Soooo neat! This is one of the best Bass Pro Shops I have been to! There is a little museum of the history of Bass Pro Shops as well as an NRA gun museum with some fantastic displays. There are aquariums all over the store and live fowl swimming around the ponds. We could have easily spent another hour in here and still not seen everything. Give it a visit! Admission to the actual Aquarium does cost extra.

Great

You will find a variety of things to do and see including one of the largest aquariums in the midwest. As with every Bass Pro Shop amazing shopping is to be had, plus this location offers a history of how Bass Pro Shops came to be the premiere outdoor outfitter it is today.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Aspen was our cashier she didn't ask it i wanted to use points. Definitely made a sad end to our experience of bass pro probably won't be traveling to this store again. Customer service with a smile doesn't apply here.

What, seriously?! Where else would you go to pay your respects at the Altar of American Excess, but the National Headquarters for Bass Pro Shops, in Springfield, MO. They have city signs across town herding you there, so don't fret, just genuflect,..,..,..

I'm not a huge personal fan of Bass Pro Shops, as I'm not a hunter and I don't really like the owner that much. It's really interesting on the inside, but I worry that the animals aren't treated with enough respect or given enough room to live.

Extremely busy, employees were of no help, didn't do any exhibits because I have been to things like this before and I am not willing to pay that much. Crazy expensive. Then you get harassed by their time share salesmen.

Reduced their military discount but still like some of their products. Oh and dont get your knife sharpened there unless you have the older gentlemen doing it because the young punks dont know how to

This place is huge and fun, it has several stories, a carnival style shooting range, a restaurant and so much inventory you can easily get lost. My only concern is that while they do have wild animals, the habitats are too small especially the alligator's. If animals are going to be bred or captured for human amusement, they AT least need to be well taken care of.

What can I say. I love going to the bass pro near my house but this place is huge! I loved the NRA museum and archery museum. Walked all over he store for hours just looking around. All the different wildlife themed areas and dioramas was awesome. Didnt want to leave but had to head home.

I love anything and everything about nature. Bought some gifts for family and new winter boots for me. I love them. Just visiting the store and seeing the taxidermy animals and antlers is cool. Several places to sit down, look at the turtles and fish. They also have food and drinks in the store, that's a plus. Go have fun here

This was one of my highlights whilst visiting the States. This is a living and breathing museum and zoo. I spent a packet on clothing that I can't get back here in Australia. The NRA museum was interesting. Could have spent a whole day here.

This Bass Pro Shop is amazing in many ways. It's a large store, aquarium and museum. Family friendly with fish and turtles to entertain children. I did not visit the aquarium. The archery and ammunitions museums are interesting and thoughtfully curated. Lots of attention to detail went into the construction of the facility. The preservation and display of the original Bass Pro shop with products and pricing matching the era is fun to walk through.

My family and I have been to the Springfield, MO store once & Katy, TX store three times. We have enjoyed walking around looking at all the attractions and shopping. We always look forward to our trips to the Bass Pro Shops. We live in a small East Texas Town. My whole family finds stuff they just have to have. The Bass Pro Shops are best outdoor stores around! Well worth the drive, for us!

This isn't just a store, it's a like a tourist attraction that you can enter for free. The inside is beautiful, with massive multi level taxidermy displays and aquariums. Of course, the merchandise is good quality. One word of advice: near the main entrance is a kiosk for a timeshare company. If you are not interested in that short of thing, walk on the far side of the aisle and don't make eye contact with the reps. If you're a "people-person" like me, that may be hard, but if you get in a conversation, it may be hard to get away. All-in-all, Bass Pro Shop is a great place to visit! You could spend hours here.
