value and reasonably priced meal. Your burka experience in good ambience. No POS, no transfer, boldly stated. Take away food available but no home delivery o.
Entrance can be better paved though, rough drive way down to the restaurant will shake your car and you a little. But will go again and again.

I really don't know the Foss about this place. D food is just normal and I hate the service. Like u have to hold a plate and queue in line like a begger. I know people love it but I'm sorry I can never recommend this place until they change Their mode of service.

Ambience isnt fantastic. Just enough parking space as people go in and out. The food is loved by many. Amala, eba, pounded yam, beans, rice and a variety of stew and soups to choose from - efo, ewedu, gbegiri, ila, egusi. Then theres fish, meat, innards (roundabout, shaki, bokoto, kidney, etc etc).

Theres usually some wait, so it will be good to budget between 20-40mins to get served.

You cannot pay with a POS, no delivery and you cannot pre-order by phone.

You can get regular take away packs or the small buckets for soup/stew.
