We had an amazing server who took care of us and our food sensitivities! If she did not know she would asked and sometimes double check just to make sure there was no cross contamination. I wish her nothing but the best.
Love their steak salad! Great place for lunch or dinner. Excellent service! However just make sure to go during off hours during tourist season.
This place is awesome...best french onion soup, best french dip and fish tacos and all desserts made in house excellent. Pitcher of sangrias best bang for your buck...We will be back

This was my first visit. The food was excellent and so was the service. Nice atmosphere. We sat near the bar and it wasn't too loud. I requested a drink that was not on the menu and our server made it from my description and It was very good.

Their service is excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Everything always comes out quickly (especially considering things are made to order) looking and tasting AMAZING! Because everything is made to order they have no trouble customizing meals to individual preferences (they have quite a few vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, plus are willing and able to customize pretty much anything to make the customer happy, which is definitely not the norm in this area). The food is always well prepared using fresh ingredients, and they have some familiar menu options as well as interesting twists on different dishes. Because Hershey can get extremely crowded during concerts, events, and peak tourist season, occasionally there is a long wait (in which case I recommend getting your order to go & having a car picnic, that's what we do)! If I had a complaint it would be that because they change their menu frequently a few of my favorite menu items have disappeared (goodbye, Truck Stop Fries and Yum Yum Veggie Burger) but there are always new and innovative dishes to fall in love with (hello, Parmesan Frites and Firecracker Cauliflower) and luckily my two stand-by favorites (Roasted Tomato Bisque and
Tuscan White Bean Salad) always seem to stick around!
Got the crabcake dinner which was DELICIOUS. If you like mushrooms, splurge for the cheese stuff deep fried mushrooms which were amazing. I definitely plan to go back. I totally wish I could remember the name of our fantastic waiter.
We were a party of 8 that went to Houlihan's because they have patio. We waited half an hour to be seated due to COVID limitations (also they dont do reservations despite a 25% capacity restrictions) but when we arrived at our table it was actually two tables that were spaced in a way that did not allow us to interact during our meals. I understand that there are limitations and practicalities associated with the pandemic restrictions but if we had been warned we couldn't even sit together we would have made other arrangements. There were also two separate ten tops accommodated at a single table during the period we were there, so it wasn't an issue of limits on overall table size.
I really think this is the best Houlihans in the entire chain. I've been to others that were dumpy. This is really clean, cool looking, great service, and great food. They do get busy during dinner times so be prepared to wait 15 minutes or so but I think it's totally worth the wait. They are reasonably priced and it's fun to bring a large group. It can get loud in there but I like the atmosphere.
Love the menu. Prices are a little higher for a chain restaurant, but the birthday coupon is great. If you sign up for their emails the coupon is for$15 off an entree. I recommend the long island iced tea pitchers although my wife loves the martini flights.

Having dinner with my husband and daughter, they both ordered filet mignon. My husband's was about an inch thick and my daughter's was about two inches thick. I pointed it out to the waitress and she said it shrunk as a result of cooking. Funny, they were both ordered medium. Then, my daughter showed her undercooked filet to the waitress and sent it back to be cooked medium. When the manager returned with her filet, I asked him what steak my husband was eating and without hesitation he said, the sirloin.

Food is very good. If you go for happy hour go early, high tops and bar area fills in a hurry. We will definitely go back when in Hershey.

Very disappointed. No plans to return here in the near future. First, the table we were seated at was sticky, not cleaned properly and the benches also were tacky to sit on. We waited way to long to be acknowledged by a server. When we finally were she was very frazzled. I guess from trying to cover to many tables. Yet, through the whole dinner I observed three managers standing around the check in station doing absolutely nothing. Waste of payroll. Sever took our drink order and dinner order at same time. Returned 10 minutes later with our salads. NO drinks, just salad. SERIOUSLY, aren t drinks suppose to come first . My wife was not able to get the drink she wanted, was informed they were out of that alcohol. Meal arrived to quick. Could not help wonder if they were trying to move people out quick. My chicken was undercooked. Was not asked if we wanted drink refills. Check was given to us and that was it. Not a memorable experiences. Zero stars. We got there at the right time as the dinner crowd was starting to pour in. Being we had a concert to go to we lucked out getting 2 seats at the bar. They had a happy hour menue and we had an order of the shrooms. I thought I ordered onion peels, like the onion blossom served at restaurants, but it was stuffed mushrooms. I have to say they were good. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and I had the French dip. Both were tasty. I had a baked potatoes and after eating it I found a 1 inch round ball of I don't know what? The waiter took it back were he said the kitchen attempted to cut it open, but could not determine what it was either. They did give me another potatoe, but sadly to say I ended up with a stomach ache later that night. Not fun having to drive to the shore late night with a stomach ache either. I have rarely ever had a stomach ache in my entire life, and possibly could have been from the potaoe I was eating? There was something definitely wrong or rotten in it, but did not notice it until I had already ate some of it. Other than that the restaurant seemed like the very happening spot! The restaurant is very large inside with outside patio and lg parking lot on side. Definitely a good place to go, but try to get there before 5 as they get very crowded after with everyone leaving Hershey Park, or going to Hershey Arena for concerts.

My family ate at the restaurant before heading to Hershey park. We sat outside and our table was dirty and there was food on the floor underneath our table. I had to complain to the manager twice. My meal arrived and it was the Salmon, and to my surprise it was so tiny. The size to feed a small child. The waitress said sorry but the 5oz is the only size they offer. But does it have to be so small! And the mash potatoes portion was also tiny. The food taste great just not filling. I would not recommend this place. I won't be going back.

Food was okay. Server was not on top of the table. Waited 25minutes for dessert . They brought dessert after we gave payment. The server Cameron said, " I don't know why they didn't bring the dessert sooner." Took dessert to go.
Call ahead seating is a joke. Yesterday we were driving 2.5 hours to take our son who attend the local college, out for his 21st birthday. I was aware that we would arrive during the busier times, so I called at 4om and after their outgoing message for their call ahead seating policy, it allows you to leave a message. I left a message at 4pm, 5 pm and 530pm. When we arrive at 630, I was told they don't check the messages during this time and it was going to be an hour wait. Given we still had to drive home, we had to go find another restaurant. Very disappointed in their whole process. We have eaten their before and the food is good, I am only explaini g my feedback for their call ahead seating process.

This is a pretty typical chain restaurant. The food is always decent and overall experience is driven by how good your server is. It's a big place with a great view of Hershey in walking distance of a lot of things. It's a good place for a quick lunch.
We first arrived at this place at 6:30 and was told to wait 45 minutes for our reservation. So we gave it a chance and we waited. And as the time passed we realized we were waiting for hour and a half. We then went in to the establishment to claim a table, but was told by rude staff that 10 customers were still in front of us. Would not recommend ever.

Restaurant is very noisy-poor acoustics, and the music is too loud. The service was also poor. The food was good, however.
Always great food and great service! We go here at least once a month and I have never had a meal that I didn't enjoy. The small plates are great for sharing or ordering a couple and making a meal out of them. The place is always busy in the evenings so be sure to get there early if you don't want to wait to be seated. After 6pm the line is sometimes out the door. If you still have room at the end of your meal they have a nice selection of desserts to choose from.
The pictures I posted are of a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Steak and Wedge Salad. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a sesame glazed chicken sprinkled with scallions, wonton strips in the middle, a cup of peanut ginger sauce and large iceberg lettuce leaves. The steak and wedge salad is one of my favorites and comes with a 5oz sirlion steak, a wedge of iceberg lettuce covered with a generous amount of blue cheese dressing sprinkled with bacon and spicy pecans, red beets and green beans on the side. There is a generous slic of gorgonzola cheese for topping your steak and my favorite fried polenta croutons.
Checked in early for our reservation, told it would be 45 minutes. An hour and a half later we left and went somewhere else. Very loud and noisy atmosphere.

Deck atmosphere was great and good physical distance. Asian salad was different and delicious. Hours are wrong online. They open before 12 noon.

The food at Houlihans was fresh and amazing! The chicken tortilla soup and the shrimp tacos were worth every penny! The prices were fair especially for the freshness and quality of the ingredients used. This is a great food option for anyone in the surrounding area.
I like a few of the appetizers (namely the wings, the avo toast, and the spicy eggrolls) and they have great drinks and happy hour specials. I have yet to have bad service (hopefully didn't just jinx myself). I'm always down to meet up with a friend at Houlihan's.

Oh the food was delicious! I would definitely go again and takes family and friends for the taste of the food.
But the service is not up to speed. There were so many gaps of time in between the time we could get a hold of a waiter for something they forgot to do or for something we needed. They threw away the top to the Birhday Cake box. It was said to be an accident but nevertheless it left us to have cram the rest of the cake in several take out boxes.
We were seated immediately in what seemed like a fairly crowded restaurant, and the service was excellent. Our server was on top of the drinks and the food came out very quickly. Overall great restaurant with awesome staff.

Never there before...
Stopped for lunch on a Saturday, no reservations, got seated in a few minutes. The place was about 2/3's full.
Our server (Lisa) was very friendly, quick, attentive and pointed out some popular dishes to us. We went with the Asian Chicken Salad and Korean Chicken. Both were very good. Served fresh, hot and a decent portion, plenty for us. We also got a few drinks - a Chocolate Martini (which was really good), a Happy Be Mango drink (also really good) and a Captain & Pepsi (well made).
Total for both meals and drinks $58.
The Cons ... meals took a little longer to get than we expected, about 30min. The place was very clean, tables were bussed quickly but wear & tear are obvious. They have an outside patio, but maybe half shaded?
Overall, it was a really good visit ... food, service, drinks, cleanliness were no issue and we'd go back.
My boyfriend and I had our very 1st date here almost a year ago. It was my 1st time there. The food is amazing I recommend the tomato soup.

We sat at the bar just to have an app and a drink, basically a break from the chaos and kids. There were a few bartenders who were very fast with the tickets coming in but those seated at the bar were an inconvenience. The guy serving us was a straight up jerk, I can't describe it in a nicer way. He thought he was funny, but he was actually incredibly rude. The drinks were very, very skimpy. DO NOT get a cocktail here. Only beer/wine. We watched him kick a bottle of Jack in my drink, barely a splash, then fill it with juice and served it. I even made a joke about it "is there any Jack in that juice"? when he gave it to me and he's like "oh yea I really hooked you up". No, not even close. This was 2 different drinks and finally we had to leave, this guy was just plain rude. We had the chips and guacamole but it's not even worth mentioning because the service ruined everything.
Nothing to rave about, but it is a nice place to have a more pricey lunch or dinner. The bill can rack up quickly, but lunch can be affordable. It is really nice that they display all their calorie info.

I got the fish and chips. Very good. The dill sauce for the fish was outstanding. You get a big portion of fish. They could stand to give you a few more chips but no doubt it gets five stars.

We came in with a large group of 30. They were able to accommodate us in about 15 minutes that we could all in the same section. Our food arrived in a timely manner and all were served in about the same 5 minutes so that we were able to leave at about the same time. friendly wit staff.

Even being busy they got our party of 6 sat in a timely manner and our server Cody was on point...he was there with refills right away, he was very personable and friendly...he replaced silverware as soon as it was taken away...when we go back we will definitely be asking for him to wait on us...one of the best servers I have had in a long time...
The food was great but the chicken while intending to be grilled was charred so much that all you tasted was burned chicken. This dish I normally get is quite good and is not normally overcooked. The atmosphere is great and food is friendly to most any alergy. They are a scratch kitchen and use fresh ingredients.

It ended up being about 25 mins, whjjch was less than quoted. We had the spinach dip, which was delicious. For dinner I ordered the new fish and chips, which is made with cod. It was really good! My husband ordered the meatloaf which replaced the pot roast from years past and the meatloaf was delicious! Don't get me wrong the pot roast was amazing and I really think they need to bring it back, but the meatloaf was a close substitute. We had a brownie sundae for dessert which was heavenly. I do rexoend going here: good food and atmosphere. Just have to be prepared to wait a little!!
No wait on a summer Saturday night in a tourist town. Food was very good and the price was right, 22.95 for two very good crab cakes and two sides. Server was very polite and good at her job as well.

Great place to eat in Hershey! Parking is FREE and abundant. Chicken tortellini soup and Atlantic caught salmon is very good Best time to go is after 8 pm or before 5 pm. otherwise there will definitely be a wait.

Food was amazing, big, big seating area. Lots of variety of choices to eat and in the winter there s a warm fireplace to sit near. Depends on how many people are in your group that determines the wait for food. The wait was pretty long for my 12 person group, but the food was very good and worth the wait. Serving sizes were decent and our server was very attentive.
Why pay big $$$ for a rubbery, dry, over cooked steak you can get anywhere in Hershey for way cheaper? You might as well just donate your money to the foodbank or throw it out the window. Why travel hundreds of miles to Hershey Pennsylvania to waste big money for steaks that taste and feel like knobby truck tires?
