My rating might as well be 1 star. There were plenty of things to complain about. Like i had to sleep one night in a corridor, was examined in front of lots of people who looked at etc etc.
BUT, it's about politics and resources. And I had not expected much more. What I had never expected, however, were all those nurses and nurses who did ALL to make me well and feel good.
So incredibly much warmth, empathy and sincere dedication to my well-being. That the hospital with such obvious lack of resources succeeds in having such a wonderful staff is honestly a total mystery to me.

Due to a loss in my left hand, I went to the emergency room but was sent home from an unpleasant nurse Kickan Hansson without coming forward and seeing a doctor. Her diagnosis in my journal is unspecified. How can it be so in Sweden that an SSK can decide and be diagnosed instead by a doctor ..... UNCEPTABLE in my home country Germany but I live, work pay taxes and live here and then I wish a good treatment if I have problems and need to see a doctor. Hope you do not meet her at some point.
Beware of the wheelchair police !!! My child who had badly injured his leg and was in such a pain that he could not walk for over a week, he neither can nor can support the leg for the doctor, and must be sick from school a total of almost a month before he heals, he has crutches, but he can no longer go with them, he is also autistic. We would check so he had no blood clots in the blood vessels in his leg but no one knew where we were going so my son had to borrow a wheelchair from a nice staff who helped me, because it was so far to get back and forth and it was impossible for him with the crutches, he was already white and cold-sweaty, so we got good help from the wheelchair, which we were also allowed to borrow. Then we get right to the end and then we move on from there to the ultrasound, we don't even get out of the elevator until I get aggressively caught up by two blonde aunts, one of which stands with an empty wheelchair that they have already taken from another patient! So, they start accusing me of taking the wheelchair unnecessarily, so that my son can really walk well, apparently they were more capable than the doctor themselves to determine how injured my son was! They meant that there are very few others who are in greater need of borrowing a wheelchair and also thought that I would have somehow managed to return the wheelchair before we even finished it. Not only that, they were incredibly unpleasant and offensive to both of us !! I tried to explain to them, but just got shit back, they would have the wheelchair at all costs, so my son had to sit on a chair while they took the wheelchair away from us !! Then he had to sit on that chair and couldn't get out of there, he managed to get a few meters in the end, but it was a long way to the next ward, and they took his wheelchair just as we were moving on to the next ward. So in the end I had to go and get the wheelchair again because he no longer came and he started to get more and more hurt. Judge my surprise when these two wheelchairs that were so urgent to collect are standing next to each other !! It was so urgent that they throw off my injured child and leash his wheelchair, and are really angry at the purchase! But my son did not dare to sit in it now after this, so I had to persuade him and then run with him to the waiting room, and run back with the wheelchair again. The two unpleasant aunts were standing outside and it felt like the wheelchairs guarded, they work in the hospital at the information and apparently they have a job to take wheelchairs from injured children? Then we would move on and he really didn't dare take a wheelchair, so he had to fight his way, we were also sent wrong and back and forth between different departments so it did not help, he was fainting in the end and we had only had a wheelchair would have been so much better and easier all day.
I don't even know what happened? Two incredibly nice aunts working at the front desk are forcing my son a wheelchair we had to borrow because he can not walk and has not been able to for over a week thus! And they also accuse me and question both me and my son if he is hurt, abusive disgusting behavior!
Okay, it would have been urgent and someone really was in more need of a wheelchair than my son and if they had not been nasty and unpleasant, but this felt like bullying. We both became quite shaky and shocked afterwards about this "treat".
I did not know what to do and this is perhaps petty of mine, but I photographed them and posted here, they can take it after treating us in this way. I have erased a person who was included in the photo so it can be anonymous. So, yeah.
Visit the medicine box. Fantastic staff. Calm, caring and friendly. Was well taken care of. Seems it seemed structured and well planned in their routines. Be surprised that the "promised" chaos was not there.
There is no care to get. The nurse said: You are not in pain. She did not receive a qualified examination at all. It is the emergency room in Helsingborg in a nutshell!
Long waiting times in the emergency usually but never been sent home as in horror stories one has heard around the country. The staff does not seem very motivated but is never unpleasant what I have been through. Got the help I got there.
Believe the two missing stars are a result of health care being rated by the state in recent years. They seem to care but lack resources and lack staff. Not as bad as the elderly, however. And not as a raw care center where Doctors are lazy and all staff except the sampling and physiotherapists are doing a bad job.
The lung clinic received a referral for 4 months ago because I am coughing my lungs off. Is definitely not going to get hold of someone there after I called you and got the answer that it will take time before you get to come here (very spicy woman like this). 90 day care guarantee they can stop somewhere. Swedish healthcare would have to go to Thailand and learn how to behave towards patients, and then they had got a shock
Have only positive things to say about HBG hospital and the care facilities on the 2nd floor. I gave birth to my child there at the end of August and received the best care from the delivery, neonatal ward, neo-care and BB. They acted quickly and made sure the baby received the care needed to feel good and I was taken care of in the best way by everyone involved. Really highly recommend giving birth here.
My mother-in-law visited us in Sweden and while traveling had a bad fall and hurt her arm and ankle. Upon her arrival we immediately went to the emergency in lasarettet. There we saw a nurse who said the ankle was no problem (because my More
Just wonder what you're heading for. But the goodness is bad. Can not do anything. And call up for a week when you do not need them. But should become more knowledgeable in hormone disorders.
Calling 1177 and telling about my symptoms, the lady in the hand says that I should call an ambulance or immediately go into the emergency room with someone. Once in the emergency room, I tell the same symptoms and get enrolled. The nurse takes ECG and blood tests, then it stops nice. After that I get to lie in a corridor for 14 hours !!! Only then does a jerky doctor come and say that I have no life-threatening symptoms and that I do not have to do that. He says that he has other cases to run on and that I should contact the health center. When I ask why it took 14 hours to get that answer, he says that I chose it myself ... After all, you take the thing seriously when 1177 says you should go in emergency. But at Helsingborg's emergency department, you will be treated as an idiot who does not have to do that .... Strongly suspects that they are over time so that I would get tired and never want to go there again after 14 hours of waiting. For so many patients there was not.
Waited for 1 1/5 hour in the waiting room and then discovered that they had not registered for booking. So terribly poorly managed so you can wonder if they are sicker than their patients!
The delivery department was good. BB disaster 2015. Staff who became annoyed when called for help. At a stage where you are very emotionally exposed, it feels extra important with understanding and empathetic staff. Horrible experience to lie at BB in Helsingborg.
5 stars for childbirth and BB. Absolutely fantastic help you get there. The staff is incredibly kind and caring! I have been to other departments before too and have only positive to say about this place. Looking forward to and remodeling / modernization! Will be a good motivation for the staff and make the place even better.
5 stars for childbirth and BB. Absolutely fantastic help you get there. The staff is incredibly kind and caring! I have been to other departments before as well and have only positive things to say about this place.
Gynmottagningen ... great warning. Two visits, met three different people, two midwives and a doctor. All as nonchalant, uninterested and patronized. Was so terribly ill-treated in a very exposed situation. Had I been able to give a crossed star, I would have done it. Never go back there.
Worst service. The nurse I talked to was very mean to me. Acted very mad and unproffesional. She refused to speak English (even though she could speak English perfectly fine) and forced me to speak Swedish. My Swedish is very basic and she could hear that, but still she continued in Swedish. She asked me all of these difficult questions, I didn't understand and got super grumpy when I told her I didn't understand what she was saying. I was very upset after meeting her, as I felt super sick and you go to a hospital to get help. Nurses in my opinion should try to comfort you and try to help you. Not to get mad at you for coming to the hospital...
Saved the life of many you know. Would not have survived the first day themselves if they had not been phenomenal already in 1973. The staff are fighting against overcrowding, etc. which management does not seem to be able to cure.
Absolutely awful hospital, to be honest. Much can be blamed on lack of resources, understaffing & the like. But when the problem consists of staff indifference and mistrust, it is a completely different five. To me, it is absurd that during your sickest days, with pain and tears in your eyes, you should be treated with a cold hand. Receptions that make diagnoses without having met one (!), According to brief descriptions of symptoms in referral. Clinics that refuse to treat an ongoing problem that other medications have not worked on. For almost a year, I have been going through escalating pains, which have made me totally house-bound with no real form of painkiller at all. I have not been offered a proper investigation, treatment or help from Helsingborg Hospital. Ashamed!
Good deal, very knowledgeable and friendly staff at the emergency room. You feel safe and calm. Thank you for the help I received after a severe bicycle accident on July 16th. Thank you very much to the nurse Lotta and emergency therapist Herman Tagger!
Was on the surgeon's June-17 arrival with an ambulance The most offending I have been with Dying rather at home than going there again. 10, 20, 30 years ago you were very well received at the Hbg laser, maybe you are treated less well the older you get
Be there with your son today. Met by a wonderful nurse Irene also the doctor Johan was the top. Thank you for taking care of him. Gets so happy when a doctor, nurse understands one's concerns about one's children. Has happened before that we have been sent home but not today.
Got to visit the emergency during the Easter Sunday and luckily it was. Just have to tell you how after this visit I really despise the staff who despite a chaos but equally able to handle the situation with lack of places and staff. Was urgently hospitalized and cared for in the best way by friendly and professional staff who really gave everything they had to solve everyone's problems in the best way. During the night at 2am I drew a prize draw and was moved to MAVA by two friendly and very service-aware nurses. During the move they talked about "my" Doctor Vesna who would have gone home by 8 pm but still sat and dictated diagnoses. Yes talk about dedicated staff. Thank you to you all and especially to you Vesna who did not let me go home, a big eloge to you when you, with the blink of an eye, asked me to go out and smoke a cigarette, you understood what was needed :-). Yours faithfully J
The pain unit in Helsingborg is the most welcoming reception, friendly response from all staff, Dr. Christer Malmros the most responsive Dr., sees and understands the patient and follows up so you feel safe. Thank you for being there!
