Such a beautiful theatre! Easy to get in and out and the roving ice cream sellers at intermission was very welcomed

Great acoustics and staging for shows. Unfortunately, people from halfway back and beyond will have trouble seeing anything that may be happening up higher

Rocky horror show was my first live theater experience WOW an absolutely AMAZING show. Nice venue with very friendly and helpful staff.

I understand restricted viewing may mean you can't see every angle but when a motorised gopher is parked in front of you as well I think your ticket should be free

Went to see shrek the musical. Sounds was good view was good even though I was in one of the worse seats.

Have been for a number of fantastic musicals. The staff are always very friendly and polite. The architecture of the building is absolutely amazing, well worth a look!!

Great theatre! especially the Willy Wonka, everything was fantastic and the staff was friendly too. too deliciously to missed it

Show was fantastic and a bit unexpected. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Seating could be improved, not enough space between rows to be comfortable when you have long legs.

Such a beautiful place to watch a production. You can feel the history of this place while you re there.

Loved the show, facilities are showing their age but still a great venue.

Went to go and see Matilda which was amazing. Local restaurants also do great deals before a show. :)

Excellent service. We were a party of 5 with ordinary seats at the back of theatre and this very thoughtful young girl moved us to much better seats closer and centre to the stage for free. Very much appreciated. Thank you

Still haven't had a response about my complaint about not being able to see from a $200 seat.

I did get a response eventually and it was better than I could have expected. 2 tickets to the Carole King musical Beautiful, great seats in the front row of the dress circle. I was very impressed with such excellent customer service and keeping the audience happy.

Absolutely amazing performance of Aladdin, one of the best musicals I've seen and I've seen alot! Beautiful theatre, comfy seating and friendly staff. The architecture is so typical Victorian with intricate fittings and edging with many details plaster designs.

Narrow seating arrangements, very squashed in and hard to see the stage.

Watched Les Mis from the grand level. The stage and decoration were awesome, the music and the actor's voice were very clear - not that far, in terms of resonance quality, with the Star in sydney. However, the seating is quite cramped, and it will be worse if you somehow scored a seat that close to a bit bigger people around you.

Seats are a bit old, but otherwise a great building

Great customer service from all staff and one of the easier theatres in Melbourne to access regarding parking.

It's a great place to see a show but if you are a tall and person there is no leg room...very uncomfortable. The seating needs to be redone

first time there or any musical for that matter bought the missus some tickets for west side story very large joint to say the least worth a look but if you are scared of hights done go any higher than the 2nd row

Amazing theatre, little leg room though. In saying that it was hard to notice when the show was so amazing.

Lovely venue and staff. Enjoyed Aladdin musical thoroughly. The foyer area is smaller than the Regent Theatre's and has an overall less intimate feel. Lots of parking located nearby which is ideal.

There should be children free events $300 to have poorly behaviour front and back I get they ate getting an amazing experience but really their parents were just as bad have special children days

I watched Les Mis here and had a really good seat (was on a slight slope). However when I came back for Aladdin this weekend, I don't know whether it was because the guy sitting infront of me was really tall but his head was blocking my entire view. Wasn't too happy about this because I couldn't see what was happening half the time.

The building itself is beautiful but the furnishings are in need of some care.

Smaller and less impressive than Regent but nice regardless. Saw Beautiful here, great show

This is the old school Victorian theatre were the seats are tightly place from each other. The sound system tho is impressive. Watch the Book of Mormon here and it was just amazing!

Great theatre. you have to go and experience the arts, the theatre , the magic .

If you are any bigger than the "average" person, you need to be completly hypnotized by the show or you will constantly reminded of how uncofortable and smal the seats are. Lovly place but likr any other place, if you are uncomfy... you wont like it!

Historic and beautiful, the theatre is easy to access by public transport. Don't be tempted by the good however, it is absurdly expensive.

What a wonderful outing we had at the Theatre! Incredible atmosphere, amazing production of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, staff are fabulous & friendly! I did just take 1 star off, because I think it s time you added a lift up to the better seats, and add more female toilets! Other than that, the old girl has aged incredibly well. Look forward to being able to get back to the theatre again one day.

Went to see Aladdin.. it was wonderful and the staff and venue added to the experience
