Hemingway's Blue Water Cafe, White River Conference Center, Bass Pro Shops Review

We spent 3 hours walking around to explore the various exhibits without spending a dollar. This is definitely the mother store!

Wow! Just wow! If you get the opportunity to visit the aquarium.....do it! Well worth the money. The kids will love it as there is Stingray "petting" along with an opportunity to dive with sharks and touch anemones! There are AAA discounts and military discounts to get in.

Went to the aquarium and Wonders of Wildlife! Very impressive and interesting collection. We bought unlimited passes. Great place to take out of town guests that come to visit.

I've enjoyed coming here since I was a child, a great place to bring family, even if you just walk around! Lots of animals and great things to see. It would be great if they would finally finish their wildlife museum!

Sat and waited 45 minutes to see fish feeding show. Checked the website and nothing was mentioned about it being cancelled. No signs out front at any of the entrances. Guy walks in and past crowd ...comes back 5 minutes later asking us, a room full of people if we were waiting for the show, then says it's cancelled because they treated the water so the diver can't go in! You think they would have let people know in advance unless that was just an excuse that was made up. Very very disappointed i wasted 45 minutes waiting and it could have been avoided!

A great way to spend a few hours, even if your aren't looking to buy anything. It is filled with interesting displays of great taxidermy. Also, the firearm and archery museums are neat to walk through. My family and I spent close to three hours just wondering around looking at everything.

We went on vacation to Springfield Missouri. We went to the Bass Pro Shop and it was a wonderful thing to see. There were alligators fish tanks fishing gear everything you could want for fishing, camping and hunting. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because at least three times someone came up to me trying to sell me a timeshare. Other than that the staff was very friendly and it was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

Over priced. I can go to Academy Sports and Amazon and get the majority of what they sell a lot cheaper. Their "fish" take are highly over rated. If you include their restaurant in the review it would knock them down to 1 star.

Bass Pro is the place to get all your hunting or fishing essentials under one roof with all the clothing and candy treats for kids and the best gun collection this side of Cody Wyoming , you can spend a day enjoying yourself , Johnny Moriss has done outstanding job with all his Bass Pro stores .

Great place to bring family, they have high quality products, the only reason didn't give it a 5, is because I can't afford a lot of their stuff, they do have some pretty good sales though.

Been a long long time customer with bass pro in Springfield Mo. But I think Mr. Morris lost a lot of loyal customers with this mornings black friday gun sales. How could you not take care of the local people who have made your business what it is. You know most country folks around here cant afford the rifles you carry daily. Just makes me sad that the locals aren't taken care of. But guess that's big business when you lose touch.

Loved the Aquarium. A bit of a steep admission price. But JUST the Aquarium took me solo , 2 hours to walk through the place. Very big and very well constructed for the entertainment factor. Kid friendly!

Great place to take your kids and your dog when it's too cold and wet to do anything fun outside! Also, great selection of clothing and guns!

20 minutes before closing only one register open. That's what you see in walmart.

Johnny Morris knows what he's doing. We all know that this place is huge, but it keeps getting bigger and so does the selection. Prices are usually good (especially sales) because so many of the brands are owned by BP. Don't forget the outlet!

Oh yeah -- they price match, which is awesome. Look online at comparable websites and save even more.

We bought jackets for ourselves that were decent pricing even for Bass Pro.

I liked the place, just did not like seeing all the dead fish on the walls. I would rather see them in the water.

I traveled from VA just to see it, and keep my spouse happy.

Bass Pro Shops is one of those places where one can spend all day and still not see everything they have to offer. Boats, fishing equipment, clothes, knives, and about everything else for the fisherman and hunter. They also have huge aquariums with no trout, bass, alligators, many other kinds of fish, as well as a gun museum and many taxidermied animals, such as deer, bear, wild cats, etc. One of the other things I like about this place is that when you walk in, you can look onto the ceiling. It makes it look like you are looking up at the surface of the water, as if you are a diver. The staff appear to be very knowledgeable about their products. I am sure they could also give advice about fishing, hunting, and boating.
